The best restaurants in Rother South East

Another fantastic meal, so fresh and tasty. We had the chicken tikka salad and Graham chicken burger. First time for these dishes, they met expectation though and I can't recommend the burger enough. Not what I would normally order but thought it would make a change.

Had a lovely roast dinner for 10 very good service and great food very welcoming.we also went to their firework display which was out of this world

We picked up a lunch for the beach, sandwhiches, crisps, soft drinks and a cake. By far the best sandwich in a while (you can pick your own fillings) and they did a gluten free option too with gluten free cakes. They also sell good food presents.

Visited for dinner with a friend, service was friendly and attentive. Menu not too big but good variety. Food was presented well and tasted great. Lovely relaxed atmosphere in restaurant. Would definitely recommend.

Now called Chapter Two, not Two Trees. We enjoyed a lovely no thrills breakfast here which is exactly what we needed. The owners had signage up stating that they were away and the lady who appeared in charge in their absence was doing a great job. Made us very welcome and provided great service with a smile.

Hands down the best coffee shop in Bexhill, probably the South East to be honest. Fantastic drinks and food, friendly and welcoming staff, cosy, chilled with really good music. If I could mark it higher I would. If you’re just visiting or if you’re a Bexhill local, make sure you pop in and support this absolute gem.

This is a fantastic place, friendly staff and fantastic food, caters for vegetarian, vegan and meat eaters! Soya, almond and proper cow juice! Stella the owner has tried to cater for all. Stella also puts on events one I went too was viewing the Sun by Astronomy Adventures, kind people explaining what we saw (Mind Blowing)

If you expect a dull tasteless Domino's or Pizza express type Pizza then avoid Garcia's. But if you want a FRESHLY cooked Pizza Wrap or similar bursting with flavour and the complete opposite of the dry powdery dough that the big co's use then go here. The very friendly couple that run it have been doing so for decades and its an art form. Garcia's is a hidden gem in Bexhill, near the Station and supermarket so ideal stop off after shopping or travelling. Try it once, it won't be the last time you go back, but it might be the last time you go to a 'big name' pizza shop!

Best fish and chips for miles around as for the Chinese food out of this world the best Chinese by miles not had as good a Chinese since I left London

Always good, hot and freshly cooked. Very decent portions. Helpful and friendly service. Had the chicken curry, good large pieces of chicken. Well cooked and tender

Popped in last week, first time I have ever been here but it certainly won’t be the last. Bright, very clean and super cheerful and the new owners are a real delight. The food and drinks are reasonably priced and of excellent quality. Recommended, give them a try.

Loved everything about it: food, service, setting. Great coffee and fresh juice. Very friendly proprietor, who knows the area well. Ive been there a number of times and never been disappointed. Its just a shame its not open more. Tends to be weekends at the moment.

Warm, friendly service with the best Danish pastries I have ever eaten. My granddaughter devour her ice cream, claiming it to be super delicious! Would highly recommend a visit to this excellent café.

You couldn't find a more relaxed friendly atmosphere. Food is fabulous, this is now my local go to pub. Must be tried

Found this by chance, cute little cafe, very good coffee which was a delightful surprise. I ordered the granola bowl - good size and was delicious. Would definitely go back.
