Did not stay but had food which was first class

Stopped by the Costa drive-thru and grabbed a matcha latte—smooth, well-balanced, and just the right amount of sweetness. Quick service and friendly staff made it a pleasant visit.

We visited here a few times for Sunday lunch when our children were small. I remember the lovely atmosphere as they would have a trio of musicians playing trad jazz in the dining area & big chesterfield sofas to relax with a drink after lunch in the bar area. After having a wonderful afternoon tea back in January, my husband and I decided it would be a great idea to bring the family and grandchildren back here for Sunday lunch. We arrived early and enjoyed a cocktail in the bar prior to the lunch. However when we went into the restaurant the table was only laid for 6, and they said that they wasn't informed that it was 6 adults and 2 children. Now reception were very keen to take our deposit back in January, I also had an email confirming the numbers for the booking, so I'm unsure as to why the information hadn't been clear to the restaurant, but mishaps happen and that's ok. After this the only word I can use would be chaotic, I'd have been quite happy to return back to the bar and have another drink whilst they sorted the table, instead we were just sort of standing there. Once the table was laid, we sat down and was offered water.....I then wanted to find out how the menu worked with the children but I felt trying to catch the waiters eye was quite difficult......we then wanted to order wine for the table but again this proved to be quite difficult. It wasn't very busy either. I'm sure if they had a good front of house/maitre d' these little problems could be easily rectified. When we had settled, our waiter turned out to be friendly & funny. On the plus side it has a relaxed atmosphere, was lovely for the children. The food was delicious, although the roast wasn't hot when it was served at the table. They had a pianist playing in the bar area but you couldn't really hear it in the restaurant. It reminded me of being on a cruise ship & I'm not sure if this is positive or negative ....... Maybe we will pop back for a drink on the terrace in the summer.....

Very average . Felt like eating on an aeroplane. Prepacked egg sandwich heated to a temperature which would melt steel.

Well distanced inside, good food, good service, friendly staff, excellent breakfast with a great variation in types available, give it a go.

Was looking forward to buying a takeaway from here again. I have not been in this area for quite a few months. This time, I got a delivery to the hotel. Fantastic food, early delivery, and food was piping hot. Recommend the homemade Kofta. I'll be back later in the year and will be ordering again..

Ordered a collection here after a friends recommendation. Food is lovely, only 20minutes and lovely. Standard Chinese prices but not massive portions of greasy rubbish. Will be coming back for sure!

Cafe is ok, food and drinks are ok too, but young women who work here need to get it together. We came in a few days ago, it was very quiet and no one was waiting. So imagine our surprise when the three staff just continued chatting and ignored us !! You think that’s bad ? After they eventually took our coffee order, they had the cheek to ask for a tip !!! Unbelievable! ( and don’t say you don’t ask, you push the pay screen at people and say ‘ there’s a question ‘, you look down and it’s asking for a tip, so yeah, you definitely do ) Want a tip ? Then don’t leave customers standing around whilst you s(@g off the boss !!!!

We come here very often for breakfast and dinner. Special thanks to James the chef and Sarah on front of house, who both work in the morning. Fantastic breakfast cooked by James rated 10/10 by my children, and a shout out to Sarah for her excellent customer service. Highly recommend

Went for dinner tonight and the food was great, very filling! Was served by Charlotte who was fabulous! Thanks for a great evening!

Best place for a beer in bagshot

We had a delightful afternoon tea experience, made even more special by our incredibly attentive waiter Arish . The sandwiches and cakes were fresh and beautifully presented, and the atmosphere was charming and relaxing. A special thanks to Arish for his warm and thoughtful service which truly elevated the experience for us . Highly recommend!

Ordered poached eggs on toast. This comprised of 2 slices of toast and 3eggs 1egg was poached the other 2 was hard ! How can they get this so wrong ? If they can’t poach eggs than don’t put in on the menu !

We popped here for lunch on Saturday. As usual the café was heaving and we had to queue to enter. Anyway, once seated we ordered 2 pizzas and 2 milkshakes. The milkshakes are not the thick variety, more like Nesquik with some squirty cream on top - not really worth a fiver a pop. Pizzas were nice and smoky but the toppings were so bland! I had the BBQ Chicken and as the waiter served it he said to me "Oh, you ordered the best one!". Well it certainly looked good but it was a real disappointment. The BBQ sauce tasted watered down, the chicken and peppers were just tasteless and sloppy respectively. My fiancée had the Ham and Pineapple (normally her favourite) but she was equally disappointed. The pizzas are about £14 each but to be honest, I could buy a supermarket Cheese and Tomato and then pimp it with my own toppings and it would be better. The food is overpriced for the quality you get, yet they keep flocking!
