We went to Turtle Bay for my birthday and Diviya was amazing, it was great service

Visited for drinks only hence why I can't put any stars for food, cocktails were the best I have ever had and already looking forward to my next visit!

Diviya was very good and hospitable and did nice surprise for my sisters birthday

Surprised at how good the food was here! We really enjoyed the Jerk Platter and the various starters. The staff was terrible - they pretty much forgot to wait tables for everyone in the restaurant it seemed. Fun, upbeat decor and loved the Caribbean influenced music in the background.

I visited this place recently and was extremely disappointed with the service. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that customer service was not a priority. I stood at the door for 10 minutes without being greeted or acknowledged so me and my party sat ourselves. Red flag. When I finally got seated, there was a young Indian staff member who seemed more interested in his phone and ordering around his colleagues than helping the team. To make matters worse, the cocktails were weak and I had to get up to collect them from the bar as the team were too busy talking next to the kitchen to bring them over to us. Overall, the experience was frustrating and not worth the money. Next time I’m in Staines I’ll go to Cornelli’s as they do authentic Caribbean food.

It has the look, feel and sound of what you look for in a jerk / Caribbean eat-out. The food itself was also very nice, however the dish that should be one of their main attractions (half chicken jerk) was not available! Had to settle for breast only, but a side of BBQ wings made up for it. Unfortunately though I was there for nearly 2 hours total, which considering I was on my own and only ordered one drink, one main and one side, is ridiculous... Was nearly 30 mins after arriving before they took my order and that includes the drink! The place wasn't even busy. I got the impression they were short-staffed, which if this is the case then it's perhaps understandable.

Beautiful atmosphere, amazing service and the food is delicious. Definitely recommend.

Great drinks, 2 for 1 cocktail happy hour! Food was delicious, we both had curry dishes. The service from barman Keon was excellent!

Lovely food. Prepared in good time. Great cocktails and choice of drinks. The waiters wander around but don’t concentrate on who’s there and how their meals are progressing. Strange, when that’s their job. And a very long wait for some before they even came over to their table to take drinks orders. If they get the service to the required level it would be so much better. But, as it is, they let the chefs and their colleagues down with lack of attention to detail and no follow-up with customers.

Food was DELICIOUS, great value for money, amazing quick service. Big thanks to Gupta who was so lovely and attentive to us! Would highly recommend. X

This review is for Gupta, i have never met a waiter as good at his job as Gupta. He greets me as friend rather than a customer. We have built a good relationship with each other and really pays attention to what i say and want. He even recommends decent food for me when i want a change and never lets me down. He also gets to know me as a person and doesnt just keep it on a customer basis which i find really refreshing. He is the reason i come to turtlebay in staines twice a week and when he is not there i usually go elsewhere. Greatest employee there hands down.

We was looking for a restaurant in Staines for a family dining experience. I'm so glad we chose Turtle Bay. It is a breath of fresh air, the food is great and the staff are fantastic. Kayley was so helpful and attentive, as were all the staff. We will definitely be going back 10/10

Brilliant service. Delicious, flavourful food and the cocktails were strong, fruity and more-ish. I’ll definitely be coming back purely for the service and vibe of the restaurant. The restaurant was spotless and the service was extremely attentive. The toilets were clean and well maintained and the outside area was well lit with bright candles. I will 100% recommend to my friends

Me and my girlies had an absolutely spiffing time at our local turtle bay. We had our annual boozy catch up and Diviyah, our server, was just an absolutely splendid addition to our day. She was polite, lovely, and very prompt...which I'm sure everyone will appreciate with a thing like bottomless brunch. Couldn't recommend the establishment more, especially the waitress Diviyah. Will return!

Best place in Staines by far food is amazing the service is brilliant and all the drinks are so good. Staff are very friendly would definitely recommend.

Joseph was a brilliant server and accommodated our many requests no matter how annoying we were. Checked we were happy with our food, offering more drinks when we had almost finished and sauces when needed. Thanks a lot Joe you really have a great service!

Just visited the restaurant, we waited for a while to be seated to our table even though the restaurant wasn't busy at all. Gupta attended to us, he was very polite and explained the menu to us in detail. We had squid in starter the presentation was not great and it was ok. We ordered jerk Salmon and trini prawn curry, it took half an hour to serve the main course. Eventually the food came, one of the worst food I have ever tasted, the rice and curry was very cold, salmon has no taste just dry fried salmon small piece served with minimal gravy and cold rice. When we gave the feedback to Gupta, he looked quiet shocked and went away but i guess he could not do anything cause the restaurant manager didn't want to take no notice of the negative feedback provided. Not visiting this place again and would not recommend to anyone. Thank you Gupta and look for job elsewhere.

Dropped into Turtle Bay on a Saturday, no reservation. Seated immediately and served by Poppy who was very helpful. Had goat curry and jerk lamb, both were really lovely with real depth of flavour, done perfectly. I could have feasted on the jerk corn on the cob as a side. All in all a really great lunch. Mains were £15-20.
