Wagamama in Spelthorne

Lunch here again, just awesome. Denis served us, charming and professional. Friday we do not eat meat. Asked may we have the Pad Thai with just prawns, he had the noodles and myself the rice. absolutely no problem. You cannot believe how superb this dish is, amazing portions, full of such amazing flavours, and beautifully served. This is our third visit here on a shopping trip to Staines- on -Thames, beginning to suspect we would come here just to sample this fantastic restaurant. Thank you Denis for looking after us so well. Apologise if nn!!

Becky, Louloua, and food were all amazing. We dropped in before going to the cinema. The food was delicious, and the service was great too. Thank you both.

Atmosphere and food was amazing, we were warmly welcomed at the door and looked after by the staff. Just one thing I would like to mention, as we were sitting close to delivery packing area I was quite surprised about one of the manager who was working there. The manager (as one of the team member told me because I asked about her) was chatting, laughing very loudly and flirting with another staff member and didn’t care about customers who are sitting around and could be a bit disturbing while you are trying to have nice dinner with your family on a Saturday evening. I was a bit shocked as I definitely didn’t expect that manager will be acting like that. The lady was tall and had long blond hair and that evening was working in delivery section. I hope this message will be passed to her. Thank you

Hi there ! I would like to share with you my horrible experience with one of your staff member ( girl in black T-shirt with long blond pony tail, I didn’t ask for her name). We were waiting on the queue in Saturday evening and she was dealing with delivery drivers next to us. We heard that conversation between her and one of delivery driver and she was extremely rude to him. Felt so bad for him and I felt very uncomfortable to have a dinner in the place with such a rude staff members as I did t know how they will be dealing with us. Another people in queue noticed that too and when the driver left we decided to leave as well as that situation ruined our evening. Please, speak to your staff members and explain them is not nice to talk to people like that, doesn’t matter if they are customers or drivers or what ever. I like Wagamama and I thought Wagamama has a different way .

I go for quick lunch in friday ,I arrive at the restaurant and I been ignor on door for 10 min ,one blond lady was walking around didn't say a word,after that one guy give me a sit and I try to order straight away because I was in rush , unfortunately my order need to be take by manager because I have nut allergy, after waiting another 10 minutes my order was finally taken and manager introduced her self with name Becky, I explained I am in rush just in my break and want to eat my regular firecracker with coke zero, she got wrong the drink firstly I had wrong regular coke served , after that I need it to get attention of staff that my food was staying on the counter for 5 min and was getting cold then the guy let me know he can't serve the food as was allergies he need a manager and she was somewhere else, he go to call her , she come full of smell of cigarette didn't even wash her hands just through the dish on the table and run away .... never again comin, bad awful service !

Marina's warm welcome and extensive knowledge of the menu greatly contributed to our enjoyable evening. She offered fantastic recommendations and ensured our meal was served promptly and flawlessly. Her dedication to ensuring customer satisfaction was evident throughout our visit. However, regrettably, during my time at the restaurant, I observed a concerning incident involving a manager named Iskra. There were instances where Iskra raised their voice at the staff, which created an uncomfortable atmosphere for both customers and employees. Despite this, Marina's exemplary service shone through, and her positive attitude remained unwavering. Her professionalism in handling the situation was commendable and deserves recognition. I believe that staff like Marina are a true asset to Wagamama, contributing significantly to the restaurant's positive reputation. It's my hope that her dedication and exceptional service are appreciated and acknowledged. Also, the katsu curry and hot pot were delish!

your employee Luisa was absolutely amazing with her service towards us. She was so sweet and lovely and would always ask us if we needed anything and asked whether we were ok with the food. She had such a bright smile on her face and was so welcoming the whole time we were here.

Chilli squid was excellent. Very attentive staff particularly when I said I had an allergy. Very good service but rather noisy for our liking. Would go again

The new cocktails are amazing, would highly recommend the panci with the coconut rum and melon. Sonal was very patient with us and happy to help with our questions.

I went in here with good expectations but sadly my experience wasn’t good I was sat down quickly as it wasn’t busy and ordered a beef ramen and mint tea The ramen came quick to the table and look ok but it was lukewarm and there wasn’t much meat in it for the money they charge they could make it better and hotter I was half way through when my tea arrived which was ok It’s a shame as I have had some nice meals in Wagamama in the past but I won’t return to this one

Absolutely terrible service, ordered through Deliveroo on the app it wouldn’t allow me to ask the restaurant to remove the chicken from their Pad Thai dish as it’s not halal, I called the restaurant directly and I spoke to the manager and he says we are not allowed to remove anything from Deliveroo orders as it’s instructed from their head office. This is the most ridiculous reason I have ever heard because all I asked for was for the chicken to be removed. Thank you for being so considerate. This is the last time I am eating at this restaurant!

You can't go wrong with Wagamama, always buzzing atmosphere and good food. Quick and easy service and enables you to pay directly through the QR code. The restaurant in Staines it's one of my go to when I I stay in the area for leisure or business.

Awful service, came with the family for dinner, but the waiter never introduced herself she was busy running between tables,nor table number to pay later, so we walked out . Management there 2 of them one tall guy walking lazy and not interested in customers just standing and talking with girls and laughing next to bugs I guess it's delivery, I never felt so awful and embarrassed with my family. Therefore there was a young girl I heard her name she introduced herself to her customers her name if I spell correctly Jasmine she was so lovely to their customers I called her to ask about the dish she was very helpful. She was so good at her work, she was smiling and serving and helping others when they call her. Her work was very noticeable. Another lady a bit older who was serving the booths she was super also very busy but looked like could manage a whole restaurant.You can see who is working and who is not. I came with grand daughter for her birthday. I want to make for her some special gift as she never need at Wagamama.This lovely lady came to us introduced herself and we talk about table number and allergy. She took our order, we received drinks and food at the short time. We didn’t tell her it was my granddaughter’s birthday but when we want to pay she noticed her birthday badge she asked if it’s her birthday? When she know that she offer her a free dessert of her choice. We were very much pleased for this offer as this made my granddaughters day. Thank you Marina for this lovely experience. We found the whole experience average this evening. The waiter was friendly but you could tell he didn’t want to be there. The drinks were served in warm glasses and came after the food.
