The best restaurants in South Bucks South East

Had cappuccino offee and a cake. Coffee was poor (bitter, small), cake was ok. Had to go up to collect cake after coffees had been brought to table without. Cost moderate but not a lot less than much better nearby. Hopefully was off day, but they will have to up their game to attract me in again.

I have never seen a rude manager like this. I ordered and when i went to collect food it was really really cold and i asked manager to do something about it he replied "go do whatever you want, we are not going to co-operate " manager is asian somehow.

Delightfully old fashioned, incredibly popular and very good value for money. Wood panelled restaurant in a village that is impossibly pretty (looks like a film set). There aren't many restaurants like this left. Try it while you can!

Fantastic small pizza business. Takeaway only! Great selection of pizzas. Nice thin crust, crisp 👌 well balanced with base and cheese. Comes in 12" or 14" . 8/10 🍕 👏🏼

Fabulous afternoon tea, in a recently refurbished room, beautifully decorated in lilac and silver. Ian was our host, and nothing was too much trouble! Sandwiches were really fresh and tasty, scones - plain and fruit - were warm and delicious. some small patisserie cakes too! Tea was topped up regularly, and boxes handed out if you couldn't eat it all! Would thoroughly recommend. Ian was a ⭐

This was a fairly new restaurant in our area so we left it for about 6 weeks before booking a table just so that they can iron out any wrinkles and get themselves established. A Greek restaurant is always of interest to us and we couldn’t wait to eat there, we called them around mid June 2023 on a Friday eve to check for availability for a couples table… No answer, we kept trying but nobody answered so we went elsewhere. This happened again the following week so I popped my head in on a Saturday afternoon to see if they were open to which a staff member said that they were. We tried again in mid July and got a Friday Eve table for 8pm. I took these pics at 8.45pm on a Friday evening.. it was empty apart from another couple, most of the wine was not available from the wine list and the food was well below average for Greek Cuisine.

Really good steak, hard to find now but think they have it nailed.

Had the most amazing experience here. Hubby took me here as it was part of our anniversary celebration, and when we arrived I wasn’t impressed much. It looked like a house. But was I proved wrong! An amazing meal, warm and welcoming service and atmosphere. I ordered garlic mushrooms for starters, which came in a lovely, creamy sauce and were delicious. I had grilled salmon and vegetables for mains. When I ordered I thought it wouldn’t be enough to fill me, but again I was proved wrong. There were big portions and plenty of flavour. And had a huge slice of cheesecake to finish it off. Delicious meal with a continental flair. Loved the meal and would definitely go back if in the area again.

This is a lovely place overlooking water views with extensive list of loose leaf potted tea, will 100% be back for tea!

The food was alright, the service was prompt, polite and fast. The atmosphere was absent. Beaconsfield might be one of the better service stations, but it's still pretty soulless
