By far the best pizza in town. Delivery was spot on and pizza was still hot when it turned up. Nice to find somewhere that will deliver more so when the so called big pizza companies won't. But will deliver half a mile away.

Excellent food and service, pizzas were some if the best we've had in the UK.

I’ve been eating here for 27 years and it’s always good. Today we collected our order, including the margarita with half “minimal cheese” for my son and extra garlic on the garlic bread pizza. Yum! Inside is minimal and more of a waiting area but with good chat from the staff if it’s not busy. Outside is great as it’s under cover and I enjoy sitting there as much now with my daughter as I did as a teen in the 90’s.

The best pizza 🍕, always hot and fresh and cooked to perfection. Very friendly staff both in the shop and via telephone. Very reasonably priced. Do not go anywhere else for pizza.

Definitely the best Pizza in Wallingford

Wife says she'd give them six stars if she could! We ordered two 12" pizzas & cheesy garlic bread, which was more than enough for two. It's rare to find a pizza actually has more toppings than shown in the carefully prepared advertising picture but these did-literally topping on top of topping and very tasty with it. We're on a boat and they were quite happy to deliver to us on the town moorings, which saved us a walk and ment the pizza was hotter when we ate it, so very helpful. It's hard to rate them on atmosphere when we had delivery but they get five stars just for the wonderful smells coming out of their shop; that made us hungry when we walked past earlier in the day and swayed us toward pizza for dinner. Only negative I can think of is the crust was a bit drier than we'd have liked but that's really knit picking. If we lived closer, I'd likely be deleting the app for a certain well known pizza delivery company off my phone.

I have been ordering from the pizza cafe for years now and every single time it’s been amazing. Mostly I collect but this time I had the pizzas delivered. Delivery time was fantastic and the man who delivered my pizzas was so lovely. The pizzas are so fresh, great quality and generous toppings, not to mention great value for money compared to other places . This is a fantastic little gem in Wallingford and I recommend it to anyone who loves great pizzas and great service.

Decided to give The Pizza Cafe a try tonight for a change. Admittedly, it isn't cheap for a takeaway (our bill came to just short of £55 for four pizzas and two cans of Coke), BUT... it was absolutely fantastic! Flavoursome, fresh, and piping hot. This was hands down the best pizza I've had from a takeaway for a long, long time.

It doesn't look like much from the outside (or the inside), but the food is phenomenal! The pizza crust was so fresh and crisp, and they even had a vegan cheese option! We paid £11 for a large pizza, definitely enough for 2 hungry people. I wasn't expecting it to be so incredibly good, this is a well kept secret! I'd definitely come again.

Pizzas back to excellent, after my dads previous 2 bad experiences with burned pizzas....... Update - 30th April 2022, Pizza Dough seems to have changed ? Now quite 'Chewy' feels heavy in the stomach. Prices increased like a lot of other price increases (understandable) but web menu has the 'old prices' so expect to pay more when you collect. Mine should have been £24.50, on collection, £27.50. Now 1 star, down from 5 for the 'chewy dough'...and unexpected price increase found out on collection.

Excellent takeaway pizzas in Wallingford. People queue every evening and they are well worth it. Great choice of ingredients, a lot of product on the pizzas and great service. The only minus point is that they don't take bank cards, it's cash only.

I come here regularly and its beautiful pizza made with fresh ingredient every time. If you ever need lunch or dinner come here. During the day they bake fresh baguettes and its simply the best.

We were in Wallingford for a day out and I purchased the ‘part baked’ pizza for us to enjoy when we got home. I finished them off in a hot oven at home and they were incredible! The best pizza I’ve eaten since I was in Italy! Even if you’re not hungry when I’m Wallingford buy some to take home! You won’t regret it and I am seriously considering moving to Wallingford just to get these delivered to my house!

Something has gone wrong here ? Burnt Pizzas ? Not for me anymore.

Previously gave this business a 5 Star rating because it was totally deserved. Unfortunately after 2 burnt pizzas in two weeks and after collection and placed on the back seat of my car, the pizzas smelled like a bonfire burning. I now have to change my review to 1 Star. Not sure what's going on at The Pizza Cafe ? Never had anything like this before in all the years I've being going their. Seems like someone is trying to sabotage this business from the inside ??? My favourite Pizzas have now become the Worst. I'm Deeply Saddened.....

Best pizza in South Oxfordshire

We have yet to find a place that matches the quality, taste and price with Pizza cafe. We have even ordered part baked pizzas and their garlic bread if we are going away so we can bake them on our return. A few times we have even taken them to our friends as a treat for them so they too can bake and enjoy them when they want to. Its such a shame they haven't got a proper seating cafe. Their delivery times is not the best but we don't mind as they are worth waiting for.

Pizza’s are great but be prepared for a very very long wait if you ask for delivery. 2.5 hours when they said it would be 1.5hours is unacceptable

A pair of delightfully fresh hot pizzas delivered to our door. Both Perfectly cooked, my Diavolo, packed full with delicious meat and peppers my wife’s was a gluten-free base with pescatore (fish, prawns, mushrooms and anchovies) she is a really happy bunny.

Hands down the best pizza in the area. Will always back them against the big chain competition like Dominos and Pizza Express. Wish they did take card though, especially in current climate when contactless would be v useful

hi have been getting a pizza from here for 20 years all good Then I went for a pizza a few days a go and when I got it home it was burnt and could not eat it and had to throw it away To me the café has gone down hill and I will never go there again

Well...what can I say about The Pizza Café in Wallingford, other than that it is the best pizza for miles. Since moving to the area in October last year, I had extensively looked around for a decent pizza and happened upon these guys. Their Four Cheese pizza is to die for! Always a win when you find a good strong blue like Dolcelatte although i prefer gorgonzola....won't mark you down for that ;) So tasty and since the first, I haven't looked anywhere else. The best pizza I ever had was at the Trencadora restaurant in Pollenca, Mallorca... only by a slim margin. Well done guys! Steve & Christine (Cholsey)

Although only small and we had to sit outside with our dog we enjoyed our sandwiches, hot chocolate and coffee. A very good selection of sandwiches and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Absolutely loved our spaniel. Would go back again.

If I am busy in town I often pick a fresh baguette for my lunch. Always tasty but make sure you get a serviette with it, especially if you have the prawn salad.

I only had the pizzas here but it’s some of the best pizza i’ve ever had. Their pizzas are thin crust and very flavourful. I personally think you have to get either the Margarita or the cheesy garlic bread (which is actually like a pizza). Service is quick and the price is amazing. One of the best places to eat in Wallingford

I travel from Abingdon to get pizza here. Always been awesome.

This small pizza cafe is a regular for me whenever I visit Wallingford around midday. The latte is generous and I would recommend the filled baguettes served in a basket at the tables inside or out. The pizzas are freshly cooked and delicious. Order one, go and do your shopping and it will be ready when you call back. The steady flow of regular customers is testament to the popularity of this centre of town venue tucked on a corner of the old arcade. If like me you return to a venue you know will deliver friendly service then this is the place for you too.

The pizza here is amazing! Far better than dominos, we always choose this place if we are craving pizza! The garlic bread is one of the best I have ever had. They also offer vegan cheese which is so great! The only thing I could possible fault is that the garlic bread is't vegan, it would be great if you could adapt the recipe to make it vegan!

Amazing pizza, I’ve been coming here for years, one of the best pizza places I have found! So great that they offer vegan pizzas too! My only suggestion would be to please make the garlic bread vegan! I used to love it so much and would love to be able to have it again!

We went to a hockey social last Saturday and as vegans were going to have a drink and head home as it was a pizza and beer evening. We decided to have a look at the menu on the off chance there was a vegan pizza and to our amazement there was. We couldn't have been happier with the taste and would highly recommend it. Well this was the best find in the world ... Since becoming vegan ... I have missed stringy melty cheese more than anything else .... I have missed bingeing on yummy food... but I Have found my solution .... This is incredible.... The primavera pizza with the goats cheese switched for vegan cheese was the perfect end to a long day Super fresh naughty and incredibly tasty thank you ... I will be back

Small independent no frills, pizza shed mainly serving take-away but does have a limited number of tables for eating in. Excellent pizzas and great friendly service at a fair price.

Great pizza for a great price. This pizza probably even rivals the OPO pizza (best in Wallingford). You can buy pizzas in a range of sizes and customise them to your heart's content. Way cheaper than most other pizza in Wallingford but the price cut has definitely not affected the quality of the pizza. You can either sit inside or outside, take away or have it delivered to you.

We feel so lucky to have this place just around the corner from us - it truly is the best pizza that I've ever had and we pay a visit most weeks. The pizza bases are cooked perfectly and taste extraordinary, while the toppings are generous and of a great quality. Be warned, though, as once you've eaten one of these little beauties no other pizza will do. Really friendly staff, super quick service, and great value too. Perfect.
