The food is really good, big portions, so unless you could eat a horse, be careful when you order a starter. The night we dined we were the only group and it was very quiet. However, I have been there when it has been packed and the atmosphere is good then.

Visited for a late lunch this afternoon with my Father. Friendly staff and a nice cheery environment. Was VERY impressed with all the food, shocked to see such high quality handmade dishes in today's age. Not to mention the portion sizes and more than fair prices for everything!!! It was amazing and will definitely be back😁

Great value for money. We keep coming back over and over. The portions are veey generous and the food is amazing - price is very very reasonable. Best roast in the area. Always worth coming over.

I had heard how good the roast dinner at the Bell in Shepperton so went along with my friend yesterday. My first roast dinner in this pub, first class food, amazing service, friendly, without a shadow of a doubt, the best Sunday roast I have ever had. The portions were ample, the beef cooked to perfection. I had heard you need to book early, it was my first visit for a roast but I am booking in again in a few weeks. Top marks To the chef and to the staff at The Bell and thank you for a lovely lunch.

Friends invited us out for Sunday lunch and I'm like I've never had roast dinner out that I couldn't make better myself. Well how wrong was I ........absolutely the best roast dinner I have ever had ! The waitresses were all brilliant and customers very friendly. I would not hesitate to go back .

Hands down the worst pub garden in the area. What an absolute waste of potential. Customers rearranging broken tables/chairs to make some form of safe seating and failing miserably due to the poor standards. Just a couple of decent tables by the rear door. Broken umbrellas everywhere. No care. Whoever runs it has clearly given up hope! Friendly staff though.

We were looking for a top notch Sunday roast and The Bell Inn did not disappoint. The food was fabulous and plentiful, and my meat was cooked to perfection. The staff are very friendly and helpful, not in your face but do not leave you for too long. There is a nice sized garden which backs onto a meadow so there's a nice view, and they had some large round tables to sit 6-8 which you don't get very often. I'm already looking forward to going again!

We had our wedding lunch here on Friday. We wanted a seafood platter, plus other things. They were amazing. We went with the chef to choose our seafood in advance and it was cooked to perfection. It was amazing. My friend who was vegetarian said she had the best meal in a pub ever. The other 2 who didn't eat seafood said it was delicious. I can't thank Sean the chef, Gerry the landlord and the lovely ladies serving enough for making our day perfect x

First time visiting today for my partner Clive and I at the Bell inn. What a pleasant surprise! The food was top notch (we both had roast lamb with all the trimmings) the portions were very generous indeed. The owner was very welcoming and pleasant as were the staff. I would highly recommend this privately owned little pub at the heart of the community.

Fantastic pub. Myself and my wife were over in the area for a weekend and were looking for a cosy pub with good food on a Saturday afternoon. Well we definitely found that along with wonderful staff and friendly locals. We had the chicken pie and burger. Huge portions, washed down with a lovely ale. Good prices too Angie working there is from Ireland and we chatted for a bit about Cork. It's a really nice pub inside too Don't hesitate for a second, make your way there and you certainly won't regret it.

Best Sunday roast I’ve had in years. Decent portions, perfectly cooked meat and veg. Served with a Smile 😃. Really great value for money. Recommended. Warning, book in advance, it’s super popular. Now I know why.

The food was absolutely delicious. I had the pie of the day (chicken and pancetta) served with a delicious mash and a selection of vegetables. Very tasty and the portion was quite generous too! Love it and will definitely go back again

Held a party for 40 people with buffet on Saturday and couldn’t fault it. The food was amazing, the room was the perfect size, the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Absolutely lovely little gem where we have walked passed plenty of times before finally popping in for a look and a few drinks. Super welcoming staff and good old community atmosphere. The food around us looked amazing and will definitely be back for that.

Sunday Lunch - was gorgeous and so plentiful, portions very large thankgod for the smaller portions. The lunch itself was top notch and the gravy is wonderful - really enjoyed it back this weekend. Dogs welcome. Very friendly staff can not do enough for you - a MUST to try.

Very, very friendly staff. Portions fantastic and they were the best chips I've had for years, hot and crispy. It's in the middle of an estate and from the outside it doesn't look much but it was an excellent meal.

This was our first visit for a Sunday lunch following a recommendation from friends. We had to book 2 weeks in advance which was a good sign and our expectations were high. These were surprisingly exceeded and we shall definitely be returning. All the staff were extremely friendly, hard working and attentive. The quality of the food was very high and plenty of it. We all had starters and struggled to finish our main courses. It has a lovely garden at the rear, where we chose to eat. It was very popular and considering it’s tucked away location, that says it all.

Didn’t enjoy the food as much as I would like to and disliked it all even the bottom of my pudding as it was chunky and cold.the outside wasn’t that child friendly and looked dull.I enjoyed the friendly servers as they were kind to the children. the price was not worth the meal though and I don’t know what to recommend but they gave free mint chocolate coins and a lovely goodbye telling me the chef thought my meal overall was weird though I got a meal on the menu. a beef roast with a menu pudding crème bruele.I got a coke though for some reasonit burnt my Throat.

Roasts are the best around! Literally! But not many outside seating only a few tables but was a great Sunday lunch! Will be returning!

Amazing food, lovely garden, pleasant staff

Just been to The Bell for lunch for the first time and what a pleasant surprise. It wasn't busy but we were welcomed warmly. It was a bit chilly so we sat inside, but they have a very large, lovely patio and garden perfect for relaxing in the summer. But the real surprise was the food. I must admit I didn't have too high hopes, but wow!!! Probably one of the best burgers I have ever had. Obviously homemade and meaty burger, crispy bacon and just the right amount of cheese. Served with amazing crispy, chunky chips and a nice salad. My friend had the scampi and chips and he said it was equally as good. Just one warning ... take your appetite with you because the portions are extremely generous.

Omg! We spent the night away from London and then decided to treat ourselves to Sunday Roast before we were meant to take the train back. Best decision of our lives! Roast was the best we've ever had, we tried the pork belly and it was stunningly delicious, potatoes cooked to perfection (which many placed this days miss), the vegetables quantity was abundant and the meat was.. No words for it, delicious! Would definitely recoment, cozy typical pub and friendly welcoming staff. We managed to snag a table but do consider booking as otherwise you might miss it!!

Table of 6 adults. Plenty of space, bar, conservatory and garden. Plenty of choice in the menu, reasonable prices, super size portions, hot and well presented. Staff all helpful and reasonably attentive.

We celebrated my wife's 60th birthday at the Bell with a large group of friends and family. Shawn, the chef, came up with an excellent menu with plenty of choice for everyone. On the day, the team at the pub did us proud. The food and the service were really superb (the portion sizes are huge and everything was served piping hot). The serving team were all so friendly, welcoming and really efficient and the room at the back of the pub was the perfect place for a group celebration.

First time in this pub ...great Sunday dinner which my friends had ,myself I had lasgane which was delicious will certainly be visiting again....

Turned up with my 4yr daughter. Looked a bit dodge from the outside. Once inside is actually quite lovely. There's a large dining area, food is quite good and the portions are massive. Landlady is an absolute delight, deffo will be going back.

Booked the back restaurant and gardens for my mum's after funeral wake 4-7pm. Excellent buffet with both hot and cold food (savory). Provided our own sweet. Garden lovely plenty of seating. Updated 3 years on and sadly my dad passed- used the Bell again excellent service 👏

Good old fashioned hospitality to be found here! Great selection of drinks and friendly locals. Highly recommended foe Sunday lunch.

Unpretentious pub, a little off the beaten track. Don't let that put you off. It's worth seeking out. We were there on a midweek afternoon, and was very impressed with this establishment. The barman Dave , deserves special mention, treating myself and my Autistic son with dignity and respect. The beer was tip top and the food excellent . Very resonable prices for this neck of the woods. Well worth a visit.

Stopped here off the cuff for some lunch ..very cute traditional pub staff were friendly and the food was delicious..the garden at the back was so lovely, lots of tables and umbrellas overlooking fields.. (and a beautiful little grape vine pergola)

Great little pub and has lovely outdoor area. We went for mum's birthday and the portion sizes were amazing....wow you definitely do not need to eat for a few days before hand. The choices were great too and all were very friendly staff and locals in the pub. Parking on the road so all good for that too. We will be back in the autumn again I am sure.

We looked at this pub for a party venu. The room at the back was a good size, easily seating 30 people. The head chef was really friendly and went through all the buffet options with me. Very generous in what you get for what you pay. Definitely a great location for a event. Garden looked lovely and the newly fitted kitchen looked immaculate!

A well liked pub used by the locals. Quite busy at Sunday lunch time for Roast dinners. It is advisable to book if having Sunday lunch. Keg beer range ok London Pride and Youngs Best on Hand pump.

Brilliant pub, great atmosphere, fabulous food, dog friendly and a great landlord, what more can you ask for. This is a real traditional pub not a trendy wine bar, a proper local.

On 14 December 2021 I was one of a group of 20 enjoying a three-course Christmas lunch. The food was mouth-wateringly wonderful, chosen (pre-booked) from an excellent varied menu. The service was friendly and efficient. It was a lovely afternoon experience.

Went for lunch with a group of 14 and was excellent. The food was fantastic and HUGE portions and plenty of vegetables. We had the Christmas meal and couldn’t manage it all. Would recommend this pub to everyone. Well done all at The Bell.

Held my late mother's wake here, very attentive and friendly staff, excellent food provided by shaun the chef. Great range of beers & spirits, and tea/ coffee for non drinkers. Nothing was a problem for the staff.

We were recommended this little pub by a friend who said the roasts were amazing, just like you’d have at home….. well she wasn’t lying! Huge portions of delicious, perfectly cooked meat, a great selection of vegetables and scrummy cauliflower cheese. The staff were really lovely and attentive and the surroundings were really nice. Lovely traditional pub. Large outdoor seating. Gave 4 stars as they don't offer alcohol free wine or beer. The only pub I have encountered in the area that doesn't..when asked the locals asked why come to a pub!!
