We had noticed this hidden coffee shop before but only been for a coffee and decided it would be a good idea to try it for a light lunch. We both ordered quiche and salad which was delicious and the portion was generous. My only small complaint is that it was served on a side plate which made it tricky to maneouvre without the salad falling off the plate. I had an Americano afterwards which was nicely presented and the right strength for me but would have preferred a choice of sugar as prefer brown, demerra sugar to white sugar. The coffee shop has a lovely ambience and makes a refreshing change from the number of chain coffee shops that have sprung up in the area. The prices are very reasonable and good value for money. My only other small comment is that the telephone number listed on the website is not always answered. We rung several times to check if it was open and to see if we needed to book a table for a light lunch but could not get hold of anyone. We assumed it must be closed and were going to book a table at the local pub but popped past on the offchance to discover they were indeed open. Overall, though a very positive experience and would eat there again.

Booked a table for catch up with some friends. Hand sanitizer at entrance and contact details needed for track and trace. One way system for in/out implemented So felt confident with safety in mind. Good choice of breakfast/cakes /coffee etc. Although busy we were not pressurised into leaving immediately after our 1 hour 30min (allocated slot) had expired. Very good value compared to other coffee venues locally and nice homely decor.

Very cosy place. Food was good and people very friendly. The view is very beautiful as i spent many years playing here. Although all the cricket buildings and tennis court have long gone. Even had a photo on the wall of my grandad.

A lovely place to eat lunch and enjoy a coffee

Really friendly and welcoming staff and a good selection of sandwiches, baguettes, cakes and hot drinks. Another table came in for afternoon tea and it looked lovely and there was fantastic attention to detail in the table presentation, making it really special. I happily sat and worked for a few hours, enjoying the food and great service.

Got there for 9:30 and there was only one other person with us. We ordered 3 orange juices and 1 coffee, a kids fry up and 3 samall fry ups and it cans to around £20 the smalls were 3.95 and the kids 2.95 a small cake with enough to make a adult full. All in all a good experience. You did have to go up to the bar and order but food came in 20-30 mins.

My husband and I popped in for breakfast yesterday. I had a small and my husband a large breakfast and it really was. The food was delicious.The coffee shop it's self is beautifully clean. The huband and wife team were very welcoming and service also excellent. We didn't know it was there and it was recommended to us. Give it a try you will be pleased I am sure.

Travelled over half an hour to eat at this cafe and was very happy with service and the food. The full English was of generous proportions and excellent quality. The cafe had a friendly atmosphere too. My family and I highly recommend this superb cafe.

Had a Full English which included 2 x bacon, 2 x sausage, 2 x fried eggs, baked beans, mushrooms, tomato, toast x 2, pot of tea. 6.95 pounds the lot - bargain!

Friendly welcome and service, skinny full English was good but a little well done for my liking. Would definitely visit again, maybe for an afternoon tea and slice of very tempting cake. So we popped in again today and the refurb is very nice and good to see it is busy and doing well. Everything is as good as previous visits and is local gem well worth supporting.

Service vaguely slow, but food was amazing. I feel bad for the people after us as we managed to get the last bacon rolls.

My friend and we’re advised to try Cavo’s cafe for a delicious breakfast. And we weren’t disappointed. Lovely cottage type decor, and very friendly and obliging staff. And a huge delicious breakfast. The selection of cakes were “to die” for. We will certainly be regular visitors here. Try it, You will love it...

My neighbors and I have had many lovely coffees and bacon rolls here. The staff are friendly and the service great.

We visited soon after Cavos first opened and found it to be very poor. Some friends were singing its praises recently and so we thought we would give it another chance yesterday. Big mistake! Only four tables occupied but 40 mins to get food. I ordered small Slimmers breakfast and a full English turned up. I was given a refund but then thought I would have a scone and butter. Scone great but not convinced it was butter; tasted and looked like marg. On the house would have been good but charged £2.50. My husband again found the quality of the food, particularly the meat, to be very poor and left most of it. The original bill for two breakfasts and lattes (coffee good) was just over £14 - you could get much better quality food for same price at garden centre in Sunbury or cheaper with fab customer service in Shepperton. The man serving was very apologetic for mix-up and delay and I did feel sorry for him. However, the owner popped in for ten minutes but either did not notice of problems or did not take ownership of them. There won’t be a third chance.

Being on my own I eat at Cavo’s most days either breakfast or lunch and I am never disappointed the hole experience is mind blowing not only with the food but also the staff and the service. A wonderful tea house that gives you more.

Nice Italian cafe, but the staff are not so friendly, some times sharp. Yeah I don't drink coffee sorry lady that is my choice. London ways are different it seems.

Their quiche salad is perfection and their scone with cream and jam took me to heaven! Worth a visit, great food, good prices.

After reading good pointers on nextdoor I didn't realise this place existed right on our backdoor. Nice and friendly family run coffee shop plus more, cosy and not fussy. Quite busy at school fall out times with good parking. Will go more often if not just to keep such gems viable. Well worth a visit with elderly and all ages!

We went here for breakfast, and a had a nice sausage buttie at an outside table. We weren't suire what time they served breakfast until, so made sure we got there before 11am. Forgot to ask, so still not sure. Would go back again, especially on a sunny day to sit outside. Pleasant 15 mins walk from the nearby campsite where we were staying.

Great food at great prices, just right for breakfast and lunch, cakes, tea and coffee and much more. Good location, overlooking a big field for kids and dogs, free parking. Would highly recommend and re visit.

Tucked away on the Laleham recreation ground, this coffee shop serves beverages, snacks, cakes, sandwiches, and offers a fantastic breakfast service from Monday to Friday. Very popular with locals and dog walkers, huge grassy areas for children to run around on a nice day. Plenty of parking, Everything reasonably priced,worth a visit.

Brilliant Experience, the staff are extremely friendly whilst always making sure you have what you want when you want it. All the food they serve is out of this world, everything bought in fresh and the sausages that come with the breakfast are outstanding. Will definitely be returning and I will be telling lots of my friends to try it out. 😉

Little gem, definitely going again

Drove past this coffee shop and decided to take a look. The place is in a football clubhouse. When we entered we were surprised how lovely the tables were set out. The coffee was excellent. The Cake choice was plentiful. we decided to have a Sandwich and cake. Both were excellent. The young man who served us was most helpful. Although they don't do hot lunches, we were more than happy to stay as we were well looked after. The lady who was working there was also very friendly. An ideal place to rest for walkers as it is so near the river Thames. We will return.

Great coffee and cooked breakfasts. The best Village Café around. I take family and friends and also hold small meetings there. The staff are great and the cakes fantastic too.

I have been here three times now with friends and have enjoyed each visit. Went for lunch today and was pleased to see it was busy. We all enjoyed our rolls and tea/coffee and will definitely be back. Nice atmosphere and good service. Makes a nice change to have an independent, family run coffee shop nearby

I visited Cavo’s with my brother as we had popped there for some tasty lunch. When we arrived we were greeted by a handsome young lad who helped us decide what’s we fancied to eat. I ordered a cheese baguette and my brother a tomato soup along with a hot chocolate which I must say is the best hot choc I’ve ever tasted! The service was great and we didn’t have to wait long, I’m a fussy eater so just being able to have a plain cheese baguette was perfect, I also couldn’t help but steal some of my brothers soup as the presentation on the plate and the taste was amazing. Will definitely be returning to Cavo’s!

I have visited regularly after school with my children for gorgeous hot chocolates and yummy cakes and had a breakfast today for the first time, an absolute bargain for a full brekkie and refills of tea. So tasty and piping hot which makes a change from garden centre breakfasts! I even got to watch the news and chill out for a while.. Well worth a visit.

Loved it, knocked spots off of Notcutts, reasonable prices, great food, coffee and cakes, can't go wrong, very helpful young man behind the counter and I think his Mum in the kitchen. Superb location overlooking a playing field, cant wait for the summer and to sit outside. What a hidden gem, you'll find it down a lane opposite the Turks head pub, for those of you who don't know the area. I have visited twice and had breakfast and lunch, both amazing, will go back and do recommend, good luck Cavo's, see you again soon.

My family and I have been visiting Cavo’s cafe in Laleham since it opened in 2017. As a grandparent it is a great place to take the grandchildren and everyday after school they say can we please go to cavo’s for cookies. This place reminds me of the old fashion tea houses that As a youngster I use to visit. Lovely afternoon teas

Popped in for breakfast with two friends this morning. Having heard from people how good it was here. Made very welcome and had a delicious breakfast with “free” refill coffee! The cafe is warm and well set out. Nothing was too much trouble for our waitress. It’s so nice to have a comfortable relaxed meal. And on leaving we were amazed at the array of delicious looking cakes.....We will certainly be returning to this little “oasis” in the very near future.......Highly recommended....

Had a very pleasant satisfying afternoon tea here with a couple of friends.... atmosphere was warm & cosy. Perfect for coffee, cake & a catch-up .... looking forward to the Spring/Summer with its perfect setting & outdoor area.

I visited in December and was pleasantly surprised with this little tucked away gem in Laleham! I ordered a full English breakfast which was cooked to order as I can be quite fussy, by the lovely young gentleman on arrival and also ordered a latte (not too strong!) just how I like it. The prices were very reasonable in comparison to the extortionate prices at Notcutts garden centre which is 5 minutes away. The coffee shop was clean and tidy and staff pleasant and attentive but not overly when it gets too much! There was music on in the background which was nice to hear rather than most places where your sitting in silence or having no choice but to listen to other peoples conversations. I was actually here working at the time on my laptop and did not find this a distraction whatsoever, but each to there own. I would highly recommend this coffee shop and Will definitely be returning! Well done, this is a breath of fresh air rather than your average franchise/chain that get everywhere nowadays.

Had been recommended to Cavo’s by friends and thought we’d give it a try. Very warm welcome from Ollie behind the counter and the menu etc was fully explained. Opted for one small breakfast and one large. Both individually cooked and served with buttered toast and tea or coffee included. Nicely cooked and presented. Coffee shop was clean and tidy and nicely decorated. Will certainly recommend to family and friends and will visit again although I may just have a small breakfast next time!

Saw this advertised on Facebook with glowing reviews so my husband and I went for breakfast. Pleasant young chap serving, Weak lattes and cheap white bread. They had run out of sausages but offered double bacon instead. We asked for bacon well done but cook clearly took no notice. Our type of music playing but too loud for size of room. Disappointed after hype and will not bother again.

Had an amazing breakfast this morning. So many choices at great prices. Very welcoming. Highly recommend cavo's
