Just had Sunday roast here , the food was delicious, my roast chicken was soft and moist ,roast potatoes were perfectly cooked and vegetables were tasty. All the food was freshly cooked This is a hidden gem in Staines and if you in Staines come try the food here , it’s also reasonably priced. Looks like a family business . We will return to try breakfast

Heard that this new place was opening last night so had to try it. Had a noodle box which I created myself ( I loved this ). Could put absolutely everything on top. Tried a couple of the sides too and the miso carrots were gorgeous. All for £12 which I thought was more than value for money. Will definitely be a regular and highly recommend

I recently ordered a soup udon and three portions of sushi for delivery, and it was an absolute disaster. Whether it was due to poor packaging or mishandling by the delivery driver, the soup was completely spilled all over the order. The soup container was emptied, and the hot soup soaked into the sushi, ruining everything. When I called the restaurant to explain what happened, I was shocked by the lack of professionalism from the staff. I was told to bring the order back to the restaurant, but the whole point of ordering delivery was that I couldn’t leave the house due to medical reasons. The female staff member I spoke to was extremely rude and unhelpful. When I asked what I could do or if there was any assistance they could provide, she just kept responding with “hmm hmm… hmm hmm…”—completely dismissive and unprofessional. In the end, I was left with sushi soaked in soup, a dry noodle soup, and a huge disappointment. This kind of service is unacceptable, and I would not recommend ordering from this restaurant unless you want to risk a similar experience.

A huge disappointment! The food was good but we ended up with an additional £43 on our bill due to our ‘mid-understanding’. We ordered 2 portions of meze starter and 2 portions of main platter but were charged for 2 meze and 4 platters, we feel truly ripped off and will not return.

Thameside Tap Room / The Last Hop – Staines On Thames. Berkshire A spacious wooden layout tap-room bar, with food service though the main diner was closed. Though they usually have live music at weekends which I would have enjoyed they were screening Euros football instead during my visit. The real ale range was cool and there was a lovely ambience plus there are lovely views over the Thames too. Arthur Chappell

Church Street Cafe is a good, authentic New Mexican restaurant. They have a pretty large large menu selection, and I ordered combination plate, which included one tamale, one chile relleno, and one cheese enchilada with red and green chili. It tasted excellent and the portion size was pretty big. They even gave the table chips and salsa and a free Mexican desert consisting of flour bread. The environment was very pleasant with distinct architecture, plenty of decorations on the wall, friendly staff, and live Mexican music being played with a harp involved. I also learned that this building is rich with history, as it was built in 1706 and it is supposedly haunted. I really enjoyed my meal at Church Street Cafe and I highly recommend dining here for an authentic, old New Mexican experience.
