Spectacular selection of fantastic food. Been here many times and the quality is consistently top notch.

Lamb koftes were the best! Lamb chops...bit thin Tasty grub and was busy on a Friday night!

Eaten there twice while visiting Reading on separate occasions and both times shared the mixed meat platter with some additional side dishes. It's really good.

Restaurant interior is basic but that belies friendly and efficient service service and tasty food. I enjoyed the humus beiruti and chicken tagine. Nicely spiced. Reasonable prices.

Discovered Lebanese Village earlier this year. Caversham is full of superb independent restaurants - and Lebanese Village is one of those superb restaurants. The food is totally delicious and generously portioned - both eat in and takeaway. It’s one of those happy menus where you can’t go wrong. Have tried both the set menu - which is really good value - and gone a la carte. I could write a poem about their halloumi flatbread. Wow. So soft, salty and moreish. Their spiced potatoes are amazing - and perfect dipped in garlic sauce or labneh. Their baba ganoush - words cannot describe how delicious it is. It’s a good thing I can’t make their baba ganoush myself as I’d be about 50kg heavier. The salads are all beautifully dressed and seasoned. Their chargrilled meats are all flavourful and tender. Have tried most of them and again, you can’t go wrong. The lamb ribs deserve a special mention - I think they are really hard to do right and LV are masters of this art. The chicken tender dishes are gorgeous too, if you’re not a lamb fan. Ignore what the reviewer says below about average garlic mayo and average Lebanese food - he/she is dead wrong on both counts. This is the best Lebanese food I’ve ever eaten. And the garlic sauce is a proper aioli. Order labneh if you want something super cooling. Please do visit LV if you’re in town - they are lovely people who are very good at what they do, and they deserve your support.

Great family run Lebanese restaurant, fresh food and superb service. Not glamorous but authentic.

Cannot emphasise enough how tender and delicious each element of the Mixed Grill was. Yummy!

We have ordered takeaway from this restaurant many times so we decided to try eating in. Lovely food, just like our takeaway experience but obviously even hotter so always good. Best Lebanese in Reading for us. Nice decor, although maybe the pictures on the walls are from North Africa not the Lebanon? Anyway I thoroughly recommend this restaurant for a pleasant evening meal.

Had a fantastic late lunch. The food was cooked as I would expect in Lebanon taking into account the limitation of available ingredients, of course. The meat mix grill was spot on, and the hummus was authentic. Will come back again to try more traditional dishes. Loved the Arabic music in the background! Very nostalgic for me.

We visit here every couple of months or so and have never had a bad meal (unless something hasn’t quite been to our taste, if you know what I mean) Visited tonight and the place was heaving. Good to see but I was worried that service and food quality might be affected. However we need not have been concerned. Lovely food as usual, fantastic service too. Couldn’t fault a thing. Definitely one of my go to places in Caversham and even Reading Would highly recommend

Staying over night in Reading we needed somewhere to eat and read the reviews of this place so gave it a try. Food was top quality (we had a sharing platter plus hummus) and service was really friendly. Would definitely return

Celebrated our wedding anniversary here. A lovely place with very authentic atmosphere. The staff provided good service. The food was tasty, especially the starters, absolutely delicious baba ganoush dip and tabuly salad, chicken liver was pretty good. However, the main dish (mixed grill for 2) wasn’t as good as it usually is in Lebanese cuisine. Also I removed one star because there was just one toilet cubicle which is not enough as the restaurant seems to be a popular one and was pretty packed. Still would come back and recommend as the starters were incredible.

Disappointing experience.. Got the mix grill for one, but the meat was very dry and the rice was just okay. I also ordered kibbah, which lacked flavor. Instead of the vine leaves I ordered, I received chicken liver, which was mediocre at best. The tahini sauce was as light as water. Overall, the food was very expensive and low quality. I definitely won’t be trying them again based on this experience.

I never went to this place or ordered via app as I thought it was Persian palace (I never noticed the shop). I went to Persian palace before and was disappointed. I ordered from here a couple of weeks ago and the food was delicious! We had the special mixed grill for one each, the food is great value! I will come visit the shop soon. If you are looking for “persian”/“Middle Eastern” food, these guys are better than their neighbours.

Great place to have some lip smacking Lebanese food! Ordered the chicken platter and every dish in the platter was just full of flavors. Ordered batata harra and baklava also and both the dishes were decent. The service was pretty good and efficient. Would love to visit this place again and also highly recommended to anyone looking to try some authentic Lebanese food.

The food was excellent! We chose set menus (because we couldn't decide), and everything was delicious from the starters to the main course, the starters were full of flavour and the meats were tender. Big portions too! We were delighted (and very full), and the customer service was lovely too. Highly recommend!

Excellent food and customer service 10/10

The food making process is very lengthy over 30 minutes, so make sure you order your starter straight away . The starter can’t be faulted really good, the mix grill and the homous but they were stingy with the bread tray as only 2 were given on a table sitting 9 people. The main are a write off , lamb shank and chicken tangin I do not recommend at all food was cold and not flavourful. I been to many lebanese restaurants and they were much better. At the end a complimentary tea or small dessert was not offered especially when we spent over £270. Overall the atmosphere is a vibe , but expect the manager the whole staff was really stuck up and not friendly and approachable at all .

Amazing quality ingredients and easily the best Lebanese in Reading. I always ask for extra sauce which is never a problem and they change things in my order with no problem. The chef (Rabia) is really talented and one of the reasons I will keep on returning to the restaurant! Thankyou.

It pains me to leave 3 stars, for months we had ordered from this place and each and every time the food was exquisite and delivered under 30 minutes. However, last time they took over an hour to prepare our order. I was communicating with my delivery man, and he said that the restaurant refused to explain why the food was taking so long, which I think is very unprofessional towards both customer and delivery worker. To top it all off, the food came burnt, and the flatbread was a bit stale. It was such a stark drop in quality that it left us wondering what had happened. Did you change the cook or manager? Were it not for this single awful experience, my review would be 5/5.

What a difference. Very disappointed. Have enjoyed many meals here but something has changed. Small portions and have to buy add ons to the main plates to make a meal. No conversation from staff. No welcome greeting or goodbye. Awful. Avoid.

I really like this place. Been here 3 times now and the food has always been excellent. I love trying different dishes and all have been great and good portion sizes too.

Really enjoyed this one. Wonderful food that appeared to be very authentic. We chose the sharing platter as it seemed to have a little of everything. We are far from disappointed. Everyone loved the food. The restaurant was busy so service was a touch slower than I would normally expect but the quality of the service was fantastic. We will definitely return.

Fantastic food. Huge portions. Quick service for a group of 8, all meals arriving within minutes of each other. The moussaka was incredibly good. Only issue was having to ask for water glasses and water refills every 5 minutes. Two jugs were eventually placed on the table towards the end of the meal. Will definitely be visiting again!

Amazing meal. We didn’t book, just called in on a Saturday day night. Had starters, mains and a beer and only £60 with a tip! Bargain. Staff were really friendly, restaurant is spotless and service fabulous Starters Lebanese bread stuffed with lamb and squid - delicious. Mains 2 lamb dishes, melted in your mouth with a lovely spicy flavouring. We will definitely be back

Best Lebanese restaurant in reading. Worth trying their authentic food.

I booked a large party of 26 people for a birthday lunch here and the food was incredible. The staff were excellent to accommodate 2 baby high chairs and 2 kids meals as well as vegan and vegetarian options. The meat was tender and not dry, the starters were delicious, there was lots of flavour. The food wasn’t too spicy and there is choice if you want spice or not.

Really recommend the Baba ganoush, their lamb moussaka isn't at all like the Greek version, it's with cheese on top and rice on the side. Loved this dish but had to share as it's a sizeable portion. I'd definitely return!

We celebrated the office Xmas dinner here this year and the food was amazing!!! and the service was perfect as well. I only have good words and for sure we are coming back here in the future!!

Can't remember the last time I bothered to leave a review, but avoid this place! Can't believe it has a positive rating something must have changed. The mixed grill is 80% greasy rice, the lamb shish is essentially just one piece chopped up in to 3 which totalled 25 grams! The chicken is also tiny, smallest mixed grill ive ever had and dry as hell, just take a look at the picture....

Absolutely delicious. We regularly visit at least twice a month. Always delicious and succulent. With left overs to eat the next day.

We had the set menu; very enjoyable mix of starters but easy to over eat ahead of the main courses. Mixed grill for mains; chicken was the standout but everything was good. We also had a couple of tangines which were great. Service was a bit stretched initially but super friendly and pricing was good. Definitely worth a return visit.

Terrible food and terrible service. None of the drinks I requested were available. Neither was the mint tea and the staff didn't bother to update the availability and I kept waiting for it to arrive . Everything was way too salty. One of the worst falafels I have had in my life . Hummus beiruty was average , babaganoush had only eggplant and salt and nothing else. Service was so poor and tardy . Went with my one year old baby and they didn't even give a bowl and spoon for baby food despite asking repeatedly.

Very honestly it was one of the best Lebanese places, we got loads of hot and cold mezzes, salads and the chicken platter for two as the main course and lastly some bakhlava. The preparation time was very quick and the food was absolutely fantastic. Lastly the staff were absolute sweethearts. Huge thank you to the cooks and staff for making our day so special.

Excellent food: numerous flavours and textures provided a truely tasty meal. A busy restaurant, always a good sign of a popular establishment. Very polite staff made the whole experience relaxing and enjoyable. They also offer a takeaway service which we would definitely consider using in the future.

Some of the best food I've eaten out! Really fresh, flavourful, tasty, great portion sizes, plant-based items are wonderful (highly recommend the hummus and falafel platter). I rarely ever eat out but I ordered this again the very next day which is a first for me!

I love these Lebanese diners, and food wise this is a really good one. We went for the set menu, nice selection of tasty starters, hummus, other dips and small bite sized treats, followed by a very good mixed grill with salad and rice. There was just enough food for the four of us. The drinks were nice and reasonably priced. The service isn't massively attentive, you have to work hard to get attention . I think the staff are trying to cover too much ground, what with all the delivery orders going out as well as the dine-ins.

We visited Lebanese Village as a family of 4 for the family's celebration. The food was delicious, although very salty. Everyone found something for them, it was lots of options of meat meals, vegetarian, as well as seafood. Highly recommend this place. We will definitely come back soon.

True Lebanese Experience! As a fan of Middle Eastern cuisine, I was delighted to find Lebanese Village. The flavours of their dishes were spot on and transported me straight to Lebanon. The use of fresh ingredients and traditional recipes was evident in every bite. Don't miss out on their creamy hummus and mouthwatering baklava!

Great night we ordered 5 x set menu mezze takeaway for a group of 11 of us. We collected and this was timely. Food very. Even had breakfast this morning. Will have to back and eat in the restaurant soon again.

We live locally and have been meaning to try this restaurant for so long. It was a quiet Tuesday evening when we went which wasn't a problem. The food, both starter and main course was plentiful and good. It was the service which we found slightly disappointing. As soon as we had finished our starter the main course would have come out. We asked for it to be delayed because we needed a break and as we were a couple we weren't in a rush. The server was able to delay the food and kindly let us say when we were ready. We noticed someone at the other table in the restaurant had to stand up to get cutlery before the server noticed it was needed. It was a long time after we'd finished our meal before th e table was cleared and when we tried to get the attention of the server to pay the bill we had to stand up before we were noticed. A little more attention would have made a difference to our evening out, but overall Lebanese Village is a nice cosy restsurant and we enjoyed the food.

What a wonderful restaurant! The biggest complaint I can make is that I live too far away to visit regularly. Our party of four - two from Reading and the others from Cornwall - opted for the fixed menu and what a treat we had. Three of us with excellent appetites couldn't finish what was put before us. But it wasn't just quantity it was mostly about the quality as the flavours and wonderful food amazed us. My personal favourite was the chicken cubes and chilli sauce in the Mains. On the downside the service could have been sharper and the automatically charged 10% service supplement may upset some. Parking can be a challenge but there are bays outside the pub around the corner that are good in the evenings and the tyre company almost opposite has space they don't use in the evenings. Anybody with limited mobility will struggle as one of the steps in is quite high. I would certainly go again and our two young friends who recently moved into the area were equally impressed. Highly recommended

I ordered chicken livers… nothing like I ever tried before in a lebanese restaurant, very bitter, no trace of molases… nothing like description. The flatbread was literally tortilla store bought. Food came very late and cold. I ordered from here due to big rating on deliveroo; however I won’t order from here again. The 2 stars are for the tabouleh salad which at least tasted like lebanese cuisine.

The best meal in the Reading area we've had for ages! We got the 2 course set menu (which seems to be available at any time), and it was incredible! Lots of food and lots of flavour. We will be back!

I don't usually give reviews for restaurants but for this place is an exception! I only had the food a couple of times and both times are on uber eats. I must say the mix grill is unbelievable, and the rice they served me was tasty!!! I always request extra rice for alternative and they never disappoint to deliver. Thank you! keep it up guys.

Amazing food, atmosphere couldn't be more perfect, staff so available and ready to assist. This was my third time coming, and for the third time they amazed me with their delicious food, their kindness and the heartwarming welcome. Reccomend 100%. Authencity of lebanese food I would say 99%.

First time coming here. Kept meaning to and eventually got round to it. Not disappointed. Food very tasty, service excellent and a good vibe going. We will certainly return and hopefully bring friends with us.
