Nice bar just on the edge of town. Seating setup is a little weird but nice atmosphere and proper pub feel (some of the pubs in Rye felt a little cafe like to me)

Fantastic place, great food and really friendly. Will absolutely be back as a family next time we're in Rye

Great atmosphere, food presentation looks good but unfortunately the Sunday roast beef was a big let down , it was as dry and bland as anything. Really disappointed. If you go there for Sunday roast I would recommend their pork loin and duck or chicken instead. Don't bother with Beef its dry and hard!!

Lovely cozy place with a beautiful warm interior. Very unique , has it’s own character. Staff is friendly and very attentive. Lovely mulled drink selection for the winter to be had by the cozy fireplace. Downs: food is very well presented on the plate but tiny portion size doesn’t reflect the price.

Quirky pub, good beer and great food

We have just had a lovely veggie and beef Sunday roast. Speedy and friendly service and the food was fab. I would certainly recommend

Excellent local pub serving first class food. My Sussex beef steak was cooked perfectly medium rare, a good size and very tasty. Chips were excellent, chunky and crispy. Peppercorn sauce a bit on the thin side but very flavoursome. The Romney lamb was beautifully cooked and extremely tasty - very nice indeed. The roasted new potatoes were lovely, but there were a lot of them - maybe less spuds and some braised cabbage instead would be a better balance. Allover, an excellent, well priced and tasty lunch in a very nice dog-friendly pub.

We had a wonderful lunch here on a busy Saturday afternoon. We were able to sit outside and soak up sun! The staff were friendly and attentive. Prices and selection were great. We had risotto, salad, tomatoes, onion rings and the best sticky toffee pudding so far on this UK trip. Highly recommend.

Great querky little pub with little booths in parts. GREAT food, much of it cooked in the fire oven. Fish stew was a hit with us. The Globe has a great ambience and character .give it a try, you won't be disappointed.😁

Sadly missed the roast - but when I next visit Rye I will come back. The pub has lots of little small seating areas which makes it cosy

Had a couple of days in Rye, whilst lookin for parking, came across this little gem down a side road. So pleased we did. Fabulous atmosphere, service and food. The staff were efficient and super friendly and gave us all, including our little dog a really enjoyable experience. It's the main reason we'll remember our trip, thank you! X

Not easy to get a table but if you do , it's great place to eat and drink. Nice beers excellent fish and seafood platter, decent prices, good staff. Inside, the atmosphere warm and comfortable and informal. You'll enjoy visiting the Globe

It was the 1st time I had been to The Globe,a great atmosphere and dogs are welcome,the staff are on the ball,nothing is too much. I had Sea bass,with new potatoes and beautiful green beans & cherry tomatoes all cooked perfectly!! And beautifully presented,you will see me again. Many thanks Jez

We popped in on Sunday to have a roast. Beef was great and lots of veggies on the plate.

Overall a great location to have a simple meal, the decor is a bit quirky which adds to its charm. Food and service were average.

A great breakfast on a beautiful Sunday morning with very pleasant staff who were accommodating and attentive. All food was freshly prepared and tasted great. Will definitely be returning.

We arrived, sodden, after being caught in an August downpour. The staff were lovely and accommodating, and the pub was a lovely respite. We enjoyed the drinks and the food for the most part was v good. Service excellent!

Lovely quirky interesting venue. A must when in Rye. Food is fab too. Only problem is parking especially when busy as they don’t have a car park.

Friendly staff, very attentive. Lovely decor too. However, some elements of the food let the experience down a bit. We've had roast - the gravy was very *very* watery (and bland, I actually missed having horseradish or something to lift it up a bit), beef was good and tender (could have been pinker but that's down to taste). The pork however very tough, and almost more fat than actually meat. The apple sauce was polarising (I was the only one who loved it, the two people who did order the pork couldn't eat it).Carrots were delicious but potatoes okay. No seasoning on the cabbage. I think all in all it was alright but wouldn't go back for roast

It's a nice pub.. been jany times....but you can't call them! Did I leave my credit card? Online tahle booking or snailmails. .. Dunno..can't find out! that's a tad arrogant!

New menu is exceptional, hats off to the staff. Service is fab, we are never turned away even when they are busy. Such a great pub, could not recommend more.

Always busy with a colourful mix of locals and visitors. Food imaginative and fresh. Service is welcoming and cheerful. Never had anything but a good experience here

Great atmosphere and decor with quirky elements giving the whole place a fun and relaxed vibe. The food is average though, cooked well but really lacking flavour across the whole menu. Such a huge shame, they really missed the mark here, this place could be wonderful but instead we had an average meal form which we'll never come back to. Perhaps good for just a few drinks and snacks only.

Beauty everywhere and free parking, for a change in Rye.

Great find! Passed on the way back to our hotel and decided to stop as it looked good and was busy, always a good sign. Lovely table outside, with a great vibe. The seafood platter was fabulous and was also served up quite quickly. The staff friendly and responsive. The beers we tried were great, too. Will visit again before we leave.

We loved the quirky interior of these seaside themed gastro pub. The fish, roast, and cocktails were all excellent. A great place for dinner after a day at Camber Sands beach. ⛱️

Had lunch with 4 adults, 3 children and a baby. The stuff were very helpful and understanding of the work relating to looking after children! We had a lively time sat in the pretty garden and had a very tasty lunch. Thank you

Lovely pub but you can't book a table so have to take your chances. Food was delicious. Burger was very tasty and chips were very nice. All the food was well presented. Waitress was very attentive. The only down side to our experience was a discrepancy on the bill where we were overcharged for one item on the bill. However once this was pointed out it was rectified very quickly with many apologies. Would definitely recommend this pub.

We enjoyed a nice snack type lunch here with friends last week. The baked Camembert with bread and orange marmalade was so delicious. Only thing I feel they should take not of as I mentioned at the time is the summer drinks menu with NO prices on! I asked our waiter the price of the jug of Pimms but he wasnt sure he then asked what appeared to be the general manager...he went over to the till and came back to inform us it was £25. There was no size of the Pimms jug either so not sure what you get for £25 but thought people should know before they order. Look forward to going back to try more of the food menu and hopefully see the summer drinks menu now has prices.

A great atmosphere. Busy off a weekend,pre book essential for large parties. Relatively relaxed serving style ie wait a while for your food etc, but that is more than offset by the excellent food itself. Can highly recommend this establishment.

Lovely little place, go past it a lot, but the first time I stopped in. Really friendly staff, and what an amazing decor inside. The food was good, I would not say great but I would eat there again. The chips were a little to oily for my liking, I also appreciate times are tough for everyone but a little side salad or something so I felt I was getting some value add would have made it feel a little better value for money. However, as mentioned, I would go back so that has to say something.

I just love this pub! Such a lovely atmosphere where you can tell they care about their staff, their customers and their food! We booked a table for early dinner with our two teens and really liked that our table felt cosy and private. All the food came up beautifully presented and tasty, and I loved the extensive drinks menu. Little touches like asking for ice with my wine and then they remembered to bring ice when I ordered another glass, shows how attentive they were. Only request I would say is more vegan/dairy free options for desserts.

We had the most beautiful afternoon here in probably the most unique bar I’ve ever visited. The staff are lush, the food was excellent value and fantastic. Drinks all great too. Several outdoor areas to choose from and most importantly, dog friendly!

Nice pub/eatery. The interior is special: different rooms are decorated differently.

I really live this place, it has very unique climate and it's very pretty!! Food is very nice, but it's on pricey side, be aware. It's usually busy therefore don't expect quick service, it's not fast food!:-) staff is nice and attentive, just busy! I should not recommend this place because it's my hidden gem and I don't want it to become too touristy, but I can't be selfish and keep it to myself: sharing is caring:-)

Quirky But nice Popular, easy parking, good food

We had a wonderful lunch here last weekend. We were a group of 4 adults, 2 kids and 2 dogs and they gave us a wonderful window seat. The decor is quirky, the atmosphere relaxed and buzzy, and the menu excellent. Love the fact their menu is based on local produce. Great selection of beers on tap. The service was wonderful and they went out of their way to help us celebrate one of the party's birthdays. We will definitely be back next time in Rye!

Quirky sort of pub very popular if your not into fish there is not a lot of choice

This place is amazing, from the decor, to the staff, to the food and drink. If you are in Rye then this is a must. Make sure you book. Good gluten free options as well.

Great little pub on the outskirts of Rye. Parking on road, as no car park. Lovely little beer garden, amazing drinks selection and good food. The range of Gin is something to behold. Lovely staff. Will be back.

Lovely vibe. Floorboards, fires, cosy. Decent outside space, with your own lobster pot. Doing the usual suspects well, food wise. Table or bar service. More cafe/resto than pub. Well patronised and usually a decent smattering of folk up to rammed in good weather. Parking free on road. And often nearby. Better than the obligatory shoulder rubbing on the crowded cobbles of Rye centre, for me and the dogs at least.

We had a fabulous lunch at The Globe Inn. The staff were so wonderfully attentive throughout. The food was delicious and there was a great range of drinks on offer from cocktails to non-alcoholic beers. There were no kids menus but they do offer children meals of burger, sausages and fish goujons. A great little find on the outskirts of Rye!

For a family with teenagers and a dog this was a perfect location for dinner. Chilled vibes, quirky decor, good local ales, excellent service. Couldn’t fault it which is quite rare!

Me and my friend came here today for a roast after seeing it was dog friendly. From the minute we arrived the staff couldn’t have been more helpful and attentive. Food was incredible and services couldn’t be faulted one bit. Will defo be back

Cracking dog friendly pub on the outskirts of the beautiful town of Rye. Lovely quirky interior, friendly attentive service and a suntrap of a patio make this place a must visit. We went on a Sunday lunchtime for the full roast which didn't disappoint; I had the lamb and my wife the beef brisket...both beautifully cooked. Two kids had burgers which they absolutely loved. Good spread of local ales too!

On holiday in Rye and just had to go to their musical evening. Very good

Fabulous pub with lots of character and features. Food is great but on the expensive side for the portions, I like full plate for £22. Deserts also on the pricy side at £8.50. service is fabulous, with a great range of local beers and drinks.

Amazing food, selection of drinks, warm roasting fire to warm up near when it's cold out! A must see and go to if u fancy a bite to eat, and a great service by staff taking orders.

The staff were really nice and let us sit on the high spare table while we ordered our food and then moved us to an available table so we were kindly attended to at all times. The pub is gorgeous and there were a lot of GF options available. Thankyou we spent a lovely few moments and the Sunday roast was great . I did wish the whole chicken for two was ( back ) on the menu, but I was very happy the pork was on the menu as I am enable to eat beef or lamb ( which looked delicious btw ) . Thank you for a lovely cosy and tasty afternoon 😊
