Ordered a delivery. The pappadums were a nice colour but were stale and chewy. The Bhajees were very dried out and almost inedible. Chicken Madras, rice and potato were ok.

Whilst most restaurants have evolved to specialise in more regional cuisine. This one is firmly stuck in the 80's with a classic Korma, madras, vindaloo. line up. No issue with this. There's a good reason they are classics. However, the execution is terrible. A decent onion bhaji gets them one star. Apart from that all the dishes were completely tasteless. TK Masala was chicken (not tikka) in a thin watery sauce. No yogurt no spice. We actually questioned whether it was the correct dish. Dhal was a watery, tasteless glop of lentils. We went on a Saturday and only 3 tables were occupied at peak time with only 2 (rather dour) staff and no visible takeaway business. The general impression is that this place is on its last legs, probably left behind as the competition moves on. My view – let it go.

Please do waste your money even trying! I live local, but have never used this Indian restaurant. I looked online and the reviews were better than the next closest restaurant as well as having a good hygiene score, so decided to order our takeaway from here. This is where the positives end. I walked in to collect and there was an awful odour coming from somewhere/someone. Then when I got home I didn’t mention the odour to my husband, as didn’t want it to spoil the thought of the food for him. He opened the biryani, and said it was a bit cold but everything else was hot. I then tasted the biryani and found it incredible dry, normally our go to dish and this was by far the worst we’d ever experienced. I refused to eat it. Moving on to the nan bread, completely stale and the chicken tikka masala no better, we both refused to eat any of it and again worst I’ve ever experienced. I was so unimpressed (hangry!) I didn’t have the energy to go back and complain, nor did I want to smell the odour again. Will just vote with my feet, and I suggest you all think twice about going here.

Been waiting for WHT to open for take away since lock down and so pleased they are again. We had lamb tikka masala, chicken tikka masala and chicken korai mains and were lovely and well cooked. Keep up the good work and your customers will come flooding back.

I have used this restaurant for over three years and have enjoyed every meal, both eating in the restaurant and also takeaways. It is an old school Indian with lovely staff and very fresh food. I eat at top Michelin stared restaurants but as we all know when you fancy a curry nothing else will do. Thanks to all at this restaurant for doing such a good job.

Definitely worthy of a visit if you fancy authentic Indian food in the Tadworth area. The biryani is very flavoursome and the chicken and meat Madras are of excellent quality. I will certainly be visiting here again if I am around the area, as no other Indian restaurant compares to the quality of food served here.

We were in a group that went to the Walton Heath Tandoori recently. The staff are very friendly and the service efficient. The place was buzzing, not completely full but certainly enough people to give it a good atmosphere. All the diners enjoyed their food, but I personally was a bit disappointed as my chicken passanda main course lacked a depth of flavour that I would expect, sad to say it was a little bland. For this reason, I can't give it an 'excellent' but the remaining people in our group were very happy with their food, and, as I say, it was excellent value.

This is a fantastic and very popular little village tandoori restaurant. The food is very good and very reasonably priced. My husband and I have tried many different dishes from the menu as regulars here, and every dish has been very tasty. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the restaurant is usually busy with a good atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this place, and will continue to be a regular visitor.

We have now been three times, including once when the whole area suffered a power cut (which tested the staff's resilience!). We did our usual thing of asking for things that weren't on the menu and seeing how they performed and on three occasions they have. We always feel the one key test is the peshawari nan and this was always good. Other dishes were also good and the vegetable curry was clearly made with fresh veg. I can see why some reviewers have criticised the setting but I guess that reflects the location. The main thing for us was that the food and the service was good.

Having recently moved to Walton from not too far away (Tadworth) I was shocked to find out that it's that bad! Cold and tasted average at best. The worst part of all was the hair we found in it. No wonder "chemical Alleys" has the name it does. Disgusting! And before you all decide to point fingers at a bitter customer then go try it yourself. Good luck!

Having recently moved to Headley from not too far away this ended up being the local curry. Luckily I don't choose to eat it often & in future I'll happily drive an extra 3 miles to my old one. Not only was it cold but it was also terrible quality and poorly cooked.

I have recently moved to Tadworth Village, and have tried a few local Indian restaurants for both eat in and take away, I can confirm that in my opinion this is the best by far. From the popadoms which are a good indication of what is to come, here they are always fresh. ( not the case in some of the other restaurants I have tried ) to the starters and main dishes I have thoroughly enjoyed every experience from this restaurant. I have used this restaurant 15+ times and will continue to do so. Thank you to all who work at this great restaurant.

had a take away from her 5 or 6 years ago and swore never again.. But after a Charity golf day a few weeks months back, This was the venue for a group of us to meet up after the Auction... It has been renovated inside and the food standards have gone up dramatically. I went back with my wife last month and we are there again tonight.. It has gone from strength to strength... It suits us as our daughter goes to school opposite and like tonight end of term disco we can drop her have a great curry , pick her up and it just worksGood when places turn themselves around

Only one other table when we arrived at 8pm on a Saturday night, 2 more arrived whilst we were eating but couldn't believe how quiet it was. The atmosphere and ambience good with modern decor but the food was just ok, large portions but the sauces on the curries were much less flavoursome than we are used to. The service really efficient but it is the food that really counts to us. We have 2 excellent curry restaurants closer to our home us so maybe we are comparing negatively as used to a higher standard.

Tasty food- small portions and expensive. The dips were just average that came with the poppadoms. I had to ask for lime pickle twice the waiter didn't understand the spoken English language. The Dahl was very good. Tiny portion of 3 prawns as a starter some £11 I recall. My wife's main of king prawns was tiny just six prawns of standard size and lots of sauce. We complained and double the quantity reappeared. My lamb curry was tasty small rice served with it. 30% off on the Wednesday.
