The best restaurants in Sevenoaks South East

Just had a lovely afternoon celebrating my daughter's 14th birthday with a group of her friends at Raffery's cafe. We were given the private function room which was perfect for a party of 8 with twinkling lights on the ceiling and a long table for them all to sit around in the privacy of their own space. The service was exceptional, and the food was really tasty. Staff readily accommodated the adaptations we requested from the menu, and there were some lovely unexpected touches like a birthday cake, balloons and a banner with my daughter's name on it. Many thanks to Simon and your team, I am now looking for my next excuse to invite some friends for another celebration!

Been there many times in the past 25 years and the service and quality of the freshly made sandwiches and homemade cakes has never changed Its first class you’re never waiting long and the gardens are such a beautiful place to enjoy it. Would always thoroughly recommend it

The Longhouse continue to be our family favourite restaurant for get togethers ever since we moved to Edenbridge in 2013. The food is amazing and the service is so friendly. This family run restaurant is fantastic to eat in or for takeaways.

Been here a couple of times to eat in, the first time was exceptional food then the other time it was ok. We had a takeaway this eve as our regular Chinese was shut, the food was awful, tasted like it was cooked the day before and reheated, no flavour and the batter on the chicken balls was thicker than the chicken. We spent £42 and I wish I hadn’t bothered. Definitely won’t be returning to this restaurant again.

Quite minimalistic restaurant had the double trouble waffle (oreo and lotus biscoff) and it was one of the best waffles I have ever had! Would highly recommend.

I ordered food for delivery directly from the restaurants website and was unaware that this is provided by a 3rd party. The webpage updated to say the food was delivered. I have it 10 minutes before contacting the restraint to be brushed off with, "the driver has left and will be there." After another 20 minutes of waiting with no sign of the food, I called again, and was brushed off that they don’t know the driver, can’t contact them & that the website isn’t their website! A third call in another 15 minutes was abruptly cut off. I tried calling back from a different number, and — surprise, surprise — the phone was answered immediately. This seems like more than a mere coincidence. When I finally got through, I was given the same empty excuses: "We're very busy, the food was collected, they should be there now." I asked for a refund after waiting an hour and a half for a delivery that never arrived, and was told, "the order was collected, we're very busy, so wait." And then, to top it all off, I was hung up on. My advice for future customers is to avoid this delivery.

This is a Great Café for very good quality typical British food.. First Class English Breakfast's or Dinners.. The menu choice is comprehensive the food is never greasy.. The Café is always clean and up to mark.. Even the staff are very nice.. The only issue can be parking but that's down to its sheer popularity .. that said most people double park and move if required.. So do not let it put you off..

Food was nice the kebab was nice needed a bit of seasoning . The salad was nice may of been too much salad on iy . The chips 🍟 was very nice . May have a bit too manny chips for a regular portion . The staff was nice was vauled for money. Only reason I couldn't give it 5 stars it didn't have heating on when we where sitting in so we kept our coats on while eating.

Always a warm welcome from Tracey. Great coffee, we enjoyed breakfast in a bun whilst sitting outside in the winter sun.

Para empezar personal incompetente y pésimo,después de dos horas esperando nos fuimos sin cenar,nos decían que ya venía nuestra comida y a la hora lo mismo, luego quisieron cobrarnos lo que no nos habíamos comido. Hay muchas pizzerías en Rota así que no os aconsejo que vayáis a ésta.

Contemporary decor, super friendly owner and staff, excellent cuisine, good value for money. In the main high street.

Really excellent coffee and breakfast. Lovely staff. Very busy, with a great background buzz of people chatting.

We had dinner at this Sevenoaks local and thoroughly enjoyed their food, service and overall experience. Could not recommend it more!

We have been going here for years with grandparents. Fantastic fish and chips. Wouldn’t go anywhere else. They know us well now and they always treat the kids. Have never had a bad meal.
