We heard that this lovely pub had changed to offering Chinese cuisine so we gave it a try. We were not disappointed at all. Lovely food in a lovely place with wonderful, friendly service. I am already looking forward to going back!
Nice cafe just off the shopping centre by the cinema.
There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.
The service was quick and efficient.
Bagel was lovely 😍

We made an order asked for little amount of sauce they said they read it wrong and put loads on there it was swimming we rang they said sorry and said they would replace it they then never picked up the phone or replaced the food after it was inedible . go Didcot kebab better food and faster service
My friend and I visited for lunch. We’re both vegetarian and they had several options to choose from. Food was delicious, and the service was very friendly and welcoming. Can’t wait to come back again 😊
Best Sunday Roast for miles! What a fabulous roast we all had at the Crown - couldn’t fault a thing. The meat (we had the lamb, pork and beef) was perfect - succulent and thinly sliced, and a lovely selection of vegetables both on the plate and to share. The option of a smaller portion at a very good price (which I think only lost one roast potato and slightly less meat) was really welcome as then we had room for puddings which were just delicious! We will be back!
Absolutely Superb food. Everything is cooked from the freshest ingredients. Been going there for several years and it never stops being the best food to be found anywhere. Delightful simple tiny pub where everything is done with integrity.
The worst roast I have ever had!! I took my mum out for Mother’s Day and first of all we were greeted with the below message. It was a set menu of 3 courses for £35 and the whole meal was tasteless. The prawn cocktail was vinegary, the roast beef was tasteless and tuff like old boots! Cauliflower cheese was mushy/very over cooked and the gravy with the rest of the roast vegetables had no flavour. For desert we all had crumble with ice cream and the crumble was inedible with burnt/black bits in it. The service and atmosphere were none existent and the whole experience was very disappointing. Overall I wouldn’t recommend the New Inn pub!
