Family of 18 Adults for special Sunday Lunch! The food was amazing! Large portions and piping hot! Good service, good value and very attentive Staff! As a large family, we have had a few special occasions at The Foresters Arms, the food and service never disappoints.

Once again my wife and I popped in for a meal to save cooking at home and had a lovely meal served piping hot and quickly, With a couple of beers and a bottle of wine it was very reasonable Looking forward to the roast dinners coming back for the winter

So attractive from outside with the hanging baskets and a large car park behind. My husband had the Chilli con carne and I had Scampi - both dishes were beautifully presented, hot and very tasty. The dessert special was Caramel Cheesecake with cream - unbelievably good. Greeted with a warm and friendly smile and made to feel very welcome. Definitely superior pub food and we'll be back!

Stumbled across the foresters arms at the beginning of the year and we are fast becoming regulars. Food is lovely, the foresters burger is absolutely amazing! Good value for money. The staff are always happy, friendly and helpful. They make you feel part of a family making you feel right at home.

Excellent lunch and good value for money. Beer is a reasonable price too. We will be returning again soon.

A regular attendee for dinner on Friday evenings. Always find the food to be very nice (the selection of pies are highly recommended) and good service as well. Plus occasional mid-week visit for a couple of drinks as easily walking distance. A great venue as effectively there are three different areas so even if the bar is busy, you can still enjoy dinner in the restaurant area (or a separate bar area) so often busy without be uncomfortably so. I had the pleasure of holding my engagement party at the Foresters Arms yesterday and I can do nothing but praise the venue. The staff are always more than happy to help. The decor is so lovely, you don’t need to do much of your own. Couldn’t recommend this venue enough. I had around 80 people and there was plenty of space.

We booked this pub for a family and friends lunch to celebrate my wife’s 70th birthday. There were 25 of us, ranging from toddler to “senior” (and a puppy)! We’d been at this pub for a Christmas party many years ago and more recently for Sunday lunch. We were given the menu in advance and had a choice of 3 starters, main courses and desserts. They provided table service and everything was served in good time. I had Bang bang chicken to start, followed by chicken curry and apple crumble with custard. All of the food was excellent. We had teas and coffees to go with the birthday cake, which we provided. The room we were in is separate from the rest of the pub, which my daughter and granddaughters were able to decorate, and the pub provided background music which was at a suitable volume for conversation, but loud enough to be appreciated! The room was ours for as long as we wanted, it was after 7pm when the last of us left. I would certainly recommend this pub for this sort of party, Lisa and her staff are very helpful, particularly with the organisation, nothing appeared too much trouble.

Terrible service from staff, rude and unhelpful. Food was average nothing to write home about. Won’t be back in a hurry.

We came for sunday lunch with 2 small children, and we had an amazing lunch, service and live music. The roasts are absolutely amazing, huge portions, even the children's portions were large. The cauliflower cheese side dish was soo nice. Highly recommend you book in advance as Sunday lunch is very popular. The Foresters hold a lovely range of wines, beers, ale, and gins (so my friend pointed out numerous times)!! We were lucky enough to still be in the pub for the live music, which was an added bonus to a lovely Sunday afternoon. We also booked for the comedy evening, which we can't wait for.

My family got back form a trip away and i arranged a take away roast dinner for 4 people which i collected at lunchtime on Sunday for us in the evening It was spectacular more that enough food and very well cooked even after it had been warmed up Would recommend this as a treat to anyone, also had a quick pint as i waited.....

We all had pie, great range to choose from and food was hot, well presented and with great service. Dogs not allowed in main restaurant but are in the bar area which isn't great. Good value and nice location

What a fantastic night we all had this past Saturday the tribute band Madness were fantastic. It goes without saying all the staff were wonderful they always are !!!! Also we frequently eat at the pub and I can honestly say it’s fantastic always fresh and piping hot cannot fault anything about The Foresters . This is one of many many nights we’ve had at The Foresters we actually had our wedding reception there back in September and all the staff and managers did us proud so once again a big big thank you we love you .

We normally use the Cedar Tree in Bagshot, the past six months has seen it get worse every week. I have not been to The Foresters Arms for 7 years, WOW! How much fun, I think the woman behind the bar was called Chanel, big smile and very welcoming. We will be walking that extra 5 min to drink there now.

i regularly use the pub for my family meals and a few drinks after work. We recently used the pub for a joint christening and birthday function. i would just like to thank Lisa and her team for the excellent food and service during the day. They could not do enough for us. Would highly recommend this pub for functions.

We went to the pub a few weeks ago and had a great meal. Went back today and meal was ok but a small portion so we asked for some more vegetables which we were given to be fair. I also asked if the had been a change of chef as the meals were different. I thought that was why the portions were smaller But I think actually it was a lack of supply as there were a few things off the menu.After our meal Lisa the owner came up to to us very aggressively and said they do not get complaints. We seriously thought she was going punch us both for daring to even think about complaining.But we actually did not complained!!!Anyway tried to explain to Lisa that it was good to get feedback rather than us just saying everything was fine and never coming back. Customers who give feedback are always the best.Will we go back well we will have to think about it but we did get a laugh reading some of Lisa’s comments to complaints.We think Lisa and staff are basically doing a good job and we will give it another go - we live close so should be regular customers ie £40 every two weeks is almost £1000 a year customer so if she is going to survive she needs regulars like us.Anyway the food is good and “normally” the staff are very nice so I would say give it a go as probably Lisa had a bad day when we were there this time!!!X

We visited as part of a group having pre booked. However we arrived an hour late, no problem, our food arrived very promptly freshly cooked and delicious.

Popped in to eat on the off chance on a Wednesday night, table for 5, three different meals, served all at the same time pipping hot and cooked to perfection. Last minute decision to go out for Sunday lunch. Had a delicious meal in the restaurant. Kids portions were huge!! Polite prompt service with cheerful waitress. Kitchen staff obviously care about what they do and the food they provide - scrummy cauliflower cheese.

Lovely staff, management and pub atmosphere, witch serves great homemade food. Will definitely come again.

Shame such lovely reviews, I went for lunch with partner and ordered from the menu sandwich with soup. No soup just chips and the waitress seemed a bit lost to be honest. She even mentioned to us that she did not work on Saturdays, she gave us our lunch and then took them away saying it was not our order (we had started to eat) and then came back to us with the same order. Told me no soup available so I had chips, she did not even check if I wanted them! She was a bit stressed and the couple on the table next to us thought it was very funny, as the waitress whisked away the food before we could even say 'ooops', we have started to eat! We ended up laughing as well. Would go back, hopefully the waitress won't be so stressed!

Thank you to Chloe! Far over and above our expectations! After 7 years of hard work, muddy shin pads and parental VAR from the sidelines ...Rob led the team won (by a mile!) their league. Taking a pause from GCSE revision, and the homemade burgers (delicious ) on order...disaster struck! Our manager, Rob, was stuck in Portugal as his flight was cancelled. Chloé was brilliant: she gave us the WiFi code, turned down the pub music, let us then borrow the sound cable to our iPad which meant that a very (justifiably so)proud team manager could still do his presentations and enabled everyone the opportunity to ‘chat’ to Rob. No he wasn’t here in person, but thanks to Chloe & the Foresters Arms team- they have made our day & we’ll be forever grateful. #indies #local

Fantastic evening at The Foresters , the staff and food were 1st class.

The staff are 100%. The food is variable. 4 of our guests had pork roast but the quantities of meat on the plate varied considerably. The starters were cool.

We enjoyed our fish and chips, however the menu was very limited for a Saturday lunch time. There was a "special" offering chalked on a blackboard but the unlucky bar lady had to tell us it was not available. Why not just wipe the board ? Slightly embarrassing for her then we overheard her explaining to someone there were no sausages, t h en another couple decided to leave. If you have a giant Waitrose across the road then I would never expect a pub to run out of chicken pie or sausages. As a backstop also maybe do beefburger dish on a Saturday ? Generally sorry for the staff, it was on that day undermanaged..what a shame..its a nice place.

The Foresters Arms was recommended to us by the staff in the hotel we were staying at as we wanted to eat somewhere other than at the hotel. The staff were very friendly and sorted us out a table despite being very busy. The pub has a good choice of beer so I was very happy. Good choice of food also and I have to say the pie that I had was absolutely fantastic. Clearly home made and packed with flavour.

Very disappointed with our Sunday roast at £17.00 each. The meat was awful and full of gristle, so I left it. Only given half a potato and the vegetables were frozen. Icomplained and so did my partner to the young staff who were gathering around the bar area and the staff did nothing about it! I have a very good sense of humour and as for your sign, obviously good chefs are hard to find, as you don’t seem to have one! I did complain to the girl with the nose piercing and I left my trio of meat and so did my Son, I have attached photos of our plates before they were removed by the young girl I mentioned. When asked by the waitress was everything ok? I said no, and explained the meal was awful and that is why I left my meat. She cleared my plate away and said nothing more about it. Such a shame, as I have eaten here before on several occasions and the food was fine.

Although there is a limited menu on a Sunday there is still a great choice of roasts; a couple of alternatives and a vegetarian option. The food was plentiful, beautifully presented and very tasty. All requests (more gravy; extra Yorkshire Puds; chips instead of roasties) were cheerfully handled and all the staff were very helpful. A really good find.

We visited the Foresters for Mothering Sunday and it did not disappoint! The roast dinner was delicious! It looked amazing when it arrived, and tasted just as good! The roast vegetables and cauliflower cheese were incredibly tasty and the puddings just mouth watering! Will be back!

We popped into this local pub for a lunch on Saturday and found it to be a nice friendly cosy type of English pub and we enjoyed a lovely cooked meal and would recommend it here.

Great place for a Sunday roast, accommodated 12 of us. Starters, mains and desert. Even catered for gluten free. I was happy they even showed the footie. Lovely meal and big portions.

It was a while ago now but we went here last July 2018. It is on our doorstep so was hoping for a great Sunday Roast.

First impression, I wasn’t sure but friendly staff and delicious lunch made this little pub well worth a visit.

It's a while since my wife and I visited, but after a horrendous visit to Frimley Park hospital, we needed a restorative drink. The Foresters did the job.

Very friendly staff and the meals are fantastic. Always plenty of food on the plate. Staff remembered my drink order from my previous visit a month earlier. Will always go back if I'm in Bagshot.

Came in Saturday for a quick pint and ask the manager if she could seat 8 for lunch the next day , There wasn’t a issue

Visited again this lovely little gem of a pub this time with my mates , we had a lovely selection of roast meat sandwiches at the bar and the beer was fantastic, what a lovely warm friendly pub this is and most definitely the best pub in bagshot. A friend had recommended having a meal at the Foresters Arms. Hence, we stopped off early evening and ordered the 'Tuesday' special. However, there was little atmosphere and the tables were rather weather beaten and not conducive to a dining experience. Hence, our expectations of the food were not great...however, we were mildly surprised at the quality and presentation of the food and it even came with the added bonus of a glass of wine each. The service was good. A shame about the shabbiness of the establishment.

We went for a meal on Saturday night prior to attending a tribute band performance at the pub. We had booked a table and arrived on time. There were a number of occupied tables. We ordered and received our drinks reasonably quickly. Unfortunately, we had been in the pub for 40 minutes before our food order was taken!!! Our waiting time from arrival to having our food served was 90 minutes!!! However, the hospitality chap was excellent- kept us up to date with the goings on and offered a discount on our wines. When the food arrived, it was excellent. Adequate portions and very tasty indeed.Very generously, we got a 50% discount on our meals and were also given a complimentary bottle of wine. Faultless hospitality service, but this venue definitely needs to address the staffing issue. An extra pair of hands in both the kitchen and waiting staff is very necessary. I will revisit The Foresters to assess it and see if what we experienced was a 'one off'. I do hope so as there was a lovely atmosphere and excellent food.

Under new management and what a good team they are. The food is really good - tasty and obviously made using fresh ingredients. The staff are super friendly and efficient and genuinely seem to care. The venue has a variety of events ranging from live music to comedy nights and other stuff so there's plenty to keep you entertained as well as the food.

My husband and I held our joint 40th party in the function room and it was the perfect venue! Cosy and atmospheric but still spacious. Staff were welcoming, relaxed and flexible. Would definitely recommend it for parties and functions!

Booked for 5 for a 3 course Prosecco Lunch on a Friday for my birthday. The staff could not have been more helpful and attentive even making sure that we had 80s music to listen to. The table had been set up with balloons and wine was ready and waiting for us. We were made to feel very welcome so much so that lunch turned into afternoon and evening! Visited the pub again Friday evening for a snack and drinks, pub was pleasantly very cozy, food was served piping hot and beer was served cold and fresh just how I like it , ended up staying and watching the band .

Came here with my husband this week after a bad experience back in December after seeing all the fabulous reviews we cautiously descided to give it a second go after seeing under new staff and referb. I was rather disappointed as the staff at the bar were not enthusiastic and were just talking among themselves, the food was rather bland and over cooked my dessert was chewy and very sticky to what I would have expected it all seemed very rushed I was so disappointed after seeing the fab reviews that I had to experience, on the positive side the garden looks tremendous and the decoration looks pleasant inside. Popped in with a work colleague on the off chance. Big car park at the back. Grabbed 2 sandwich options which were both great and original. Quick service and attentive staff. Will return for a look at the rest of the extensive menu!!

My wife and I popped in on the way home around 6pm for an early dinner.

Stopped off here for a bite to eat Friday lunch time, my husband is really a fussy eater but nothing was too much trouble for the lady behind the bar. She made sure all the requirements were met and went out of her way to order exactly what he wanted even though that meant changing a few things. The sandwich selection is spectacular with some really funny puns used to name them. Dogs are welcome in the bar area and we were given a treat for our dog upon arriving! The best pub by far in Bagshot. The food was amazing quality and there's a very large gin selection (I'll be trying a few very soon) we will be back for sure 100%.
