Great pint great excellent service

The staff are excellent. They know their stuff, always serve with a happy face. Had a great time and a good selection of beer and cocktails. Nice ambience and a takeaway next door. What’s not to like.

I’ve enjoyed so many fantastic nights out here in Wallingford. They always ensure people get home safely, adapt the cocktail recipes to taste and care about clients and their experiences. Definitely visit it if you’re in the area. It made our holiday.

Visited at 19:00 Monday 29 April. No greeting or any acknowledgement from the girl behind the bar who was fiddling with something which was more important than us. Read the menus, looked at the decorations, walked around. And left. Most disappointing. Repaired to the Dolphin and were greeted by the barman before we could get through the door.

Busy bar with very good beer, wine and cocktails. Would recommend to anyone visiting or passing through.

It's between the keep and the cross keys for the only really decent bars in Wallingford. Super nice staff and great selection of proper ales/IPA and Gins. Nice clients all good

Always buzzing. Gins, cocktails and hipster beers. Moving more towards the beer and away from the gin bar feel which is a little disappointing

Decided to pop in one evening had a couple glasses of wine Young Girl behind the counter who was very new he was very friendly very helpful and the wine tasted marvellous definitely will return

Fantastic little bar with a great selection of gins, 9 beers on tap showcasing local, craft and some larger names to keep everyone happy + a load more well chosen cans in the fridge. Whether kicking back in a wingback chair, popping in to watch a game on the big projection screen or admiring the wall of dogs it’s a lovely place to spend a few hours

Monday nights are quiet but this little gem is welcoming and boast a wholesome range of craft beer to exotic spirits. Comfortably cozy with a warm atmosphere to relax in. Dogs welcome and may have their photo taken and added to the picture board 🤗

Stayed in Wallingford recently while on business and found myself looking for somewhere to enjoy an aprés work drink. I'm not a big fan of traditional cask ales (served by most pubs in the area), instead preferring a craft beer to quench my thirst. So I was delighted to come across The Keep Bar. Stumbling in just before 10pm, I took a seat at the bar and was provided with a warm welcome by Rob (co-owner of the bar). Rob's enthusiasm and knowledge of craft beers was evident as he patiently talked me through their excellent selection of draught and canned craft beers. They also stock a large variety of spirits (including some unique rums and gins....including a fantastic gin that they distill themselves!) Unfortunately, due to my late start (and reluctantly needing to let Rob close the bar!), I headed back to my hotel....wishing I had had the opportunity to get in earlier and sample more of the great range of drinks! The Keep Bar is a great addition to Wallingford's selection of pubs, and I would highly recommend a visit (whether you're an existing craft beer drinker, or just curious to sample some unique brews!) A warm welcome and atmosphere is assured!

Always good craic here. Owners are really knowledgeable and chatty and make a *damn* fine cocktail.

A great time is always had at the Keep, whether its out as a couple, celebrating with friends or during the end of season fancy dress Fines Night. Can highly recommend Glas Wee Gin with Elderflower tonic.

Nice little place, great selection of craft beers. DEYA VERDANT etc. Good music and atmosphere, friendly staff too. Glad we found it when passing through.

Also doubles as a wine bar. Friendly and efficient staff. Good range of real ales.

A smashing bottle shop. Superb range of beer (you won't find commercial beers here) and truly knowledgeable staff to guide you through their range. Great gin selection (again with really good guidance) and some nice local wines. Best rum collection I've seen outside city shops - is rum going to be the next gin? A little scant on whisky, whiskey, brandy etc but it's a bijou space so I think it's fair, I would love to see a humidor some time as getting a good cigar in this area is impossible!

Sam and Rob have a great selection of unusual and delicious beers and spirits. They're always willing to offer some friendly advice too.

Sadly the Keep is no longer a bar and now an Off Licence, It is however a very good one. A really good selection of craft beers and gins are available, their own branded gin being one of them.

Great selection and beer knowledge

I was super impressed by the service at The Keep last night. I ordered a bottle of prosecco and it was delivered to my house, chilled, about 30 minutes later. The gentleman who delivered it was super nice. It was very reasonable and absolutely delicious. I would 100% order from them again!

Oh, The Keep! You have to go and try this magnificent oasis of civilization and a bewildering choice of great gins, whiskies, rums, wines, bears (oops beers!)....the list is endless. For me, it IS a bear trap being conveniently, perhaps fatally, located between Wallingford town center and my house. Surprisingly, I have spent many a happy hour in here. You could too T

Great pitstop for a Sunday walk! A cosy size with a very welcoming barman (Sam) who talked us through all the Gins and Beers untill we all found the perfect drink for all of us! It's dog friendly and we made friends with a lovely dog inside. I had a lovely Marmalade IPA it was lovely. If I lived in the area I definitely would be working my way through their ale collection.

The atmosphere is great along with an essence infused in everything of people who really care about what they are crafting. Well curated selection of beer and ciders for those who are not drawn to gin. Overall a fantastic addition to Wallingford and a must visit for all.

Small convenient bar for a quick drink. Staff numbers look limited as it's only small, and although the light coming through from front windows is very good, it's not the greatest view outside, due to main road in front of the bar. Although for what it's worth still good

Pleasent settings good choice of drinks gins beers all the in crowd stuff. Mixed clientele mainly the crowd make new people welcome. Small but cosy in all a nice place. No parking and no wheelchair access that I could see 1 small toilet but it works

A very relaxing place where you can go for a drink without any trouble whatsoever. The bar staff are very friendly and decent. Rob and Sam run a very fine business indeed.

Lovely little place. Friendly, helpful service, great selection of drinks and reasonable prices. They've done a great job with the decor and it all comes together to give an experience that's different from the usual pub night out, but not as pretentious as many alternatives.
