Really enjoyed the pizza here, service was friendly and efficient and it has a nice relaxed atmosphere. Tables are not too closely spaced although I recommend sitting by the window. Probably best place for pizza in didcot. Not cheap...bill really adds up with some drinks and ice-cream, but still worth it as going here feels like a treat.

Great place, great service, excellent pizza, good prices. Only thing that lets them down is they sometimes do not add advertised ingredients and the they sometimes make substitutions without telling you (which could be an issue if you have specific dietary requirements or allergies).

Really nice atmosphere, service, drinks menu and food, Lusso is a very welcome addition to the Orchard Centre and to Didcot, possibly making it the best place to eat in the area. Usually I would be a little suspect about somewhere that offers wood fired pizza alongside a diverse menu, including things like goat’s cheese salad and a halloumi burger, but all of our party’s food was excellent. The drinks menu was also good, I had an excellent Aperol spritz and there was a good selection of soft drinks and a few wines to choose from. The pizza was the star of the show though, with a really lovely doughy thin base and a good variety of different options to choose from. The ice cream is also worth dropping in for on its own on a hot day - the restaurant was really nicely air conditioned and worth remembering!

2nd visit (Really enjoyed the pizza on our first visit, but returned to try the Gelato!). Very refreshing and high quality ingredients.

The interior was very nice but the portions were very small and it was extremely pricey for what it was. Staff were on the upper side of grumpy.

I love to go here it is a amazing place for kids and adults! Everyone who works there is soooooooooo... sweet and caring! The pizza is great and lusso has so many options on what to eat! This place quickly become my FAV 😄😄😄😄 MOST DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED!!!

Delicious sourdough pizzas, pasta, burgers, salads and Italian desserts including gorgeous gelato. Small independent so worth supporting. Outdoor seats are lovely on a warm evening.

Had a lovely lunch here yesterday with friends for my retirement. The staff were all lovely and very helpful. I am dairy and gluten free (also low histamine) and this is the first place I have ever been too where they had heard of low histamine!! We always love the pizza's at Lusso, all the staff have always been so friendly and there when you need them. Their ice-cream is fantastic too...if you have room! We rate them so much that we placed a large take-away order with them when we were having a house party - they arrived promptly and still hot - plus all our guests loved them. Good experience with very fresh tasty pizza. Very nice presented and very quick service. Would be a 5 but pizza was a little burnt and for some reason the doors were left open and made the place a bit cold.

Best pizza I had in the UK. A bit pricier than alternatives but the quality is worth the price. I order every weekend and my personal recommendation is a meatfest with spicy salami and goat cheese.

Pizza is amazing but they have recently become so expensive. The other day I walked in to order 2 x ice-cream cones for my children just to be charged £8.30 for 2 very small scoops (one on each cone). On another visit in the past (for pizza) I was charged table service standard in the bill and was also asked to enter tip on the paying machine (like asking for tipping when table service was already added to the bill) Food is very good, Ice-cream is just ok but value for money isn't worth it.

We've been to Lusso Didcot a few times, mainly for their tasty pizza and a generally pleasant dining experience. The pizza is consistently fantastic, with rich flavors and a perfectly crisp crust that keeps us coming back. However, the ice cream service has been a bit disappointing. Despite the quality of the ice cream, there's an issue with how it's served. The staff, particularly the lady scooping from the less attractive side, seems more concerned about the visual appeal of the display rather than ensuring fair scoops. What bothered me was that she wasn't touching the ice cream, almost treating it like scrap. It bothered me even more when I realized this was going to my daughter, and I felt that she wasn't getting the good part of the ice cream. This small but significant problem has made us reconsider our visits, even though the pizza is still a draw. It's a shame that a more consistent approach to customer service, even in the little details, could significantly improve the overall experience at Lusso Didcot.

The pizza we had was excellent and the kid's pizza shaped as a bear was a nice touch. The service was super friendly. We will be back!

Great and bright place that makes our horrible Didcot look a bit nicer. Good pizza and very friendly staff. Will definitely come back. Update: we did come back and were very happy with food yet again. Absolutely recommend this little restaurant.

I ordered pizza from Lusso for my daughter’s birthday party! There was excellent communication from staff and flexibility in terms of delivery time. The pizza was a triumph with the children and parents! The most asked question was “ where did you get the pizza from?”. So hope Lusso has gained a few more customers 🤗 following the party!

The food here is fantastic, and it has been that way for quite a few years. Really love the goats cheese pizza.

My local pizza place. Always come here when we don't feel like cooking or want a treat. My standard order is the spicy nduja pizza. The ice creams are also to die for and they always have the classic flavours e.g vanilla and also a few new experimental ones on rotation. They let you take away any of the pizza you can't finish (it's big!). Very family friendly. Pizza is proper stone baked, thin base. Have chilli and olive oil if you ask for it. Good takeaway service too (delivery or collection both available). Nice reasonably priced house wines too. NB: really busy on Saturdays - tried to go for an early dinner as walk in and no sit down tables available. So booking is necessary for peak hours

This is our go-to pizza place in Didcot for eating out and delivery. They've got a great selection of classic pizzas and always have tempting specials to make the decision even harder. They have a great big pizza oven and know how to use it. They also do a mean Caesar salad and have a great selection of ice creams.

The gelato and the pizzas are great.

Excellent service and friendly helpful staff. Cocktails were nice and so were the pizzas. Only criticism is the chicken on the pizza, which was of very cheap, processed, quality. Plus points for the chilli oil which was very nice. Would definitely go back.

We always enjoy Lussos whether it’s just for coffee or one of their fab pizzas! The team are friendly and welcoming. The pizzas are gorgeous thin sourdough base with fab toppings. The kids queue for the array of coloured gellato! It’s a gem in Didcot!

The best pizza I tried around oxfordshire, this is only one place where I finish pizza to the end with the crud included. I usually never eat the crust, those pizzas are just something else! Good nice little place , Didcot is lucky to have this place. If I crave for pizza I have only Lussos pizza

We stopped by here, when out in town as we both fancied lunch. We have often walked by thinking we need to try it out, today was the day. We were greeted by a very polite member of staff, the menu had many choices and I struggled to decide what to go for. In the end we placed our order, didn't have to await too long for our food to arrive. The food was excellent, great portion size and reasonably priced. I will definitely be returning to try something else off the menu next time. Would 100% recommend.

The pizza was soooo amazing I forgot to take a photo. I had the Goats Cheese and Red Onion chutney. It was lovely. Staff were lovely, attentive and relaxed. Service was fast considering it was busy. Would definitely rate for their take out too!

Great tasting food, freshly and very quickly made. Loved every bite of it. A bit pricey but it’s worth it. What ruined the experience for me is the automatic tip on the bill. I know this thing is spreading fast but I do not agree with it as I think it is MY decision whether I give (and how much) or I don’t give any tip.

Shut an hour early, staff admitted to closing early as it was 'tumbleweed'...can't think why people aren't going when you can't be sure if it will be open.

The staff are very friendly, welcoming and equally efficient. Food was delicious, hot and did not wait an unreasonable time for it either. Great coffee, and cleanliness was 5 star too. Unusual these days to see staff cleaning tables properly and sweeping under tables.

Had a weekend up visiting family and local attractions. Booked in as a family of 8. Service was great, attentive and considerate to your tight timetable. My youngest is a very fussy eater and we requested something of the menu which was fine. Pizza great. Kids size are big but kids are most of it. Gelato tub at the end was perfect size. Would highly recommend for a family meal.

We've been going to Lusso regularly since moving to Didcot 2.5 years ago. the Pizza's are one of the best in Oxfordshire and easily compete with the 'Artisan' chains. we always love the specials. the ice cream is fantastic and have a great range of flavours.

Too little effort to cater for vegans

Ordered pizza on Deliveroo app and when I arrive to collect was told to drive to another site where they prepare pizzas for collection at weekends. Received no phone call to advise of this and when I did collect my food I was given the wrong order. When I got the correct order the pizza didn’t have mozzarella on it which I pointed out to staff who argued with me. I left disappointed and will not order from here at weekends again

Mixed experiences in this place, had lunch a couple times and the food was amazing, went there to have an icecream and it was the worst served ice-cream I've ever paid for, a cup and two ice-cream balls and the girl that served me, even scraped clean the ice-cream leaving a plane ice-cream cup, i swear to god i had never seen an icecream being served so poorly

Great but the only negative is they present you with a bill which shows total including tip or total excluding tip and ask you which you’d prefer to pay! 🤦‍♂️

Foods ok but to expensive for what is basic food. Basic chicken and (forgot to add bacon) kebab £14.95 A tea £2.95 Very basic margarita pizza £11.95 Plus other orders and the service charge that you felt obliged to pay of 12.51% so made our small lunch £75.38 instead of £67.00 Nice food but to expensive.

For the life of me I cannot understand the high ratings. When ordering on deliveroo lusso plus is great. Lusso on the other hand makes a terrible pizza. And they don't even cut it. Then they make the customer engage in a delivery Easter egg hunt. The sourdough from lusso plus is great. The rest from lusso is a GO OUT OF BUSINNES LIQUIDATION and a robbery of good sense. Then the owner replies to this message with accusations of a phone call. I never made any phone call. Why would I call to debate cutting pizzas? Regardless this restaraunt is clearly a @#$ show. And entirely unprofessional. They can't even keep track of who called them. 🙄 their answer is to not come back. Absolutely. Agreed. Terrible service in theory own illustration. I never spoke to anyone.

A slight mix up with one item was rectified very quickly and they were very attentive to my daughters allergy, advising of all relevant allergens in the ingredients. Service was great and the food fantastic, would highly recommend!

Staff were amazing today! Crazy busy. Came for a visit for ice cream. Very busy this was obvious from the line that was out the door but my god the ice cream is worth the wait. Two lovely ladies serving, one was behind the cabinet, but the other the second the que got too long, took off the ice cream doors so that both of them were able to serve the ice cream at the same time and get it under some control this made a lot of us very happy as we could get a scoop faster. Had a very large order, there was about 12 of us who all ordered. Have stepped in before for pizza and promised myself I would come back for ice cream and next time I’ll be back for both.

Ordered for home delivery. Pizzas were cold and soggy - most unpleasant. I would not recommend. AVOID.

The food was not at all worth the price, the pizza was thin and rather disappointing. It took too long to be served and to get our food/bill. Overall, not a great experience.

We called into this lovely cafe in Didcot this morning and enjoyed two of the loveliest Lattes we've ever had, as my wife is quite fussy and had oat milk, this was no mean achievement! We enjoyed sitting outside in the glorious sunshine and had a very relaxed conversation with our daughter after picking her up from the station. Thank you to the charming manager too, she was great and made us feel very welcome.

Visited for the first time this week and tried the Sicilian lemon tart with a scoop of gelato, I tried the coconut and lime, very nice! The service was friendly and the restaurant was very clean. 👍 My friend loved how her tea was served,...

We have been to Lusso a few times and just wanted a coffee. The staff at Lusso are very welcoming and for the record the coffee is fantastic. The chocolate brownie and icecream was delightful. Will be back. UPDATE. Burgers have been added to the menu since the last visit. Haven't have one yet but they look good.
