Loved everything about it: food, service, setting. Great coffee and fresh juice. Very friendly proprietor, who knows the area well. Ive been there a number of times and never been disappointed. Its just a shame its not open more. Tends to be weekends at the moment.

So glad we’ve found this place! Down a little side street in Camber it is worth the few steps off the beaten path. The breakfast was super fresh and delicious.

We had the Clam Breakfast and it was very tasty with quality ingredients. The sourdough bread was very special indeed, so delicious we ordered extra portions. Also the coffee is one of the best for sure in Camber.

Not your usual full English. Very good quality food but have to say did not enjoy the home made beans!

Have visited this cafe a few times. The food is consistently good and the owners are lovely. We have had a few of the dishes off the menu and all are good. The breakfast and the homemade muffins are particularly good.

We had the loveliest brunch here this morning with my parents and were so excited to discover this new gem. Beautiful, fresh, home-cooked food and really the most wonderful atmosphere and service. A great, stylish menu - enough dishes to satisfy all tastes and appetites but not overwhelmingly complicated as with some cafes (who wants curry AND a breakfast AND a jacket P AND a lasagne on one menu?). So tastefully furnished with lovely attention to detail; minimal and stylish wooden furniture that feels both modern and elegant whist also being really cosy and comfortable. Fresh flowers on the tables, great lighting (YES it matters!) and exemplary service from the friendly staff. We will be back! Thank you Clam x

We ate here during the eat out to help out, The food was ok, but I wouldn’t have paid the normal price for their breakfast. Nice set up, the deckchairs out front is a nice touch.

Really different to anywhere else in Camber. This simple set up offers good quality food in what was obviously once someone’s house. The food is its main selling point and it’s just behind the sand dunes. All day breakfasts, halloumi on flatbread, the coffee is good. The owner Ted does his own weather reports on Instagram which are funny, especially when it is pouring down. Simple concrete front yard with pub benches and inside is quite austere but as cafe’s go this is definitely worth visiting regularly. We’ve a holiday let nearby and many of our guests have also said they enjoyed The Clam.

Excellent coffee, great tunes and delicious breakfast. Just what this area needs, something beyond fish and chips. Thoroughly enjoyed and we will be back.

The Clam is quite easy to miss if you're just heading down Old Lydd Road to the beach. But take a quick turn off, and you'll find The Clam, and they are serving some great, original food. We had lunch outside at the front on a very hot Saturday - they have a few rustic picnic tables and some deckchairs. Halloumi, pepper, tomato and olive wrap (amazing bread) was absolutely excellent, and great value for money. They have an interesting selection of soft drinks, and a menu offering something really different compared with its neighbours. The service was informal and charming. We will be back!

Really fresh tasty fish, cooked to order, always piping hot, always good sized portions and the staff are lovely too.

Go through the dowdy antique shop frontage into the tiny, almost cramped room behind and prepare for a treat. We three all picked the all day breakfast; proper bacon, real butcher's sausages and all the trimmings. At around £6, with coffee refills, we couldn't have been happier!

This was the first time we had used Little India and was persuaded by positive reviews. Ordering online was very easy and we did it early on in the day. The set menu is very good value as you can choose your own dishes from the menu - a no brainer if you want this quantity. Two poppadoms, two starters, two mains, two sides, two rice and one naan for £39.95. We particularly liked the chicken chat. In addition, we also ordered a half tandoori chicken which was okay but not very big for a half chicken. Food was delivered exactly on time on a Friday evening. We will try again with different dishes.
