If you expect a dull tasteless Domino's or Pizza express type Pizza then avoid Garcia's. But if you want a FRESHLY cooked Pizza Wrap or similar bursting with flavour and the complete opposite of the dry powdery dough that the big co's use then go here. The very friendly couple that run it have been doing so for decades and its an art form. Garcia's is a hidden gem in Bexhill, near the Station and supermarket so ideal stop off after shopping or travelling. Try it once, it won't be the last time you go back, but it might be the last time you go to a 'big name' pizza shop!

I have been visiting Garcia's since the place was first opened back in late 80's.. There are so many take away restaurants that just produce the same old stuff... You don't get that with Garcias.., the food is all freshly prepared and cooked..., and it is great value... What makes this place a gem is that there is no where like it..., no one does food like this..., it all just tastes great... In nearly 30 years, I've never had one that wasn't outstanding.., and if I'm in Bexhill, I always make a point of going there... I can't recommend it more,,, The couple who run it are the most lovely people you could wish to meet... Get yourself down there and get the best take away in town...

I have been ordering from Garcias for a long time and can honestly say that I have never had a bad order. Their Pizza Pasties are second to none! Exceptional dough/bases and tasty fresh ingredients. They are a favourite with both my children for the variety of fillings/toppings. I have tried other venues but found them lacking in comparison to Garcia's. Thoroughly recommend

I remember when garcias first opened loved the pizzas then and the pizza pasty I moved away but recently moved back to bexhill and back to this fantastic pizza place 3 pizza tonight so tasty I can't get enough there have been many pizza places come and go but garcias still standing.

Chose Garcias due to raving reviews, but oh my, should have known better the moment I entered the place and saw the menu - none of it suggested authentic pizza, but still decided to give it a go. What we received was something pizza-inspired at best, nowhere near something you would expect from a place that have a pizza sign above their door. The base was soooo oily and baked not on a stone, but in a round pan. Really? The topping was scarce and not placed on top, but covered with some cheese that was definitely not mozzarella, but some grated cheddar or smth equally unpairable with pizza. Avoid if you are looking for Italian pizza, but go for it if it brings back some lovely memories from your childhood if you used to eat there.

I have been getting pizzas, pasties and wraps from Garcias for 25+years on and off. They are a Bexhill Legend! Dont try and compare their pizzas to any of the franchises - they are a world apart and so much the better for it! If you have been using Garcias for a long time, you know they will cater to most requirements - more cheese, no sauce, no cheese, etc - they go above and beyond! If its your first time, expect more topping than you will get from any other company, but dont feel afraid to customise! These guys make some seriously good pizza, and i would heartily recommend them to anyone!

Got a delivery tonight as they have had good reviews so we thought we would try them for the first time. We are really surprised and disappointed to get what we received from exclusively a pizza shop. We received chips that were sold as fries and they were mostly raw, grey in colour and had lots of blacks bits...very weird - it's not difficult to deep fry some chips. The salami pizza was absolutely layered with cheese. So much so that the underside of the pizza was literally wet with oil and was crispy due to such a massive amount of oil. The bottom of the pizza box was saturated with oil. The other spicy beef pizza was exactly the same - I just don't understand? And to add salt to the wound, they delivered deep pan and not thin crust as we had ordered. We order from a few other people that do pizzas and are happy with them - we tried these guys because we wanted to find a local company that was like a local dominoes and I genuinely thought we had found them after reading all those excellent reviews. So we are genuinely disappointed and really confused. We definitely won't be ordering from them again as the ones we use (three other companies depending on how much of a rush we are in that evening) are worth either the wait, or the money or have offers that also make them worth it. We've spent £20 tonight for two pizzas....we are still hungry but at least the black bin will eat well tonight.

We came to bexhill on holiday and one of the nights we ordered takeaway. Very pleased with the service we got very friendly very quick the delivery lady was faultless. Cheesy chips were oven chips not that bigger deal as it is a pizza place..... so that was fine. Garlic bread was very nice. Pizza however wasn't very nice at all, very stodgy and greasy. We spent over £50 between the 4 of us and I my husband and I had the worst wind all night after it. We did try and ring up the next day to make them Aware but the phone was ringing through I'm not sure they are open every day.

Just had a yen for a pizza, and drove around town and saw that Garcias had reopened after a short closure. So happy as it was a lovely pizza packed with flavour and plenty of topping.

The best for miles around, (probably the best this side of Italy) Family owned and run, Always hot and fresh, Has to be tried...

A take away...tucked away in a side street....you might be forgiven for thinking this place had closed. The exterior needs redecoration the signage is tatty. However if you are brave enough to enter...all is clean and simple and business like. A good selection of toppings and sizes and some local specials like a Pizza Pasty. But stick with the thin crust Pizzas and you will be rewarded with one of the best Pizzas you have ever had the pleasure of eating. Better than some of the upmarket chains and better than I have had in Italy or New York............quite fantastic.

Don't bother with the franchise pizza places, Garcias freshly made pizzas and pizza pasties far exceed any other pizza I have ever had, been a loyal customer for 15 years, great prices, amazing food, great service, what's not too love.

Serious pizza. The base is beautiful, with a generous well portioned topping. Fresh ingredients can be tasted through out. I'm so glad I tried this takeaway.... Don't think I'll be going elsewhere :-) staff really helpful as well. Thanks guys.

I've been going here for almost 30 years and it only gets better. The staff go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect, and the food is always fresh and always well cooked. Try the homemade coleslaw!

Good quality Italian pizza ! Good sizes ; good prices !!! Lots of choice ! You can find the menu online ! They also do yummy pizza pasties (like calzone) Much better , yummier and cheaper than dominoes and Pizza Hut any day!

Garcias make the best pizzas in bexhill by far, so much better than any chain or non specialist outlet. If you want a really top quality pizza in this area who would have to be crazy to look anywhere else.This place deserves your support.

Forgot all about Garcia but wanted a takeaway that was fresh tasty. Garcias does the best pizza pasties that can fill up any one. You can choose your own fillings and they are really yummy.

I took my daughter in to have a pizza pasty like I did at her age still filling and oh so good we both loved it and will go again when we are back down

Has been a family choice for pizza in our local area ever since I was a kid. It's a shame Domino's pizza turned up giving Garcia's competition, in my opinion there isn't any competition as you can't beat a homemade pizza that's such a value for money which Garcia's provides. They also do delivery which is ideal when you're typically in the mood for pizza.

Garcia's used to be the best place in town to get a pizza. Then Domino' arrived.We decided to go back to a local independent business but what a disappointment. The base was raw and the topping thin.They've obviously been affected by the competition but you're only ever as good as your last visit.Shame.

We like to visit Garcias when working late. The food is freshly cooked to order and is piping hot. My poor ol' burnt tongue will evidence this. The shop is clean and tidy and been there for years. They make home made coleslaw too.
