Used to go here plenty of times under the old management and had no issues. Visited late at night with friends, got told my card was declined, in the morning I found out that this was in fact a lie and that they had charged me twice. I only expect that this was done deliberately as I have messaged them twice asking for a refund, which they have read and not responded to. I ended up paying £17 for 2 portions of chips which were basically inedible! Avoid!
We ordered a large mixed doner and a large chicken doner but were charged for extra large portions, which felt like a deliberate attempt to overcharge us. The food was disappointing — half the plate was drowned in salad dressing, making the doner meat soggy and unappetizing. The portion sizes were a joke, with the so-called “extra large” doner being smaller than some small portions I’ve had elsewhere. The chips were a small handful, yet cost £4 and were labeled as a large portion. To top it off, the quality was poor — overcooked doner meat and hard chips — and the total bill came to a shocking £32 for two doners, drinks, and chips. Overall, completely overpriced and underwhelming; I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
Really like coming here to eat, staff always nice and food always really good. Just a shame no one ever seems to answer the phone and their online ordering platform is always switched off, because I would love to be able to get the occasional takeaway with their lunch deal!
A female waitress got so rude when I asked if she can let me know if a table inside would be free. She said “no sorry OBVIOUSLY we don’t have at the moment. As you can see.” (And she literally gave me the eyes).
She literally missed my point. It is so cold outside now and IF a table would be free somehow she can let me know. She chose such a rude response. Representing Indonesian, Malaysian, Japan and other southeast asians menu it’s really shameful how this waitress behaved. And also I’ve been here 5-6 times and I kept coming just because I know that the chef is Indonesian where I’m from. Please train your waitress better, it cost nothing to be polite. Thank you.🤗 ~from a very loyal customer-
Atmosphere as always lovely but would never go back for food. They were out of pretty much everything on the kids menu and only told us each time when we ordered. The food they had did not come how described either as they were again out of things but hadn’t told us. It was mother’s day so we tried to make the best of it but really disappointing and not worth the money. We had to stop at mc Donald’s on the way home to feed the kids. A bit of a joke to be honest.
Worst customer service and breakfast served here. The staff are clueless and cannot even put together a breakfast, my hash browns were undercooked, the toast was rock solid and overall such a disappointment. Never coming!
Visited in a recommendation as I had half an hour to kill. So glad I did! Simply the best coffee I have ever had in any coffee shop ( I’ve tried many). Really friendly service and quality coffee. They also have a good choice of beans (they will grind if needed) to buy and take away . Cakes aren’t bad either 😃. If you are serious about your coffee or just like good coffee in a relaxed setting, this is the place to go!

'The Meat was Cold '
First time visit, and the reception was poor from the moment i walked in because i thought i was coming to a Chinese noodle place. The atmosphere was not appealing and dull, but i thought i give it a shot anyway. The food was quick, and he called my receipt number, thinking he would bring it to me. This was not explained from the poor reception i received from the start. Grab your own spoon and chopsticks that's all laid out on a dish washer cloth.
When i got my food the presentation, it looked good, which was handmade noodles and beef brisket.
And to big disappointment, the beef was big and chunky, but COLD once i bit into it and then the next piece. Food poison comes straight to mind. That explains why the food came quickly because that was no way cooked, but the broth was hot.
As for the noodle, that's not handmade. That comes from a packet. Please don't try to fool people by saying handmade.
Never again! coming from a person who loves her authentic food.
Very insulting......£ 10.80 for cold meat. Poor
The place only deserves one star for presentation on food.
But seriously, my first and last.

Staff members are totally rude, don’t like you if you don’t buy any pastries or water. Keep trying to upsell. Prefer the Starbucks much friendlier staff.

First time ordering a takeaway from here and I was very pleasantly surprised. Went for a set meal which was a great price, the food arrived hot, the chicken bhuna was great with fresh ingredients and nicely cooked chicken (with extra coriander as requested) the onion bahjees were crispy and tasty. The bombay potato was nice as was the Pilau rice, the chapatis were the softest I've ever had they were lovely and well priced, Overall a great takeaway and il definitely be ordering again to try some other dishes.
