Flavours of India - Dunton Green in Sevenoaks

I ordered food for delivery directly from the restaurants website and was unaware that this is provided by a 3rd party. The webpage updated to say the food was delivered. I have it 10 minutes before contacting the restraint to be brushed off with, "the driver has left and will be there." After another 20 minutes of waiting with no sign of the food, I called again, and was brushed off that they don’t know the driver, can’t contact them & that the website isn’t their website! A third call in another 15 minutes was abruptly cut off. I tried calling back from a different number, and — surprise, surprise — the phone was answered immediately. This seems like more than a mere coincidence. When I finally got through, I was given the same empty excuses: "We're very busy, the food was collected, they should be there now." I asked for a refund after waiting an hour and a half for a delivery that never arrived, and was told, "the order was collected, we're very busy, so wait." And then, to top it all off, I was hung up on. My advice for future customers is to avoid this delivery.

Our first choice for Indian take away. Tried many but this one is the best. Very kind to even adjust spice level according to our requirement.

I have no idea why this place is always so quiet. I wasn't quite sure what to order and the dude made me a tikka masala and then changed the spice levels whilst he cooked it to my taste. He talked me through how he makes the sauce from scratch (showing me the ingredients) and then revealed he trained at the Taj Mahal hotel. Not only a lovely bloke but genuinely the best Indian in Sevenoaks / Dunton Green if you want actual flavour. Slightly on the high end but worth it

We would have ordered Indian food in the first place if we knew. The Burrito is no ways near an actual burrito. The Quesadilla was very spicy. Dont con your customers for a Mexican food.

The food here is Indian . You can find better taste elsewhere. Being from gujrati family, I wanted to try best one. It was so teste so much teste food .

I was really impressed by Flavours of India. Freshly made poppadoms and proper south Asian flavours with some dishes you don’t see everywhere - loved the rajma, egg curry and chicken biriyani we ordered.

The food was nice but the prices were higher than many other places and the portions were the smallest we have had in Sevenoaks. There was about three/four pieces of chicken in each dish. So the chicken was gone so quick leaving just sauce. Food good, portions regards price pretty poor in relation to other local restaurants.

Thought we’d support a local business but not a great experience. Food was not appetising - even the naan bread was flat and just warm. Phoned to express our disappointment and was promised a call the next night with replacement food. No phone call and no reply to an email chaser. There are plenty of alternatives in Sevenoaks and in our view they are much better.

Flavour of India ‘’ word says it all “ chef and staff are very friendly and very welcoming . The kids menu’s are great choice and the lamb Saag amazing dish with garlic nan . I would highly recommend to anyone who wants good quality and great service. Babu bhai :)

I have been eating vegetarian food from this restaurant for the last seven months; there is no compromise with the taste🍛😋. Talking with the cook about the secret of tasty food in his restaurant😁, He replied that it's because of his raw ingredients 👍and his experience in cooking in one of the top hotel for years🍲. He Makes his food so perfect that no one else can take that food more tater👌. I am lucky that he has opened his restaurant in Dunton green😍. I have seen his kitchen and cold storage room, It's fully cleaned, and everything is perfectly managed🍚 I recommend you try veg from the flowers of India👍👍👍👍

Epic Indian food from the Picasso of pakora. I moved to Sevenoaks 8 years ago from London and was shocked at how bland and boring “Indian” restaurants in Kent were. Flavours of India opened next door to an established an popular Indian restaurant this year. It has been an immediate success. Great food, great prices and I’ve even ordered here as a take out when Indian friends are over for dinner and they’ve loved it. As far as Sevenoaks and the surrounding area goes this is it. If you want good Indian food you are better off coming here for a takeaway than eating in in any supposedly Indian restaurant this side of East London.

Absolutely amazing food!! If you are after fresh Indian food thud is the place to go for. Tonight was my 3rd visit and yet again the chef smashed it. Well done guys. Also check out the online website as you can get up to 20% off.

Once again a fantastic meal. My new favourite is the salt and pepper mushrooms. The owner is very helpful and provides a great service.

Waited ages to try and we weren't disappointed when we finally got the chance to have takeaway from here - lovely flavours and a great selection of slightly more unusual and authentic dishes, which makes a change from the usual tikka masala etc. Food was fresh and delivered hot with freshly prepared salad, chutneys etc- plus I love that you can get your wine or beer from the shop at the same time! Wish you could sit in as I bet it would be a great experience 🤗

This is the only place we get the Authentic Indian taste. We have tried all the Indian restaurants and takeaways in Sevenoaks, no one cooks proper Indian way. It is like they are cooking for the British people in mind, So the flavour of spices doesn't come in their food. But we are happy at last we found the place locally who can provide us the taste of india. Chef was happy to make it the way we wanted and the main thing is he is passionate about his cooking. In this takeaway i had proper authentic Indian food . I haven't had this kind of fresh, hot and delicious food in my life. I would like to order every day. Thanks to the flavours of India to give me proper Indian taste and specially thanks to the chef to make my food as I want. The service was very quick

A hidden gem, definitely what the area needed. Previously if we wanted authentic Indian food we had to travel to Croydon or North West London. Glad we have somewhere local now! Will definitely be ordering again.

Ordered our food today and i have to say it was the worst Indian food I've ever eaten. More veg than chic!! Small portions for a lot of money, could even finish our meal. Will not recommend or be going back.

Amazing food and the person who runs the shop. These days I am getting my food regularly from here. Specially the Dal and malai kofta.

Promises to be a bit different but actually very average. The sauces were watery and all tasted the same , but the meat was very tender in all the dishes. Probably won't go back.

I unfortunately found a black beard hair in my dish, embedded into the lamb. I was so freaked out I couldn’t eat the rest of my meal. I then found to have an extremely upset stomach and sickness for nearly a week after. I had great expectations for this new takeaway but was left horrified. To be transparent, I did not inform the takeaway. There wasn’t anything they could do to rectify the situation, given the circumstances.

Not Indian food like you would expect, I was a long time Taj Tandoori customer for 10+ years. The person on the phone who took my order was very respectfully and understanding and happened to be the driver aswell, gave him a good tip for fast and accurate delivery time. Food was a MINUS star though.

Authentic and great tasting food.

I’ll be honest, I am not a Indian food kinda girl, but I thought I’d try here, and my goodness it was really really good. Lots of flavours and cooked fresh when you order. The wait was a bit longer due to a technical problem but this was resolved straight away. My son really likes their chicken nuggets and chips. I think I need to get him into a curry or some nan bread! The portion sizes were great, plenty for myself to have a second helping!

First time using this Indian takeaway which is literally 5 min walk away . The shop looks lovely and they spent a lot of time and money obviously making sure of this . The order arrived quickly after online order . The food is nice but very small portions . For the price I expected larger . King prawn dish was disappointing as the prawns were small compared to other local Indians . Flavour and quality of food good but too small . PreSentation good . Would I come back ? Probably no because I can get twice the amount and much bigger prawns from other local restaurants . This takeaway is lovely but a bit overpriced for such small portions. For my son a child and I it came to over £40 and was just about enough.

A week ago i moved to Dunton Green area and started to searching a restaurant with multiple taste like Asian foods, when i call and ordered the lunch i found as according to my taste. Specially thanks to chef who understand my demand and prepared food for me..

Really awesome experience of having the indian taste, I tried alot of the restaurants but the flavours of India have delicious dishes like Kasoori Chicken, Biryani, Lamb chops and curry.Very quick and clean service. Most recommended...

Just really good food honestly didn’t think there would be anywhere good to get a nice takeaway anymore but this is amazing

My husband & I have been looking for flavourful vegetarian Indian food since we moved to Sevenoaks 4 years ago. We have tried every Indian restaurant in Sevenoaks & the surrounding areas, but have always been disappointed. Until now! The vegetarian dishes we tried were full of flavour & tasted different from one another (often Indian veg dishes all taste the same). I recommend people give Flavours of India a try. We’ll definitely be ordering from them again.

ordered a chicken biryani and a rogan josh very disappointed. Far too hot for both dishes and both were very salty.could not eat them. Will not risk again as it was expensive .

Glad to have finally found a place for authentic "Indian" food which has a homemade feel to it! And the best thing is that the restaurant is very keen to take feedback and even willing to personalise my order as per my liking of the curry. Would highly recommend!

Great food, authentic indian flavors. We tried the chicken biryani, paneer curry and chicken starters. All tasted great. The chef was accomodating to customise food per our needs. The most authentic Indian we have had in Sevenoaks yet. Would recommend for sure.

Have just had my first and last curry from here. Food is extremely bland and has no taste whatsoever. A curry for 4 people came to over £80 and every dish basically tasted the same the most flavour I got was from the mango chutney and that still wasn’t that great.
