Indian Restaurant in South Oxfordshire

The food was 30 minutes late, and upon delivery, it looked unappetizing. The chicken appeared as if it had been left out in the rain and is inedible. I've never seen "crispy chicken" look this soggy for from condesenation. Absolutely unacceptable!!! Find somewhere else to eat....

We came here to eat at the restaurant. The food was good, I'd say 4/5, but there were a lot of things that we found disappointing. The service was quite poor, it was almost a privilege to get some attention, and when you did the staff almost seemed surprised that were asking for something. The cutlery was blunt, making it almost impossible to cut through a roast beef dinner, the roast potatoes were quite underdone. We booked a table for 5 and only had 3 place settings, having to ask for the place settings to actually be made by the time the mains arrived (nothing given for starters).....really needs some improvement on the service side!

Always great food, and great service but £200 for a bit of coleslaw on a kebab is slightly expensive outside of London

I and the rest of my group had a really lovely time. The service was very good and the food beautifully cooked. I would certainly recommend The Red Lion to all my friends and wouldn't hesitate to go again.

I went back again and really had a great time. Solo this time. Rack of lamb with mushrooms and wine Zuchotto. Seriously I would go just for the dessert. Shame they don't do any fancy cocktails .
