Lovely visit with a friend to sit out and have coffee during Bunkfest. Unbelievable rudeness from another customer towards the staff who were gracious and tolerant where to eject him would have been entirely appropriate and reasonable. Instead they returned his money as an act of goodwill. Everyone who witnessed this was appalled by how awful he was. Such a lovely cafe!

We came to do a charity walk and stayed in the family room. It was comfortable and a good size for 4 of us. We also enjoyed the breakfast and the staff were very friendly. Only downside was that there were quite a few flies in our room and a maggot in the shower. We did inform staff so I am sure it will be sorted.

The best afternoon tea around! I have been several times for afternoon tea and have also had the soups, Quiches and sausage roll, everything is amazing! The tearoom is such s beautiful room! It is a must if you are visiting Wallingford I feel very lucky to live around the corner from this lovely place.

Date night with my husband, the food was delicious, the salt and pepper squid and scallops were so tasty, as were our mussels and perfectly cooked steak (surf and turf). Would also recommend the cucumber wasabi martini. Great service too. Thank you for a lovely evening.

We went to watch a band at Bunkfest. Clean well maintained pub and garden. Polite and fast service. We didn't order food, but menu looked good and well priced.

Lovely friendly welcome. I had liver and bacon with mash and onion gravy and it was amazing, took me right back to very fond childhood memories. The pub itself is full of character. the landlord was very welcoming and does an amazing job with the beautiful display of hanging baskets which adorn the building. I would highly recommend, we will definitely be making regular visits.
