Brilliant pub! Came here with my family the other day for some food and drinks and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the evening! The service was exceptional from start to finish especially from this young lady Becca who was charming and so welcoming to all of us! We will definitely be coming back at some point and I highly recommend the place to anyone who hasn't been before!

Lovely pub but don't bother getting a portion of chips as a snack. It's £5 and you get about 14 chips in a small bowl.

The Rose and Thistle is a great local pub to attend with friends, families and colleagues. The staff are absolutely fantastic and I must mention Hannah (brilliant assistant manager) and the always lovely Gary who never fails to present a great weekly quiz!!! Everyone always has a smile on their face when they greets us and are kind and attentive upon our visits! I highly recommend a visit!!

We went to the Rose and Thistle for the first time last night. The atmosphere was warm welcoming and relaxing and our server Filip was attentive funny and had us laughing all evening, he went above and beyond to ensure a memorable dinning experience. The food and drinks came quickly and the food from appetisers to mains were delicious. Bravo 👏

My partner and I came here for a meal out and enjoyed every minute. The staff were friendly and down to earth and the food was absolutely amazing. The pub itself self is a warm and welcoming environment, we are very pleased to of came and planning to visit again.

Nice atmosphere. Cook was obviously challenged as food was a bit late for some in our party (8). Some of us very disappointed by the quality of their order, others ok.

Roast dinner.... not good. £51 for 3 dinners....

Becca gave great service (she kissed me in the club so I would write this) 7/10 kiss.

The food was very enjoyable and there was a good a selection of real ales that not all pubs offer There were no meat roast dinner options left though, which should not be the case early on a Sunday afternoon. A roast was something I was looking forward to. There seems to be limited availability for items on the menu each time I have been to the Rose and Thistle, which is a shame. I would love to give a better review and recommendation when this topic is addressed

We’ve lived in the area for 20 years and have heard many times that the rose is great for a roast.. when booking online we were advised that roasts after 3pm were not guaranteed but anything before that is fine .. at 1.30 on a Sunday all but the beef and nut roast were gone which was a bad start. The veg was all cold.. and served on a weird serving matt that looked more at home under a plate than acting as one.. a rather than a bowl or something with edges might have been more suitable .. no serving utensils provided.. apparently a portion of pigs in blankets on the sharer roast was 2 .. the yorkshires were flat and raw in the middle.. we all left most of our meals.. at nearly £17-20 for a roast we all left very underwhelmed.. Due to leaving the bulk of the mains, we ordered deserts.. which were fine.. although no custard was available. Shame.

Just WOW!!! Came in on Saturday and the atmosphere and environment was amazing! Even when busy, fast service from both Josh and Cara! The food is great and steaming hot! Could not recommend enough!

Best roast dinner I’ve had in AGES and I’m fussy !! Usually I leave restaurants disappointed 😭😭 however after having Sunday roast at the rose we were full and very happy ! Will definitely be back .. !!

This is the best pub in Frimley Green. Come for the music, stay for the bar staff and incredible food.everyone here is lovely and it’s a great night out.

Just home from birthday meal (13 adults 3children) all on long table. Plenty of time to meet & greet. Food was excellent service was very good and polite. Allowed to stay as long as needed. Reasonably priced. Give the pub a try you won’t regret it. Many thanks!!!

We had the seafood and Languinis, although the service was quick food, the food was only just warm, when the bar staff cleared the plates, we were asked if everything was ok, we commented that it was ok, but it wasn’t hot, reply we got was…. Oh ok.. I’ll let the kitchen know.. so be warned food isn’t served hot

Good place, kind and helpful staff. 🙂 The food could do with a bit of a tune up as the dishes were just plain, tasty tho, but just plain... prices are a bit on the expensive side and food you get doesn’t reflect it at all. Also a bit of attention to tidiness as table wasn’t the cleanest. 😑 🙂

All staff here are fantastic, Hanna, Cara, fill, and Paige, they are the heart of the pub, they are what make this place special, of course everything else is a bonus, the food is great and always filling. I would recommend people to come here as often as they can, everyday seems different here.

Staff are absolutely fantastic, food is top notch, never leaving with a empty stomach. Everyone is unique in the pub, ranging from regulars and staff. Staff will always be down to help with any enquiry’s and are always down for a chat, when they aren’t busy. The regulars always have a good laugh especially when there are events at the pub. Any time I get I try and spend it down here to enjoy the good vibes :)

You always have a good time at the R&T. It's such a friendly and lively pub. There's always good entertainment and the pub is big and contemporary, with the food to match.

I've found a new favourite spot for the post ride beers and food. I enjoyed the fish n chips, whilst friends smashed into the steak. If you do ride around the nearby trails, then add here to your list of places to stop for the post ride banter.

I have been coming to the rose for years with my family multiple times a week and look forward to coming every single time! Atmosphere on band nights is unbeatable! The food is immaculate… literally mouth watering. Also, the shake up summer cocktails of the week are the best cocktails I’ve had recently!! The staff are amazing, seeing Cara , Hannah and Beth always makes me smile :)

Delightful friendly pub with a lovely outside seating area, tasty quick served food Hannah took my order and some how up sold me from a half pint to a pint and a sandwich (which was sorely needed) amazing space love area highly recommend.

Upon arrival my party waited at the “Wait To Be Seated” sign for sometime eventually gave up and went to find someone who then showed us to where we were sitting. After that service was pretty good, no problems with that. But the standard of food was poor all reheated or microwaved nothing homemade. For the price I was expecting homemade food not reformed.

Staff not available to seat us at venue,but were friendly. Food was mediocre at best, all microwaved or reheated. Would not eat here again, shame as it has potential to be a really nice place to eat.

Been out with my family for Sunday lunch, 12 of us, easy to book, great service and food has been served promptly, hot and delicious. Highly recommended

Absolute sh** show from start to finish. 6/10 meals were very cold or very wrong. Drinks were not coming out when asked. Steak was put in a microwave to ‘heat’ up with salad also on the plate so salad was warm! Just an awful experience....
