Station Fish in Reigate and Banstead

Very very disappointing, fish and chips were terrible, fish was overcooked and very greasy, chips were cold and hard ( had to throw them away) cod roe was overcooked (burnt) and saveloy was cold,we only live 3 min walk away and the food was like this by the time we walked it home,was also expensive, will never go back,shame.

Really bad chips! The chips are dry and we agreed are the worst we have ever had in our lives. They look, feel and taste like they have sat around for days or overcooked. Very disappointing. The fish is exceptional but chips sadly are a big let down. We won't go back. A typical chip in the photo, dehydrated and made a loud bang when we tapped it on the plate.

Tasteless but cooked to perfection. Sadly the young will never experience proper fish and chips. Freezer to fryer. There isn't a good fish and chip shop anywhere in this entire area. Another freezer to fryer opened at Tattenham corner.

We love this little chippy, compared to most in the area the food is much better quality and the ladies behind the counter always have a smile on their faces. It's a quaint little building as well, situated on the railway bridge, so if you have kids they'll probably enjoy seeing the station etc. The menu is pretty standard for a chippy although it would be nice to see some more dessert style options on there (fritters for example!)

The chips are awful, too thick ,and hard. The chips were the same width off my sausage. The fish batter is to soft and soggy. Prices are steep.

Tasty fish and chips. I avoided this place for a while, initially, but it was due to incorrect recommendations. (A good lesson in “try it for yourself”) A little bit pricey for the portion sizes. However, not a bad option once in a while. They do gluten free options too!!

A family get together, so naturally an easy meal was on the cards. Yummy, friendly service, didn't wait too long. It is expensive, but heho. Parking nearby. Nice old setting!

Chips: Disgusting. I’m certain they were last night’s leftovers reheated. Fish: Acceptable. Definitely not fresh though. Price: Expensive, even if it’d been good.

This little shop is busy because the food is fantastic, but don’t worry about a queue, they are so efficient and so well staffed you’ll get served in no time - brilliant and delicious- we’ll be back! 👍💖

Sadly not as good as our expectations. Not as good as other Fish & Chips shops in the local area smaller portion sizes and the fish and chips had no taste. Very disappointed.

A couple of times my chips have been a little undercooked and once slightly raw but everything else was perfect and the staff are lovely.

Portion sizes were good and service friendly and quick despite being busy. All food was cooked fresh, however, cod was cooked a little too long, so on the 'burnt side' one end making it dry. Chips were average, again feel they were cooked too long. Better than some but could have been a lot better. 6/10

The batter on the fish was so full of grease it was unedible, after I few mouthfuls I feel sick from the grease. Very disappointed

Pretty bad, the batter on my cod was raw and the chips were burnt on the outside but raw on the inside.

This is probably the only place you can get FRESH FISH.. Again this is fresh fish unlike all other shops you get frozen fish from. Definitely the best fish n chips I've ever tried. Don't go anywhere else! Highly recommended.

Ordered a take away in advance to collect, the telephone service and manner was excellent. I collected our food which was absolutely lovely, the quality and taste was absolutely first class. Highly recommend this fish and chip shop.

If you are going past this spot do not hesitate to pop in. Excellent value for money. I always get the cod. It is one of the best examples of British fish and chips out there.

The food was really good. I dont often enjoy fish an chips but these were good!!! Only issue was the ordering, we waited outside for half an hour before we even ordered. Best to call in advance, even then you could be waiting a while!

Once again lucky to have fish and chips cooked whilst I waited so was so fresh. Large portions and cooked to perfection, worth a visit.

Came across this place today! Very friendly staff and the best fish and chips had in a while! The cod was perfectly done.. wasnt too gressy and the batter was the perfect thickness/crispness. I would highly recommend. Also although its just takeaways at the moment. The inside looks very swish.

I’d love to give this 5 stars but..... The order was missing items, bit annoying to have to drive back and get them. Bit of a palava. I can see the quality is great but food was obviously a tad cold by time we managed to sit down together.

Recently opened in a prime Tadworth location. Excellent cod and chips, the portions are fine and the quality is superb. Definitely return on a regular basis.

Recently opened in the old station building on the bridge over Tadworth station. Station fish is a welcome addition to the local shops within the area. The staff are extremely friendly and the fish was freshly cooked to order. The batter is light and fluffy and not heavy and greasy like some, the chips tasted excellent and the portion size was perfect, all presented in a cardboard box, rather than just wrapped in paper. Highly recommend and I will return soon. Thank you
