Nice cafe just off the shopping centre by the cinema. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The service was quick and efficient. Bagel was lovely 😍

The Cafe Bar is often a nice place to sit, if you pick the right time. It can be more like a creche than a café. The cakes aren't as good as they used to be and my coffee today was half a glass of flat white. I prefer a cup, and a full one would be good. This please could be very easily improved.

Extremely slow service, and the manner of the barista serving (Sunday morning), was unfriendly. I felt demeaned over an error with my order - and as if he wanted to pointedly make it clear that this was my fault (when he had forgotten the extra request), and that he was irritated by it. Overall, an unpleasant exchange that left a lingering bad feeling.

Popped in for coffee and cake but decided to have lunch when we read the menu. Great variety of bagels! I had the New Yorker, which I highly recommend and my friend had the avocado and feta which was also freshly made, tasty and highly enjoyable. The staff were friendly and service was good. Will definitely be my go to next time I'm in Didcot. The coffee cake was delicious too!!

Great atmosphere made possible by the wonderful jazz duet performance that happens the last Friday of the month, 5 to 7 p.m. The centre staff are friendly but the cafe service is not a highlight. It's a good place to visit, but it could be a great place.

Went in for an ice cream, it was £2.80 for a scoop which was absolutely tiny and was served in a glass. I wanted to cry at the tiny portion. I was going to have it in a cone but didn’t like the server not using gloves and moving the cone all over the counter.

Turkey and cheese bagel was very tasty and fresh. Good choice of teas and coffees - Americana was good, though a 'regular' size is not very big. Comfy seats and tables, though not a lot - would imagine it gets busy when there's a performance in the theatre. Toys available for children. Staff were very friendly and service was quick. Outdoor tables if wanted.

When choosing a table I immediately noticed that the tables were dirty. We ordered tea coffee and cake. The espresso martini cake looked so good but was dry, however I was still able to eat it so it wasn’t terrible. The milk for my tea came in a dirty container, I looked inside and could see bits on the side, then what looked like a tiny piece of Lavender came out when I poured some milk. Staff were pleasant and there was lots of choice of teas as well as gluten free options.

Excellent coffee, friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, shame it doesn't open a bit later, but I'm sure there are good reasons for this. Dairy free alternatives are available for those who'd prefer a plant-based latte. Baked offerings are many and varied, from a humble flapjack to a vegan chocolate cake, and all rather good, I do wish they'd stop hiding them an hour or more before closing time though! On the food front I've only tried the cheese and mushroom toastie, but can certainly recommend it, must give the soup a go sometime.

Pop in regularly now that "the music box" has moved here from Wallingford. Seems very popular with young mum's and their offspring , maybe this is due to the children's toy area and play equipment. Nice Coffee and a super "Ham & Cheese" toasty.

Very polite staff , but very slow to serve . I was the only person waiting and it took 10 minutes for 1 tea and 1 coffee and 1 slice of cake . About the cake . They had 2 nice slices left , so I decided to have a slice . They the person serving me cut the slice in half !!!!! leaving a tiny slice (False advertising me thinks , Please show the size of slice you are getting !!!!!) Coffee and tea + cake all nice , but very expensive .

Nourish has a wide selection of teas and cakes, some of which are flourless and all look delicious! The tea (priced £2.30) is brewed from tea leaves so it is pretty strong and there is some residue left in the cup. The chairs are very low and it was busy so there was a lack of free tables. I couldn’t find a bin anywhere and toilets could have been sign posted better. I felt the place lacked a warm atmosphere

Lovely find on a hot day at top of hill after ghastly Thames Travel over hot bus ride. (Late and slat windows on empty top deck only opening a chink) Rest of the food so so looking average. We attended a sold out comedy gig at the Cornerstone. Previously, the organisation of the bar has been shambolic to say the least however the staff at Nourish have improved 100%. Their service at the bar was quick, efficient and really friendly. We were kept informed of the chance to pre-order interval drinks and given a form to do so. Then during the interval all the drinks were waiting for us with a very friendly man making himself heard to let us know where our drinks were. Fantastic night of comedy made even better by the staff of Nourish. Thank you.

I often come in for a quick coffee after shopping - 'quick' isn't really the word though. I used to think the perfectly nice and friendly staff were volunteers, so hesitant and non-urgent was their service, but I gather this isn't the case. It really ought not to take nearly ten minutes to get served with a coffee if there's only a queue of about three people, yet it does, almost every time. Coffee is perfectly good, but small cups and often lukewarm.

Been here quite a few times and really like the chilled out atmosphere, feel like you can be there as long as you want. They always have unusual cakes and the ones I've tried have been tasty and fresh (and you get big slices!) The coffee is good although a bit expensive for the size. They also do some nice lunch options including veggie stuff. The staff are always friendly. Prefer going here than anywhere else in the Orchard Centre.

We had lunch here. The lunch menu is promising, a good range with something for everyone. This has a 5 on scores for the doors which is always good, but I don't think it lived up to that on this particular day as the tables weren't clean. Maybe on a less busy day? Worth a look.

The café at Cornerstone has passed through a few hands since the venue opened, but has now been brought in-house. The menu is modest--don't expect Steak Diane, Coquilles St. Jacques, or Fillet Mignon. The menu is simple but is building. The café offers a modest selection of wines, spirits, and soft drinks suitable for a café, not for a Three-Star restaurant. Yet, the venue is comfortable, good for individuals, groups, and small meetings. I've been going to the cafë, under its various names and managements, have seen the changes, have eaten under them all, and still do. It suits me well.

Este pequeño restaurante es gestionado por una empresa privada y el menú es muy limitado. The cafe is a great addition to the theatre. They do snacks and light meals through the day - wide range of nice cakes! They also have a good range of beer and wine for the evening - and the venue is very happy for you to take drinks into the theatre with you. In the summer, they have an area outside with tables - lovely in good weather.Once a month on a Thursday evening they do "Comedy & curry" - excellent idea. I had beef curry, which was good value. If you come for this, however, wise to call in advance and book a table as it is very popular. If you found this review useful, please "like"!

Arrived just after 1pm as we were seeing a show in the same venue at 2pm. Plenty of time for a sandwich and a drink - or so you'd think! We ordered 2 hot sandwiches and 2 children's sandwiches at 1.15pm. After waiting for half an hour we chased up the food and they said it would be ready in 10 mins, ie at 1.55. I said that was no good as the show started at 2. The waitress replied that they hadn't known we were going to a show - as if it was our fault for not giving them notice! This is a theatre café, for goodness' sake. I cancelled the hot sandwiches and got a refund. They brought out the children's sandwiches at 1.50pm and the children got a few hurried mouthfuls before we had to go in to the show. We weren't allowed to take food into the theatre so I had to wrap the rest up and stick it in my handbag. Clearly, we would have been much better off having lunch at home beforehand - at least my husband and I would have got something to eat! Disastrous visit - management needs to sort this out.

Ordered two sandwiches and drinks here the other day for lunch. Hot chocolate with cream was very nice. Cheese and ham toastie was okay, however they got my other order (a chicken, bacon and mayo sandwich with no salad) wrong twice! First it came out as a toastie, secondly it came out with no mayo and tomato! By the time they brought out the right sandwich it was crammed full with a strange tasting mayonnaise and I'd already finished my drink.Prices quite expensive for the basic food.

Couldn't have been worse.I ordered one soup of the day , one sausage sandwich a large coffee and a pot of tea . When we received it I got a small coffee a pot of tea and just the sausage sandwich. So I pointed out that the order was wrong . Then they just brought over a large coffee (still no soup!) My wife finished her sandwich and the waitress came over with our drinks order again ! And took them away realising that we had them . Still no soup . After asking for it for 3 times I'd given up ! There was about 6 staff working behind the bar and they seemed very busy doing nothing and gossiping about what they did last night ! I used to use the Cornerstone 3-4 times a month . But after this fiasco, it will be quite a while before I return . Very very poor cornerstone. Must try harder .

The sandwiches were nice, smoked salmon & club, but the soup had all the allure of a reduced tin of tomatoes served volcanically hot. Service was pleasant enough but a half hour wait when only 3 tables occupied felt excessive, and please tell me I've to collect cutlery & condiments when I order not when you serve the plates.

This café is situated in the right place for shoppers or quick business meetings over a coffee. It is easy to find and parking (free for 2 hours) is close by. Drinks are in my opinion a little near the top end of the price range, but this is a minor complaint. For business meetings held at the various meeting rooms in the Corner Stone it is a welcome break between sessions. I understand that members of the Corner Stone receive a discounted rate for food and drinks!

There were few people in the café but we had to wait ages for a sandwich and Panini - the serving staff seemed disinterested and disengaged and made some vague excuse about the kitchens being busy catering for a meeting. The stilton and mushroom Panini was fantastic, the bread used for the prawn sandwich was hard and unfresh. Very disappointing especially as we had been there a few days earlier for an excellent meal.

All credit to Cafe at Cornerstone, where there are positive reviews for this modern bar/cafe serving good coffee and sandwiches, for trying something different. Valentines day 3 courses with a champagne cocktail and pianist proved to be a pleasant evening. The food and service was well worth it and a busy large table livened up the evening. Not the greatest lover of the stark modern style, maybe the addition of a few plants might soften the room a little?Might have been a little too quiet without this additional table, but well done! The room is bright and quite spacious, and despite it being relatively busy the venue was quite calm. There is are a mix of normal tables and high bar stools. Service was prompt - you have to order drinks/food at the bar and they then deliver it to your table. In my two visits I found the sandwiches quite good, accompanied by salad and crisps. The coffee was less impressive, with a cafe latte tasting very much like vending machine output.

It is simply not as good as it used to be. For the second time in as many months we had the most appalling service and stale cakes. The staff were unbelievably slow and they did not pay attention to our order. Only half the order was delivered and we had to remind them about the rest. More than that, they did not have some of the items advertised on special. There was no coronation chicken and no jacket potatoes. Having had 2 similar experiences recently, we will not be returning.
