Five star food and five star service. Huge portions! A piece of meat was the size of my hand! Proper Polish cuisine, freshly cooked.

Went for my daughter’s birthday. Service, food and atmosphere great. We had a lovely time and they spoilt the birthday girl. Will definitely come back!

I visit fairly regularly - lovely food in an unhurried atmosphere. It's a shame that the toilet is very grubby - the door, paintwork and skirting boards etc. are ingrained with dirt. The loo itself was clean though. Just a bit off-putting.

We went for dinner with friends. The food was amazing , and the service great .the only think i didn't like it was so busy and only one server, he needed help .but lovely place to eat .

Great little cafe. Stopped for coffee and pastries, very friendly and cosy feel and the cruffin and croissant were delicious.

The Angel Bar in Caversham is an absolute gem! From the moment we arrived, the owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home—even with young children in tow. It was so refreshing to find a place where kids are genuinely welcomed (until 7pm), and the relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere made the experience all the more enjoyable. We were so comfortable during our visit, and the thoughtful touches made all the difference. The kids were thrilled to have babyccinos made just for them, while we enjoyed a lovely drink in peace—a rare treat for parents! The parking was also super convenient, which made everything so easy for us. It’s clear that the team at The Angel goes above and beyond to ensure everyone feels welcome, and we’ll definitely be returning. Whether you’re stopping by for a family outing or a drink with friends, this bar is a fantastic choice. Highly recommend!

Food is very good, a little on the pricey side for the portions you receive, which are reasonable but not massive. Service is great and a wonderful atmosphere

Nos encanta el mezze de carne y los postres que Ketty y su equipo crean. Siempre es una cálida bienvenida allí, y recomendamos Spitiko a todos los que conocemos.

¿Puedo decir que soy un poco de un comedor quisquilloso, pero anoche tuve una encantadora comida de Navidad en el Crown (halagos al chef) sin duda lo recomendaría y espero comer allí de nuevo.
