The Last Hop in Spelthorne

Well I had a great time with my friends. Food menu good and our pizza were great. It’s a really nice find thanks to my best fiend. I felt comfortable and welcomed.

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE FOR EVENTS!!!!!! I booked and paid for my Mums surprise 50th birthday party to take place here. I also paid, for 2 bands, catering, decorations etc - the day before i went to check if they were good to go with everything, and they had double booked!!! They'd allowed another party of 100+ guests. My mums party had 100+ guests too. They wanted me to provide the entertainment, food etc so the other party would have got a 'free night' even though I had booked and paid well before the other party!! The Manager - Ant, was SO rude, unhelpful and i will never drink here again. Please trust me when i say, do not book your events here. Disgusting place and they should be banned from running events. Not helpful, greedy and incredibly unfriendly. Do not give them your money, they do not deserve it.

Popped down for a couple of drinks and thought we’d try out the pizzas. Best I’ve had in a very long time. Light, fresh and very tasty. Would recommend and will be coming back! 🍕👍😋

Fun riverside craft beer bar with live music and great range of drinks, surprisingly reasonable prices!

Nice and modern pub with a good selection of beers. Enjoyed the pizza as well. The prices were more than reasonable. I will definetely come back when Im in the area again.

Great sekection of craft beer. Don’t miss the beer paddle abd ask for Brojen Dream stout. Pizzas were delicious. Great atmosphere and knowledgeable and service minded staff. Location by the Thames is the best in Staines.

Thanks for a great time The Last Hop, it kicked started our break in the best way possible. Your recommendation to have the sample paddle of ales was the best idea, it set us up for the day, and not forgetting the the delicious salami pizza’s too. Met the owner (Antony I think!) who was really happy to explain the great stock of small brewery ales (knowledge which is hard to find in this area). All in all great beer, more of those pizzas please and good service. Sorry no photos, busy enjoying the beer! Actually surprised there are many more posts.

I just love it here! A relax and casual atmosphere. I often pop for a weekend drink by the river. The pizzas are delicious (and affordable!). I always get a lovely, friendly welcome and they are dog friendly too if you are a dog person. Cool temp inside if you are trying to get out of the heat but personally I love being outside by river.

This place is a bit of a find for Staines!! Next to the river, great beer and pizzas, plus they also seem to put on some really good events. Me and some friends have been a few times and have stumbled on a comedy night, a band, and recently a 12-hour dance party complete with DJs and river cleaning! Would recommend a visit...

Love this place. Top location on the river, authentic pub with superb craft beers on tap. The staff are really welcoming and friendly which makes for a relaxing night. Planning to go back with a bunch of friends in June for some live music and pizza.

The perfect spot next to the river for a sunny summer drink. A great atmosphere and lovely selection of drinks. Looking forward to my next visit in a few weeks’ time.

Had a great night at the Last Hop! Great choice of beers! Live DJ's playing some great tunes! Friendly bar staff and great location by the river. I'll definitely be going back!

Great beer, friendly staff. Pizzas are awesome. Been several times now and it never disappoints. Live music, comedy nights, quiz night. This place has it all!
