The best restaurants in Tadworth and Walton Reigate and Banstead South East

Friendly staff, there menu is fantastic a great variety of choices, sauces are full of flavour I’m not certain but look like there made on site and the pizzas are 12/10 not heavy on the belly

John at front of house is amazing. So engaging and helpful. We came for a drink and ended up having the scallop and prawn pastry starter, which was delicious. Definitely would go back, lovely place.

Second time we’ve been here and we absolutely loved it,great food great service really good cocktails and the Turkish lager went down a treat,we visited here on the 20th February and in December,highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back soon.

Takeaway review: very disappointing. Watery curry, 'Iceland style' calamari. I really wish Giggling Squid would come to Banstead and Tadworth and give us proper Thai food! Even the potatoes in the curry are tinned ones...not worth £40. Better to go to Giggling Squid and get some proper food that's worth having. I am dubious as to whether the food was actually cooked on site or brought in pre-made. Don't waste your money. Won't be back.

Once again, we have had just the best dinner! Possibly about the 20th by now! We are always made to feel so @ home and happy that we are there. I do believe there is a new Gentleman who took our orders and was so kind and respectful...the service which we have always appreciated on all our visits. Thank you to all the "crew" for your amazing experience from start to finnish! The steak on the stone is an absolute winner, especially since I was born in SA & know a good steak when I have one! Keep up the goodness guys! X

Went there this afternoon and bought a meal for 4 people which was ready in minutes. Also super friendly staff with excellent service.

A fabulous country pub with great food. We have come here on and off over the years and would highly recommend it! Lovely attentive staff too.

Best Sunday lunch for a long time… frank sinatra wanabee was good and a nice touch but our table was bang next to the speaker so not much intimacy… although we enjoyed and had a fab time, others may have found it too much… all in all a decent afternoon! Would go back.

We went as a group for a birthday meal and mostly ate off the set menu. The food was okay but nothing special though perhaps it was expected as they catered for bigger groups. The service was good and the staff friendly although the drinks are on the pricey side especially as they add 12.5% service charge. We had a good catch up with friends but it wouldn’t draw us back.

So welcoming. Every visit is a treat. Today I celebrated my mums 84 birthday with my 92 year old dad. They were made to feel so special. Lovely service and great food.

We ordered a takeaway from here, on high recommendation. It was very easy to order online and the collection was lovely and smooth. Upon collection, we saw how nice the restaurant looked, so we will definitely be going there for a sit down meal in the near future. It was value for money, all of the food we ordered was super tasty and we picked a time we wanted to collect the order too! Looking forward to enjoying the lovely food in the restaurant! Definitely recommend so far!

Terrible service by sullen teens and appalling coffee. When I requested a replacement for something that looked like tea, they didn't apologise, and the replacement was no better. What a pity, this used to be a lovely place to go.

Went yesterday 1st March for lunch,4 of us,I ordered the pie,but it was more a steam pudding, and peas overcooked ,little bullets,but didn't say anything. But there was quite a few people there plus they had a 30th party. Had to wait a while for pudding but they did say sorry,in the end we took Grandsons brownie home as they had to get going. Second time of eating in big room and it's cold in there. The man and young waitress very attentive. Coke £4.10 is that expensive(could have bought 2 bottles for that). Wish I had a wine now. Will return but on warmer days,hubby's fish and chips and sons Gammon were fine. And love that they do a children's menu,and he said ohh these are the best nuggets. Just me then,so not bad 3 out of 4. Just pop the heating on,it's a big room.
