Turtle Bay in Spelthorne

We walked into an empty restaurant, but the waiter was too busy on his phone to notice us. The barman (presumably his boss) had to alert him to our presence. It was no surprise, that when we were ready to order, the same waiter was on his phone again. Like previously, the barman had to tell him to wait on us. I reiterate, we were the only customers, so god knows how he acts on busy nights. Food and drink were good, but that waiter needs to have his phone confiscated.

Had a great afternoon at the bottomless brunch, such good value , really nice fresh food and the cocktails are some of the best we've had anywhere. The spicy chicken mother clucker burger was great and the yardbird roti just delicious Joe our host was super friendly, quick with his service and always ready to recommend our next drink, he is an absolute credit to Turtle Bay and really made our day!

Great start with a very genuine, friendly welcome and service throughout, especially as this is a place which generally attracts a younger crowd and we are in our sixties! My friend & I both had chicken wraps, generous portions and very tasty. 2-4-1 cocktail -Rum Punch - was really tasty and strong enough you knew there was rum in it! There was a slight issue with one drink which they not only rectified right away but also took the drink cost of the bill without even mentioning it. Very professional.

Went to turtle bay in Staines. Our server Richy was very good and attentive. We came quite late so were able to avail their 2 for 1 cocktails from 9pm until close. The food took a while to come (40 minutes or so) but it was very good when it came. I had the jerk chicken and my husband had the jerk ribs. Both were good. We ordered a side of mac and cheese which we both agree could have been a bit cheesier.

Perfect food, Flawless service as usual. We’ve enjoyed chili squids, mobay chicken and brown chicken and all were delicious with a pint of Red stripe. We’ve been served by Joe and that’s what i call a proper service ! Thank u Joe

Quiet but it was a Monday and we were the only people in at bang on 5pm. Shout out to Roshni for secret birthday service with cake 🙌

The jerk chicken was spicy and flavorful, while the rum cocktails were refreshing and perfectly crafted. The lively atmosphere and friendly staff roshni made our meal even more enjoyable. its a great spot.

Had an amazing bottomless Brunch with the hubby and mates here. Although they appeared to be short staffed, both Sara (our server) and Claudia (the bar person / cocktail maker) did amazing jobs! They really helped make it an amazing experience, so thank you!

Gio and Diviya were fantastic serveurs, very friendly, great costumer service and quick service. The food was great had the Roti chicken as part of the bottomless brunch and highly recommend, both that and the many cocktails they have on offer, especially if you have a sweet tooth.

I really loved our experience in Staines Turtle bay doing bottomless brunch. Gio and Diviya were amazing, very attentive, gave us extra drinks in our table, and were so friendly. The food was also amazing and I can’t tell you about the cocktails they were to die for!! I recommend it and a very must try!

First time trying Caribbean food Crispy Chin Squid is so delicious, especially the sauce makes it very distinctive The second Dumplings were so filling and so crunchy. The last meal was mediocre But Yijianpu is worth a try

This is the 2nd time we’ve visited this restaurant and both times we cannot fault it. The food was incredible and the staff very friendly. Would highly recommend, especially if you like ‘hot’ food!

Gupta was very professional and sweet withing our stay at turtle bay. He provided us with top notch service and made our day. His compasion towards his job makes him stand out.

Been here several times, its never been that good or authentic but just about passable. It has got even worse, we won't be going back again. No matter what you order it is overly seasoned with chilli, not every dish in Caribbean cuisine is pepper hot. The dishes have so much cayenne pepper in they are quite unpleasant to eat. They really need a lesson in Caribbean cooking. The menu is overpriced and service slow, not even the 241 cocktails can save it.

Gupta was the best server! He was really friendly and attentive and looked after us throughout the duration of our visit. Will definitely be back!
