I'm in the region for work and was recommended this place by a local who claimed it was the best location for breakfast and lunch in the area. He was right. The food is cooked to order so it's always fresh. Nita and her daughter who run the cafe are very friendly and welcoming. My work mate and I try and go here at least twice a week.

Lovely family run snack bar with covered seating and log burner fire. Great value food for people on the go. A big bonus for people working in the local area is that Nita will deliver FULL cooked meals for no extra charge. Lake fishing also on site for those that are interested.

5 of us Went there for lunch Sat 14th Dec at 1.10pm to find the place closed. They need to update there opening times as it should of been open untill 3pm.

Unbelievable value for money and a great variety of food on offer. I only found this place when I visited the Wood Farm fishery and can thoroughly recommend the cooked breakfast and a cuppa.

Amazing find when driving by, in a beautiful setting near a lake. The cheapest prices I've ever found for this type of food and it tastes delicious. Fresh fruit available also for a healthy alternative.

A gem of a place. The food is reasonably priced and the staff friendly and pleasant. It's effectively a burger van but with enclosed seating (and a wood burning stove). They make a cracking cup of tea served in a mug if you are eating in. They do breakfast stuff like bacon, eggs and sausage, sandwiches and some hot food like lasagne. It's a bit of a social hub too with people dropping in for a chat as well as a snack. Love it there.
