Coffee was a treat and Decor inside was lovely as was the young lady serving Was able to get an oat milk latte and a slice of homemade banana choc chip cake for £6.50 and believe me the cake was indeed the best slice of cake I've ever tasted and my only regret is living so far away from this delightful little place

Massive cup of tea . Tasty. Get a little jug of milk to. The cakes look good. Presented in glass cake stands. Rolls are big . Bit wet at bottom but great flavour in the bread. I think they are pre prepared and so limited to how many they have available. Bagel. Cheese not melted was warm . No butter. Tasty mustard and pastrami inside. No sandwich options. Plants and alcohol on sale inside. It's a really nice environment. Alot in a small space but plenty of seating. Dog food and treats Brownie looked so good. A kinder one. It was dry, the topping was nice. Food stops at 3pm The plastic chairs are not sturdy. The skirting boards need cleaning. Clean and tidy bathroom. The cakes looked great and I'd like to give them another try. English breakfast available. Lots of coffee options. Its a nice location in bexhill town.

Love love love this coffee shop. Me and my husband go here all the time, and meet with our parents here too. Such a unique and special atmosphere. It’s always busy and rightly so.

This is very much my sort of coffee shop, which is in Western Road, the road where the library is that adjoins the two main shopping streets, Sackville and Devonshire. Even before I even realised that it was a coffee shop, I was taking a photo of the huge garland of flowers around the front door...it is so pretty. I was only wanting a coffee and a croissant, which were both excellent, but I just loved the place inside; there were so many plants (which I think they actually sell) and some book shelves so that you can browse and buy one or two, which I did. Overall, it has a really individual look and a nice atmosphere. The two girls serving at the time were just lovely...very friendly and very helpful. If I lived in Bexhill, I would be visiting this coffee shop every shopping trip I should imagine.

My mother recently passed away and we were looking for a venue to host her wake. Our immediate thoughts turned to Cactus Moon ours and mums favourite little coffee shop in Bexhill. I contacted Becky and Lizzie the owners who at quite short notice were only too happy to support. They had never undertaken an event such as this before and were very attentive and meticulous to ensure it was everything we wanted it to be. Needless to say the afternoon was executed to perfection. We enjoyed a great value buffet of fabulous savoury goodies coupled with their infamous homemade cakes which on this occasion were Victoria sponge, carrot cake and chocolate caramel tart all complemented by their amazing coffee, the best for miles around in my opinion! There was so much food that everyone even had the chance to take some home to savour on their journey back to Portsmouth. Nothing was too much trouble for Becky and Lizzie. They welcomed my family with open arms and couldn't do enough to make sure they had everything they needed. They even played mum's favourite music creating an afternoon of nostalgia and sentiment which got everyone sharing their own lovely stories about her. I cannot praise and thank these brilliant ladies highly enough, they did mum proud and I know she would have been smiling down on us all in that little coffee shop with a big heart. Terri

I have visited a handful of times and can honestly say there’s nowhere I’d rather have a coffee in town now. They’ve created such a relaxed place to sit and chat, pass the time, the plants are such a great addition and although their onus is on great coffee and home made cake, my egg roll was just the ticket when I’d not had time for lunch earlier… this place reminds me of my travels around Australia, it’s just ‘got it’.

Easy to miss but situated opposite the library in Western Road. This cafe has a great atmosphere with a bright cosy interior adorned with foliage. A pleasant warm welcome awaits. I only had a lemon cake and coffee but both were delightful. A new venture for the two young ladies that own Cactus Moon who plan to expand the menu which can only add to the success of this venture. Nice happy music. Well done and thanks

I live locally and have visited this place many times. It is definitely the best coffee shop in the area. The coffee is great and presented beautifully with really cool coffee art. The chai and herbal teas are also amazing. I particularly like the ginger tea and turmeric chai, they are my favourite. The cakes and pastries are also absolutely delicious. They also sell plants including cacti here from all over the world which look amazing and give the place a different feel to any other coffee shop around. They staff are very friendly and always helpful and are very knowledgeable about their drinks and plants.

Cactus Moon never fails to impress. Met some friends for coffee and cake and it was absolutely delicious. Had a great time, the staff were lovely and even purchased a plant. Their knowledge of the plants they sell is brilliant, so wasn't afraid to ask advice.

Visited on Sunday with a few friends. Love the setting and the plants. Coffee was okay even if a little pricy. However I was really really disappointed by the lack of greeting or service. We walked in and said hello before taking our seats to be meet with no response. When ordering I also asked if there was any specials/recommendations however again no response just a head nod towards the board. The place is so warming and welcoming from the outside and on social media it’s a shame that it’s not the case when you actually go in.

The perfect venue for a private party. Easy access by train or car, gorgeous garden, well stocked bar, first class service with a smile, the best wood fired pizza outside of Italy! Nothing too much trouble for Paul and his team (= family) who are just brilliant hosts.

Cold, unwelcoming, unhelpful and the crushed new potatoes where full of grease. It's a shame as we are all local but when they turned the fan heater on and turned it towards the 1 person sitting at the bar we realised then we weren't welcome!! The waitress told us they had had a busy day and she was tired " we where the only table in there "!

Three night stay. Staff were very helpful and accommodating but the ‘luxury’ room was a let down. VERY small bathroom, unfinished tiling and floor and cold. Dust everywhere, dead flies and cobwebs in glazing, bins not emptied during entire stay. Very limited toiletries and tea/coffee tray. Old pillows without protectors. The breakfast was good but every item had to be ordered individually, nothing laid out for us to help ourselves to and there were no pastries or cereals

We used to have great breakfasts in the past at this location but we were both very much disappointed by paying 40 pounds for being served old bread under our choice of breakfast. First it was like it had been toasted several times at an earlier time that day and tasted like old toast and was extremely hard, thin and a very small slice of toast, that was not cuttable or biteable. When I asked to change it, I received then a slice of old, dry untoasted bread in a place that sells fresh bread every day. It felt like the avocado had shrunk a lot and the egg was cold as it came back within minutes. My husband had the same, old, dry bread under his choice of breakfast. The small amount of ginger and turmeric shot, was mixed with too much water too. The prices for eating out in general have been shooting up enormously in England in the last two years, however, sadly to say, the quality and service in some places have been going down. There seem to be a lack of awareness amongst the owners, chefs and services, that some people also have to work a lot to be able to have the luxury, which it is becoming more and more, to eat out and that they don't want to spend their money on badly prepared or bad quality of food for high prices.
