Best Mc Donald in Reading, UK. Working until 23:00 and not kicking you out at 22:40 as Oracle or Oxford rd one

Very disappointed. They needed 21 minutes to do my order which included 2 cheeseburger and a chicken mayo. Update after 10 months. Nothing has changed. Some very long waiting time. Also there was a poster for face painting every Saturday and Sunday. I been there at 14:36. No face painting and when I asked the manager she starts laughing says that there is not such a thing, and when I show her the poster on the wall she said that she have no clue.

Waited 5 mins at the drive through window, no one acknowledged, then given a wrong order, over charged, really poor customer service, won't be coming back in a rush.

Just been through the drive -thru , got food and parked up to check it, one portion of fries missing, went in and explained and they said sorry for that and we’ll get you the fries, I told them I want a refund as every time I go to the d-t something is always missing. So I got my refund and said I’m off to KFC. Never every will I use Forbury McDonalds (reading) again.

A pretty underwhelming experience when I visited. I have never been to this branch before, I was just travelling through the area. I ordered my meal inside the store and the kiosk printer wasn't working. The displays above the service desk weren't working so none of the many customers who were all standing around, waiting for their orders, knew what was happening. Although I ordered a large meal with a large Diet Coke, the cup was only around 3/4 full and had no ice in it. There seemed to be a general state of chaos with the staff shouting out some order numbers but with nobody around to claim them. Not the sort of experience you expect from visiting a McDonalds...

This is my local maccers, and I’ve worked at McDonald’s in the past, so I know how their system works and can give better insight into why this particular McDonald’s is consistently bad. If you go in to get food, be prepared for a 15 minute wait. Nothing fast about the fast food here. The workers who deal with the front have been trained to mark orders on their screen as completed as soon as they appear. This is not the right way, as the screen is there to show them which orders are currently being worked on and helps them to organise. The workers have been trained to do this by management so that the restaurant looks like it’s doing well on paper, on Mcdonalds’ internal systems. To their boss, who I assume isn’t very involved, all looks well and the restaurant seems to be moving at a fast pace, but this couldn’t be further from the truth. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY THE WRONG WAY. This corner-cutting leads to a massive issue with organisation, and the people on front are just clueless. Be prepared to wait 15-20 minutes until you’ve ordered to have to ask where your food is, only for it to be given to you straight away. Easily the worst maccers I’ve been to

The evaluation is about customer service, Ryder. We deliver the customer's food in the comfort of their home. The employees don't care! We wait for 10, 15, 20 or more minutes for ready-made orders, which we just need to pick up at the counter and hand over to us. Lack of respect! Horrible service!!!!!!!!!!!

Honestly and I'm not exaggerating, the worst McDonalds I've ever been too. The wait for food is just ridiculous, it's not fast food, it's slow food. EVERY time I go through a drive through, even just for a chicken wrap "can you please park up and wait 4-5 minutes". 15 minutes later I walk in myself and ask for it, given straight to you. Why? Because there's ALWAYS loads of food sat in the waiting bay while the 2 usual employees stand there looking all confused as what they're doing. It's absolutely terrible experience every time. Who ever owns and runs the joint needs to actually come in now and then, might realise he needs to employ some semi hard workers rather than these lot.

Ordered on the app where chicken nuggets were offered at £1.39 but then weren't available to order nor was the Chicken nugget meal so had to pay full price for each meal item! Why are you advertising something on the app people can't buy?

It's actually quite a nice branch, but at peak times, you have to be prepared to wait for a very long time, and place does get packed, dirty and poorly kept when it's busy. Seems understaffed.

Ordered a breakfast meal on Uber eats, waited for over an hour (until breakfast menu no longer was being served), then had my order cancelled for me. 5 Uber drivers went to collect, then left because of my order that just never came.

the food was stone cold , looking at the map the guy took was a long way around , instead of looking at the map on site to tell where each number is he must have just rode around looking at all the numbers . had to throw the food in to the bin. waste

Half our order was missing. It was my son’s 8th birthday. With family visiting. Our first ever time using Just Eat. I tried to call the driver, the store, and Just Eat to get the rest of our food. Awful service. It ruined our meal completely.

Went through drive thru', ordered and paid but then had to wait in carpark. I got a bag with my order and drove home where I found they hadn't included my drink. Tried phoning the number on the reciept but no answer, then it cuts you off quickly. If driving thru' check your order before you drive off! Hopefully they will answer my e-mail and refund me ASAP. UPDATE: DESPITE TRYING TO CALL AND E MAILING STILL NO RESPONCE AFTER 4 DAYS!

Great service, accurate orders, food is mostly good, sometImes have the odd dry food, burgers can me made wonky, someone in the kitchen doesn't give a sh*t about quality or presentation, worth a visit

Didn’t add cream or toffee sauce to my toffee latte. Didn’t stir my McFlurry. The lobby staff were helpful and accommodating. Atmosphere was screaming children and a busy chain, usual McDonalds vibe.

I am infuriated with my local shop it doesn’t matter what you ask for they tell you to park up and wait 15 minutes . It’s such a joke they should not call it fast food there’s nothing fast about it.

Go through the drive-thru in the middle of Summer, order a quarter-pounder meal and a mcflurry. Staff give you the mcflurry and then make you wait in the carpark for 10 minutes for the meal. By the time you've actually got your meal your mcflurry has already melted! Such a stupid idea.

The Food Was Amazing. Didn’t Come Cold And Tasted Mesmerising. But About 15 Minutes later, My Stomach Churned And Hurt Quite A Bit. But, I Don’t Think that’s The Restaurants Fault, Might Just Be Me. When I was waiting for my order I saw the staff in the kitchen preparing the food without gloves. Non of them used gloves and just spinning around and touching everything . I asked the lady who give me my order why her colleagues don’t use gloves when preparing the food and the answer was : oh we don’t need them . But you definitely need them specially when preparing food for so many people and kids . 🙂

Staff member was feeding birds in the car park. So much so that birds were sweeping all around the area and pooing all over the place. This is incredibly unhygienic and puts young children at risk.

The food wS stuck preparing for 1hr and 30mins,then I attempted to call the restaurant twice and they never answered. Then my order magically jumped to delivered (it never left nor arrived with me) . I feel sorry for the courier who wasted his time waiting for my food.

Wrong order delivered again. Driver went to pick up the right order and never returned. Had a big tip waiting for him too. Not good enough.

Got asked to wait in the carpark after ordering. Food took absolutely ages to arrive. I saw a server carrying a bag of food around the carpark and got out of the car and approached them. They got visibly annoyed, and snapped at me to say my food would be brought out soon. Another 5 minutes go by, and the same server, with the same bag of food, sheepishly approaches my car, and says it was actually my food. They were looking for a silver car not a blue car. Which is what was hand written on the receipt. What a ridiculous system. Needless to say, our food was cold. Should have complained at the time, but was in a hurry. Really poor experience
