Haweli of Tadworth in Reigate and Banstead

Will never order again from this place. Cancelled our order without any confirmation. Very blunt over the phone. Will not even accept a card payment cash only, probably not paying tax!!!! Avoid , old fashioned with terrible customer service.

Picked up an order for take away. Food was well packaged, the staff were polite and the price was reasonable. The food was nice and I’ll be going back again as it is a safe bet for good food.

Staff was unprofessional and rude. It was a waste of time and money. I don't recommend anyone to come here.

Nicest Indian restaurant I've been to in ages, really good Sag Paneer which I always look for and haven't had a good one since Monsoon on Ewell bypass closed around 10 years ago. I will be straight back to this place next time I visit my family here.

We have been getting delivered takeaway food from here for many years and i have never given a review, the food is consistently good always delivered hot and quickly, my favourite is the king prawn sag, thank you to all at Haweli of Tadworth.

I am sorry to write this but when you don’t listen to your customer who has been coming to you for years then this is what happens and as you don’t reply to any negative reviews you clearly are not bothered. I specifically.asked for no onion with my madras tonight as last months was over the top I have just finished half a madras as you must of doubled the onion I picked out half a plate of onion have you over ordered or something I knew my dish wouldn’t be 100% onion free but tonight’s meal was the last straw my meal was ruined after you said there would be no onion. Sorry guys but it looks like I will have to make a 30 min around trip to Blue Mint in Epsom from now on such a shame as it’s always a warm welcome when I come in to collect but if you can’t listen you can’t have my money.

We had a takeaway. Was very disappointed as my chicken dish wasn’t included .. I phoned and complained and was told if I wanted to go get the dish I could !! Wasn’t able to as we were just having our meal !! We sat down to eat after everyone said I could share their meat dish to discover we had three pots of plain rice .. 2 should have been pilau rice… and we had two peshwari naans and one should have been a keema. Sadly we won’t go back !!

Traditional BIR, quality of the ingredients and the taste was second to none. Food was delicious! The family thoroughly enjoyed their meal. I totally recommend Haweli of Tamworth!!!

Fantastic, delicious, fresh food. Service is always brilliant - very kind, hardworking, and generous gentlemen who work there. It's always a pleasure to eat here, and they remember you, too - adds a really personal feel if you are a regular.

When we eat in the food is always perfection, great atmosphere, staff are so polite and friendly and attentive, delivery is always perfect food, great service over the phone, food delivered piping hot, always so happy to go there or have a delivery 😋

Had many meals in Restaurant all great so decided to order Takeaway and sadly was very disappointed. We ordered Butter Chicken & Prawn Balti with 2 portions of Rice amounting £25.80 and to say this was disappointing is being kind. Both dishes were 60% of tasteless sauce, the prawns miniscule and difficult to even find in midst of onion, some cubes of Chicken and nothing else and having little taste as all. Takeaway dishes bear no resemblance to those I've eaten in the Restaurant.

Please update your website urgently! We had a busy morning at home doing all the jobs you usually avoid, and decided to treat ourselves to a lunchtime treat: sadly, after a 1.5 mile to walk to this restaurant we found it closed, despite their website stating they’re open on a Sunday.

I’m sorry to write a poor review but I ordered some food and when it arrived it was cold. Ok, so I understand that the person delivering was busy so I decided next time to collect in person and when I arrived home it was cold. Again!!. I called to complain and someone brought some food round that was hot 🤷‍♂️. I asked for the manager to come but he didn’t bother and the person delivering the food asked for the cold food back which made be extremely disappointed as It was as though they didn’t believe me. I always support local business but I will never have food from this establishment again.

It's been at least 4/5 years since we visited this local restaurant, which is our mistake: we were warmly greeted last night on entry last night soon after they opened, and immediately seated at a table with linen tablecloth and offered drinks and pre-meal appetizers. We opted to have three mains shared between us and a rice + peshawari naan plus drinks, and everything was superbly spiced and tasty and enough left over to take away two containers to enjoy over the weekend at home. Overall cost was everything was under £40, so very reasonably priced.

Ordered take away on a Saturday night around 7pm, didn’t receive food until around 9.40pm, over 2 hours. Was lied to when I called after one hour telling me food was a few mins away. When I received food most of it was cold. I called and requested they come and collect and return my money. They said they would drop it back the next day. Another lie. Thanks to them me and my wife had no dinner and paid £31 for the privilege.

Gem of a place! Staff super friendly and helpful, food is great and very reasonably priced. Try Subz Dansak for a super tasty vegetarian alternative!

the food has ALWAYS been good from Haweli of tadworth. and over the last 13 years we have had some run ins over delivery time.Its all been sorted now between us...£0 a week on our friday curry.. and these guys deliver on time or earlier... f food is great and because they deliver themselves is less than those using deliveroo o similar.. the staff are fantastic and so is the food nothing more is needed

After such a long time have my meals delivered last night was a joke. over an hour late being delivered an cold food. The worse part is after calling them twice they lied both times

Food lacking taste and quality, would rather buy ASDA curry, it has more flavour. Why eat here when you have Chillies at Tattenham Corner, which, whilst dearer, is quality. No comparison.

Very disapointing takeaway. Have used them before and was good but last night half order was missing. Was cold,was put on hold 3 times whilst ordering. Took another 25 mins to get missing bits . Wont be rushing back!!!

We love this restaurant the food is fabulous as are the staff, super clean too. We have been going here along with half of Tadworth for years and have never left disappointed . X

if you want packet frozen veg in your curry, this is the curry house for you, if you want authentic curry keep searching

This was a great place last time I visited 5 years ago.. I would get a better main course from a high street supermarket. Everything is cooked very nicely but the sauce tastes like its made from a very cheap spice packet/jar

Been coming to Haweli for 3years now always had a very warm welcome from the owner Chawdry and his staff! The food is exceptional never had a bad meal ! The lamb korai is a must super clean restaurant , best curry around.

Takeaway service so cannot comment on restaurant. Different dishes which all tasted the same, gloopy sauces, nothing special at all. Followed by a night in the bathroom!

Excellent curry, best lamb I've had in anywhere close to here. Service is exceptional, popped in to get a take away and the staff poured out our beers when they were low. Highly recommend.. ended

One of my favourite Indian restaurants in the area. Good quality cooking with wide variety of dishes including Balti and some delicious specialities. Drinks are reasonably priced and some affordable wines that go well with curries.

I visited the restaurant with my young child, my mum and a couple of friends. We were the only diners, although they seem to do a good take away trade. The staff were friendly and the place is child friendly. I really enjoyed the food, my lamb masala was really good, and everyone else enjoyed their dinner as well. I would def revisit to try out some of the other dishes.

Ordered take away from here for the first time. I wouldn't order again. Food arrived cold after waiting 50min for delivery on a Thursday 5.30pm not much flavour and not much meat. Very disappointed.

Average food, lamb not cooked long enough so slightly tough, spicing uninteresting and not very strong in what was recommended as one of the hottest curries on the menu. Service was of a good standard and food came out promptly, shame about the average food offering!

For 8 years we lived in Tadworth and always came to Haweli for meals out and birthdays. Choudry the owner and all of the staff go out of their way to give you the best service. The food is always delicious. We have recently moved away and we visited one last time- as always exceptional food and service. We will miss this place and it’s staff dearly! Definitely recommend to anyone!

We have used Haweli's for quite a while and the delivery service has always been slow but now it is ridiculous as we never get the full order or you have to ring up only to be told it's just left or as last night they had lost the order!!!! Absolute joke of a place.

We have eaten at Haweli numerous times and I would say it's the best curry house in the area. And there's some stiff competition!

Ordered a delivery last year and although food was good it took almost twice the delivery time to arrive. However, decided to give them another ago to see if they had improved their service. Unfortunately not. I rang to enquire about a certain dish and was told very abruptly to order through Just Eat. So I did and it showed delivery time as 45 minutes. After 1 hour 10 minutes, I rang them to ask where my order was and after keeping me waiting on the phone I was told the driver was just coming up my road. Unfortunately that was a lie because 15 minutes later it still had not arrived (and my road is not that long!) After 11/2 hours, we gave up and rang to cancel the order. We received no apology just an ok. I emailed the, next day but never got a response. Perhaps the service is better when you eat in but I will never use them again for a takeaway/delivery.

Friendly staff, large menu with plenty of choice of the classics and their own specials. Mitch korma comes with a warning of its heat - not wrong! Searing stuff! Portions are good sizes and prices are reasonable.

Some colleagues and I went here for a work meal. Very easy to find with dine parking at the front. From the outside it does not look the biggest, but it is bigger inside. Nice food, service and nice relaxing evening.

My partner and I have been coming here for nearly 7 years. I can of recommend this restaurant enough. The owner gets to know your name, the place is spotless, the food is amazing and great value. Phoned through a takeaway order for delivery. Asked to pay over the phone by card, told only cash or cheque! Dinosaurs! I left my cheque book next to the fax machine in 1999! Went back to my usual haunt and paid by card.

Ordered our Delivery for 7.15 and gets delivered at 6.15 so they got turned away and then returned at 7.15 with fresh food to find that the driver had no change so told him to keep the change and then to top it off we ordered chicken misalla and got chicken midras instead... Will never use these again...

Very welcoming small and friendly Indian restaurant that offers a very wide variety of delicious and very well cooked meals at a well balanced price and a very good drinks menu at a reasonable price...and Take Away and a home delivery service is also available

Waiter walked off with my credit card, questioned why he did that and was threatened by a Eastern European employee with violence who appeared from nowhere. Very scary, Don't risk going there . So many better restaurants in the area to go to.

Lovely evening -good food and great service

The service was slow. We were nearly given another tables food. The plates were not heated and the food was cold and nothing special. I asked for the bill and 15 minutes later I had to ask for it again.

Arrived at 7 pm for an early evening dinner. Excellent welcome from manager and staff. Nice table, spotlessly clean. Drinks and popadoms quickly served. Then the Haweli engine was put into gear ! Superb mains of Tandoori Chicken Shaslik, Khormas and with sides of Brinjal, Aloo's and rice, all done to perfection and all with the most authentic tastes.

Hemos estado utilizando Haweli para comida para llevar durante los últimos 6 años y creo que sólo tenía 2 platos duff en ese tiempo. Siempre educado (saben quienes son), tiempo de entrega, ya que predecir y la comida excelente. Tengo que decir que esta noche fue la mejor en mucho tiempo, así que delicioso, no estoy seguro de que la diferencia era, pero desde luego no tengo queja! Gracias Haweli!

My local curry house!! Went on my own and was refused the window table because of a booking that obviously never turned up. The lamb was so tough it was probably drawing a pension and 3 times I asked for a beer and 6 times did a waiter walk past me doing not much at all. Lied to, lied to, ignored, that's how my evening went.

Takeaway is quicker than quoted. Good food. Restaurant is usually quiet, not usually a wait. Lovely staff. Good value for money. Delivery only in a certain Mike radius and over a certain delivery price.

Haweli always leaves me satisfied. It's a proper takeaway curry: thick creamy sauces and big portions! The mint sauce is a personal favourite of mine, and the mushroom sauce!

Visited a Saturday evening, service is good here, decor nice, very basic menu, just feel the food is not as good as it used to be.

We visited on a Friday night as a group of friends. The restaurant was busy but we received friendly, efficient service and delicious food. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and look forward to popping back with my family.

My fiancé and I have visited the Haweli many times as a couple and with our family, not to mention getting home delivery from them as well and we've never been disappointed. The restaurant is very well decorated and feels classy. The staff are very friendly and helpful and you're made to feel important. If you're not sure on what a dish is they're always willing to explain and recommend dishes. The food is always delicious and all our family are always happy with their cooking which is unctuous and flavoursome. The restaurant makes it feel much more like fine dining but that's what you want in a restaurant. Overall a wonderful experience and must visit again soon!

Always I cook from scratch at home. I get so angry with the so called food outlets around Tadworth and tattenham corner. I have just returned a lamb rogan and pilal rice to Tadworth hawalli I had as takeaway. Totally tasteless, meat stringy and bland. No need to open the rice as the main part was going back. if you like bland tasteless food then this is the place to go.

We often get takeaway from here and the food is always really good. I have also eaten in and the service was good and the food was up to its usual great standard.I took my 2 year in the other day to collect our curry and they were very friendly with her.I would recommend this place for takeaway and eat in.

We call in here early some evenings and get excellent service and good food. Staff are attentive but not overindulgent (with only us seated!) so it's a good pleasant quiet atmosphere.

The Mirchwagan Korma is not for the faint hearted, but try it, it is a gem in the heart of Tadworth! I like this place, it's not pretentious.

Went for dinner last night and thought this was quite good. Not quite as good as the other Hawelli near us, but nothing wrong with it. The food was fine, service was fine.
