Absolutely delicious takeaway, we hadn’t previously tried Nepalese food. The Ghurka Lamb and Kathmandu Chicken were both medium hot with real depth of flavours and beautifully cooked meat. We also had three Pokhara Delight mixed veg curry which was just as tasty. Delivery was quicker than expected. We’ll definitely be back!

This was my second visit to Pokhara Delight, and once again, it was a fantastic experience! Diamond and Riju gave us such a warm, personalised welcome, making us feel like part of the family. The curries are hands down the best I’ve ever had in Henley and surroundings—rich, flavourful, and perfectly spiced. The lovely selection of wines paired beautifully with the meal. I can’t recommend this place enough! See you very soon.

This restaurant "Pokhara Delight" is a real gem. The atmosphere is both warm and refined. The service is impeccable with attentive staff. The menu offers creative dishes, highlighting tasty ingredients. Each dish is a feast for the eyes and taste buds, with bold flavors. In fact, it is a great address for lovers of Nepalese and Indian cuisine.

I got a lot of different dishes to try and they all tasted amazing. I had the potatoes and spinach. Giant lentils. Prawn chowmein. Fish curry. Garlic and coconut rice. Garlic and butter naan. Vegetable samosas and they also gave us a vegetarian dish on the house which was delicious. Everything had great flavours and cooked very well. Highly recommend.

Absolutely incredible food, and amazing service. My only regret is not coming here sooner. The momos are delicious, and the Himalayan Garlic Chilli is sublime. Great beer too!

Love at first bite. The best curry ever with the softest naan. The curry had the perfect balance between spice and heat. The owner was so friendly. Momo dumplings as a starter is a must. I will definitely be back again.

Was looking for a nice place eat whilst staying in the area. Happened across this restaurant and so happy we did. Haven’t tried Nepalese food before and what we had was amazing. My first time here last night and we absolutely loved this little restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked. Paneer shashlick was amazing and we had a recommended lamb dish (can’t remember name) which was incredibly tender and beautifully cooked. Good sized portions too! We chose it because of the fantastic reviews so were surprised that it was fairly empty when we arrived. After we left we really couldn’t understand why it wasn’t more crowded hence I’m writing a review which I almost never do. Unfortunately we are just visiting Henley but if we lived nearby this would definitely be a regular spot for us. I recommended you give it a go.

Beautiful food, very delicate flavours. The paneer shashlik was delicious and the ‘giggle’ lamb tender and beautifully cooked and presented. Excellent service too. Will be back.

I came here to try some Indian food with some buddies. On such a busy evening, the service was prompt and the meal was great. I enjoyed the chicken tikka main and naan bread that I had. The restaurant staff never stopped checking on us and making sure we had everything was need. An incredible experience all around.

On the 19th of August I was In Henley and my friend and I fancied some curry,I started googling as it was a Monday night and raining,I came across good reviews for Pokhara and booked a table for 7.30 pm.On entering this establishment we were met with a lovely welcome from who I presumed to be the owner who seated us,then a lovely lady took our order,the food came it looked and tasted Amazing,my friend who is very traveled said to the lady that’s the best curry I’ve ever had I can attest to that.this little gem is just off the high street.we will definitely be back👍☝️👌

Went here on a spontaneous dinner date and had the most wonderful meal transporting us to Nepal with amazing spicy curries and momos. The owners were a bonus too so attentive and great hosts. Will definitely be back and can highly recommend!

Ordered over two hours ago, live 10 minutes away still no delivery and phone not being answered, very expensive since being taken over. Unacceptable customer service when busy should have an alternative phone number and a delivery person for takeaway's

Superb Nepalese and Indian dishes served by a lovely team. Lamp Chops were perfectly cooked, portions plentiful and every dish was tasty all washed down with a cold Gurkha beer. Owners are lovely hosts, glad I called in and will become a regular haunt.

Came to Pokhara while working away, and was blown away. We were welcomed like family by the friendliest hosts I've ever had the pleasure to experience, the food was truly incredible (definitely try the momo dumplings). Take care with the chilli, it's hotter than you think, but the flavours are astounding! And to top it all off, it's very reasonably priced! (Especially since our host made sure we got large portions, since we are all "hard working men") I'll be back, probably every week while I am working in the area, and already plan on bringing my girlfriend for the experience.

From my years of experience of Indian takeaway food, i can confidently say that Pokhara Delight makes and delivers the best tasting Indian food with fantastic customer service not just in Henley but from far afield ! Don't risk going anywhere else as you'll be disappointed.... Pokhara Delight scores an 11 out of 10 with my family..

We are on holiday from the Midlands and visited the restaurant on Monday evening. The owners were so hospitable and welcoming. The chef came out and introduced himself and advised what dishes to try. The food was amazing and it was a new experience for us to try Nepalese food. Would definitely return and highly recommend anyone to try. This is a great dine in and takeaway restaurant highly recommend for a place to eat in Henley.

Not many great vegetarian options in Henley, but this place has amazing vegetarian dishes and great food overall. Really friendly staff and the service was within minutes.

We ordered for delivery on Saturday, it was very nice, arrived hot which is unusual for a take away. The portion sizes were good. The food was tasty and flavourful. A great choice of different asian dishes. Will definitely order from here again.

We have been here three times during Regatta.Everytime we visit the restaurant it was full where as other two neighbouring restaurant were not occupied.The food were exceptionlly outstanding . Well - straight out - what a fabulous restaurant! A recently opened Nepalese / Indian restaurant, with a seriously fabulous menu. I managed to visit twice during Henley Royal Regatta week - both times I had quite different main menu items, and both times I was really impressed with the food. Having been in an email discussion, they even opened the restaurant for us (we were a big crowd) on the Monday night before the regatta, as normaly they are closed on Mondays. We had a good selection of side dishes and breads on both nights too - the simple dishes, like tarka dall and brinjal curry were the best I've ever had. The keema naan especially, was succulent inside and perfectly crisp outside. Best of, the staff were very welcomingl. On both occasions, the chef came out to talk with us to make sure the food was exactly to our liking, and the front-of-house team looked after us superbly. I'll be back next regatta - if not sooner. THANK YOU!!

Went here with my friends to try some Indian food. The food was amazing and the service was quick on such a busy night. I had the lamb shank which was very good. The workers in the restaurant kept making sure we were good and that we had everything we needed. Overall an amazing experience.
