Had the shredded burger 1 of the worst burgers I've eaten completely dry and rubbery tasting

A tasty meal overall. The food was freshly made, god size portions and well seasoned. I’m like the loaded fries, but there could have added a substantial amount of meat in comparison to the fried, to make it even better. The wrap tasted good with the sauces added too. I’d recommend a meal here, just be specific with your order details.

I dunno.. I kinda really wanted to like the burger but it was a bit greasy and not adult sized.. it was OK

This is quite possibly the worst fast food ive ever had. The service was slow, the burgers were completely burnt, and didnt have ANY salad, gherkins or sauce. It's very clear that they have used photos of mcdonald's food to advertise their "food" this was disgusting.

Not joking burger smelt like puke 🤢🤮

We drove miles to get there, I gave them a 0 because they seem open on google but are actually closed...First visit and never do it again.

They taste like the International brand Burger kind and their whooper is as sinililar in taste. HALAL food and they have a good variety. Staff is laid back but fine. Good place to eat in and parking is on the road side and could be found.

Beef wooper is the best burger in the UK.

Very friendly, good service. Tasty smashburger with cheese and turkey bacon (Halal joint) decent shoestring fries. Good sear, beefy flavor but I like a higher meat to bun ratio so would recommend doubling up for dinner appetites. Take cards, clean. Parking outside. Very nice and would come again.

The attention to detail at this place is crazy good and impressive. Got a big delivery and not a single item was missing unlike these so called "big names", every burger labelled so we could all find our burgers, every burger packaged in foil to keep its shape and heat, unlike cold mcdonalds burgers. Every single milkshake covered so it doesn't spill. Milkshakes were incredible tasting also. The beef burgers were jus as good as Mcdonalds and Burger King, if not slightly better, due to better and a few extra ingredients. (huge statement i know) Well done SlamBurger Reading, keep up this high standard and care. people cld learn a lot frm this place.

Updated 28th January 2023: slamburger now have a breakfast menu. But it's very inconvenient when on a Sunday people would like to have breakfast at 9am. You guys don't open the doors till 113am, you don't start cooking till 1300hrs. So no point of bothering to open up. Your competition mcds are raking the money, your next door competitor Greggs have a line of people who wants pasties. The management need to change the times. Your competitors are gaining whilsts your store at its closed and no one comes in hardly everytime I go there. .................................................................................... Al ham dulilah for a MCD'S equivalent. The ONLY issue I have is the flexibility of payment. You can't buy anything via the their website or any other platform as they don't take card payments. You have to go in which is very Inconvenient during the cold months and covid. When you get there you have to use just 1 MACHINE mcds style to purchase with card. Cash at the till. There excuse, "issue with the franchise system" but I feel it's more than that. But other than that a bit slow. Some sort of order must be in place with tooo many people in the kitchen just staring down to the floor or doing nothing. If one is going to make food like mcds then work like mcds.

Everything is perfect in this shop, management is great an give excellent costumer service all staff are polite and friendly i definitely recommend this place, thank you slam burger.

Probably one of the BEST fast food chain in Reading! I’m damn serious!!! I was blown away by their OG doner kebab bread/wrap and the staff are extremely polite. Variety of meals and drinks to select. Slamburger you have got yourself a returning customer! Bless the whole team!!! Thank you so much and always keep up the hard work 😘👍✌️

Took a group of friends after a day out. Food was outstanding, everyone loved the burgers and wings. Biscoff milkshake and fondant ice cream outstanding. Excellent value, only bugbear was the only way to pay by card was the order screen which took a while as we had a large group. Love this place though!

Chris is such rude and worst manager! Will never visit here again! Their ordering machine is broken and they are not able to serve me what I ordered! Such a worst coffe he gave me! Order carefully here they don't serve you what u have ordered! And they ask you to pay extra for replacement order! Such a worst customer service.

It's good tasty food and a massive selection of burgers with some interesting names, the actual establishment is smart & clean. Paying by card is a bit odd, you have to ues the auto teller. Can I recommend - YES Will I go again - YES ** NEW ** They now do breakfast muffins 11/23 - starting to get a bit pricey, still good, but more the odd occasion rather than the goto place it was.

After a long day at work this is the best place to go and eat as they are very helpful and no hassle ideal place to get food

Made a call and collect order just before they closed and they still fulfilled my meal at top quality! Very yummy place to get fast food. First time in reading aswell and they made sure I got my burger appointment on point ! Thumbs up from me!

The double cheeseburger and fries is good. The staff are friendly but I’m so disappointed with the wings. I ordered 6 cause I usually get 3 but I wanted I my sister to try some. All 6 pieces came out way too overcooked compared to when I usually get it and I’m not sure but since the last time I ordered which was maybe 7 months ago, there’s now less chicken and twice the coating like way too much coating to the point you can’t even taste the chicken. We literally couldn’t eat them and had to bin it.

The food is very good. Loving the Algeria sauce. Wings are nice and big. I had the mix burger which was great and had wings. Price is a bit high but well worth it. Will 100% go back.. Can be busy but at the same time they do get the food out quick.. Finger licking good...

Food is good, on service well this is the second time my collection was missing an item. Fun fact dont order via the slam burger app or website as they don't accept those order😱😱. To order in shop u have to use a very slow touch screen and if there is a queue then good luck as there is only 1 installed. You can order at the counter if u pay cash 😱😱.

I'm not from Reading so don't get the opportunity to go slamburger much. This was the 3rd occasion I've been. This time there was a basian brother working there (didn't catch his name) but he was extremely accomodating, helpful and approachable. The food as every time before was absolutely on point. I recommend the Smokey double cheese burger and BBQ wings.

The food is always really good. I visit quite regularly and I feed my face. The service is great - my only real gripe is the cash only tills and the single wall ordering point (which will accept cards). They really need a second terminal in there. Decent place to munch and the food is always bang on. A blatant play on Burger King and worth the dollar! 👍👍

The burger was good with decent sauces, however is it normal for gloves not to be used when handling food? There was significant cross contact with other things without hand washing.

I swear by God I am so sick of these guys. I've spent hundreds and I mean hundreds of pounds on uber eats buying from slamburger. EVERY TIME they forget something. Even if you write it on the notes. This time they sent me milkshakes with no straw. 3 meals with no sauce and chicken nuggets missing. I've mentioned this to them nicely so many times now. I was even contacted by there head office and asked to review there stores and be given free food as I have a big following on social media but I've literally refused. Everything has gone downhill even the taste. Fat twins is better. I'm going to be spending my money there from now on. I'm sick of having to be left with a delivery that always has things missing. I'm done. This is the last time I ever order from slamburger . Literally the last time.

After the pub over the road turned us away as they don’t serve food in the day anymore, we popped in here and was delightfully surprised - whilst I doesn’t look much from the outside, the food is actually really good quality and really tasty. It was all cooked fresh and the staff were really attentive and lovely. Will be coming back

Their foods are halal and very yummy. They always have balloons for kids to take which is a very good idea.

Slamburger delivers a high quality yet reasonably priced meal for students and parents.

Surprised how small and almost empty a donner wrap can be 😕 I was more hungry after I eat it. There was no other customer than me and behind the counter I count at least 4, nevertheless this half donner wrap took them a good amount of time for them to prepare.

Today me and family members ordered from slamburger Reading; and the customer care and service was phenomenal! We ordered 10 minutes before closing for collection and when we arrived it was ready to go! Also, freshly made. As we were not local, the main man at the front desk insisted we sat down in the store to eat our food even though they had closed! Food was amazing Alhamdulillah, thank you Slam Burger reading highly recommend!

miser burgers what all i can say. i ordered double chicken whopper burger. it supposed to be 2 chicken steaks inside.but they just put few chunks of dry chicken even half of the burger is empty.worst quality

Good food and staff & building are very nice

I previously wrote a review that was quite negative, however one of the owners - Ateeq contacted me and requested that I return when he was there, and to sample the food again. My family and were not disappointed this time. All the food was fresh, well prepared and well presented. The service was also great. I won't have any hesitation in returning there again! Anyone can have a bad day, which must have happened when I previously visited.

Have been several times, each was great! Fast service, helpful staff and great food! I love the peri peri mix burger, and the fries are definitely top tier. Much better than Burger King and it costs less! The ice cream and milkshakes are awesome too.

Garbage, all reviews left by their friends. Poor quality meat and buns served in a nice environment will fool most people nowadays. Saw the owners sit at the front of the restaurant like mob bosses giving their minimum wage staff feedback as if they’re a big corporate paying good salaries.

Great burgers of all sorts, grilled, fried, chicken, beef & mixed! All drinks, doner kebabs & everything in between! Speedy delivery from delightful staff. Spacious dinning hall. Order yourself in a digital board or walk in to the counter. It is the closest to the University of Reading Whiteknights campus. 🍔🍟 Burgers were delicious and wholesome. Great for kids, it comes with a toy 🧸 Serves Halal food 🥘 Prices are lower than similar (much lesser clean) places. Recommend!

Been going to this place for a few months now, food is incredibly delicious, and their milkshakes are just to die for!! I cannot stop drinking them, been my craving throughout this pregnancy.. Lovely staff. Food can take a while to cook, but tbat doesnt bother me because they cook the food fresh everytime. Everytime i go in, you see them freshly cooking and making it.. Not just grabbing off a shelf! Definitely would recommend to anyone. SPICY FOODS TOO, BUT AMAZING!

This is part of a chain of halal restaurants. It is a bit like McDonalds or Burger King. The food is good and fast rather than gourmet. It is better than McD or BK, there doesn't seem to be a lot that is different on the menu. But my burger was very tasty. The restaurant was clean and the food came out promptly.

My burger was cold. My friend's fries was cold too. Is energy saving a matter of serving food in not the right temperature?! Tables were not fully cleaned. Their chef didn't have gloves on.

Really good service at Slamburger after visiting a friend in Reading. Flexible stance on altering your order that other "mainstream" establishments cannot cater for. Selection of drinks were incredible too, I would just go back for the Mojito flavoured 7up!

Service was really good. Burgers well-seasoned, chicken nuggets as well. The fries were crispy and mozzarella sticks hot. Clean Restaurant, they even have a sink to wash your hands near the counter!
