Can get a little busy on main shopping days and is on occasion, difficult to get a seat. That said, the coffee and atmosphere are great and the location is just about perfect.

The cost of a latte and a crayfish and rocket sandwich. £11.20 for the delight of sitting in an extra 20% charge. Still a paper cup a dirty table and wayyyy too much black pepper. The latte was lovely but not so nice I’m happy to pay those prices!!

We had the worst experience at the the Oracle Branch in Reading. The staff member, a lady of African origin, most likely Nigerian, was aggressive and abnoxious. We wanted to exchange one of the donuts for another amd she just started blasting us for no reason. Clearly not trained and not fit to be In a customer facing job. The matter got so out of hand that we had to call the Mall Security to intervene. The branch manager was nowhere to be seen. Can you imagine the unnecessary stress just to eat a donut!!! The management needs to address this issue with urgency, otherwise that staff member will successfully shut that branch. Feel totally disappointed and violated!!! Incident happened at 2pm on 5th April 2022.

Food was all spicy even though it says the food had no spice my twins who both have autism and both can’t eat spice noodles were spicy egg fried rice was spicy the crispy chicken was soft no well cooked and spicy and sweet and sour chicken was more like a curry had no crunch and was covered in chilli seeds neither of my kids would touch there’s as would meek them ill as can’t tolerate spice mine was only half eaten as spice was unbearable chicken was rant and all I could taste was chilli seeds. My daughters had mild spice supposedly but again she hardly ate any of hers as eyes were watering eyes were stinging and mouth was on fire and cost me £36.00 with delivery. Tried to report to Uber eats where I made purchase and was told I couldn’t have some sort of refund also tried ringing shop itself but no answer. Absolutely disgusted with this place no wonder why they don’t have any reviews because the food is shocking do not eat here !!!

Came here for a quick snack before a night out. Great service and good food, but if would have been helpful if they had left the chairs available when I arrived after 7pm instead me having to go back out into the street to find somewhere to sit down and eat in the cold. That cost them two stars from me.

It's no accident that I am returning to this amazing gastropub for the eighth time, and it is high time that I gave a review, so here goes. I stumbled across the Moderation while attending a conference at the hotel across the road. By 6:30 pm on a Wednesday & Thursday, the place is packed with customers who, like me, clearly love the food, the beer, the atmosphere, and the attentive and friendly service. So, whether you're visiting Reading or you live locally, if you like Thai food and a traditional pub atmos, the Moderation is an absolute a must!

I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant the most. We sat in the booths toward the rear of the restaurant. Seats were comfy and the decor was good, very tastefully done. The food was nice. Usually I don't like sauces and I had been too busy withy conversation to enquire about the sauce that came with the salmon but I ate everything. The only thing I'd have said is that I like my salmon to be more firm with slightly more taste, but that's my personal preference. I'd definitely go back again.

Very bad experience. I had to ask for the chips to be done more than 3 times, they were dark and full of oil, after having a quick read online this means they are not changing the oil frequent enough. I would not use again.

Muy decepcionado con la comida y el servicio al cliente en Harbour Kebab Hace poco pedí una comida de Harbour Kebab, y tanto mi acompañante como yo la encontramos insoportablemente salada, hasta el punto de que sabía como si estuviéramos comiendo un bloque de sal cruda. No fue solo la salchicha, como sugirió el personal: fue toda la comida. Llamé para informar del problema, y la persona en el teléfono dijo que nadie más se había quejado, lo que implica que el problema estaba conmigo. Me ofrecieron un reemplazo, pero cuando le expliqué que la comida completa era el problema, el funcionario me colgó abruptamente. Me sorprendió la falta de profesionalidad y el mal servicio al cliente. Muy decepcionante experiencia. No voy a volver.

I've been frequenting this hotel for business and pleasure for 14 years,and generally its been a relaxing pleasant experience. However over my past 3 visits, I am sorry to say the service is going down hill. Reception staff try, but don't have the same personality as the previous staff of old. The heating system in the past 3 rooms I have stayed in has been blowing luke warm air. Now during this stay the TV keeps lagging and freezing for 2 nights in a row. The beds are not true doubles, they are 2 singles joined together, which are not the most comfortable to sleep on if cuddling up. The staff changed my room today because of the TV and now its doing it again. I'm seeing cracks in this establishments quality of service.
