Chilli potato is filling and delicious

Restaurant took ages, food barely warm, very bland, small portion size. Waste of time and money.

2024-11-25 I have not yet had any response from Wendy’s about the standard of the Coke from the machines. Wendy’s would you care to comment? 2023-06-30 The Coke machine produces drinks that are so watered-down that you might as well be drinking water. I mentioned it to the manager. She offered me alternative drinks but said she could not do anything about the drinks machines. I have sent messages to Wendy's head office. Until I get satisfaction on the drinks machines, my review remains at one star

Order arrived with drinks/sides as small/medium instead of large, burger ordered without mayonnaise (due to allergies) arrived completely full of it.

Stopped off between jobs as just had to see if it was like i remembered and sadly not. highly priced and not all that. friendly staff would have helped

Only two toilets and one was out of service and the other was occupied for 30+ minutes by a non customer, then a queue of non customers who went in there too That needs sorting out None of the power sockets work Maria was excellent and fast service Food wasn't as good as before and a lot more expensive. The avocado was generous but expensive

I lived in Reading for 5 months and loved eating especially at this Wendy's, the food was always fresh and the service was top notch, especially from the manager Maria. Good Times and Good Memories

Was in town to see a show at the concert hall and wanted something quick, so popped into Wendys. The burger was well made and the chips were very good. The drinks selection was decent so will definitely be making a return to explore more of the menu

Disgusting. A small amount of melted cheese that looks like it’s been puked on.

Very different experience for me....but I was saved by a young helpful floor worker who worked the order machine for me and kept my cost down .. tasty meal I will use again 🥳🔥

The order console is a nightmare to use, continually offering additional items, and then having completed the order inputs the option selections aren’t even correctly displayed! Music way too loud. Burgers average.

First tried Wendy's in the States. Exactly what I remembered fantastic taste prices, ok, great service my kids always scream for Wendy's when we go to Reading. Just wish there was one in Bristol

Just stopped by, ordered a baconator. More pricey than common competitors but worth every bite. The cheese, bacon all had great flavour as opposed to most fast food services and the burger itself was incredible, well seasoned and meaty. On a side note, service was fast and staff polite. Experience ,exceeded expectations

Order took long time to dispatch for delivery, food was colder than normal

Overall, ok. The food was a lot worse than it has been before at other locations which is disappointing. Burger was overly dissapointing and the chicken nuggets were chewwy. The staff were polite, considerate, quick and efficient at preparing the food and made the experience better. The vibe was alright.

We ordered three burgers at Wendy's, and unfortunately, all of them were tasteless. One of the burgers was undercooked, but when we pointed it out, the staff member insisted it was cooked and, in a moody tone, said, 'I’ll ask them to do another,' without any apology. The replacement was fine, but the lack of courtesy and the unpleasant smell in the place added to a disappointing experience. It was also extremely pricey for what we received. We also uded their water machines but the water was absolutely warm. We expected better quality and service and will not be returning. Myself and the people I went with are absolutely fuming with the experience.

Wendys has got to be one of my favourite us chains in the UK! Bought my other half here for lunch, had the baconator which was insane and she had the ceaser salad (she said its the best she's had) highly recommend

Tbh, we have only opted for Chicken burgers at Wendy's and if this was the choice, I would rather go to Popeye down the aisle.

Delivery was fine, its the food itself was kinda cold and i dont think 2 items should cost £10, especially when the wrap can be eaten in like 3 bites.

It's been a really long time since ate at Wendy’s, but as we passed through Reading, we thought a meal would be nice. We both ordered the vegetarian bean burger. As someone else has mentioned, there are no distinctions marking special orders and as I ordered his as it comes and mine without mayo, I had to open them both to determine which was which. Not a big deal, but it would be easy to put a “special order” sticker or a mark on the wrapping to show it’s different. With it, I ordered cheese fries and a chocolate frosty. The cheese fries were meant to come with a cheese sauce on it, but when it came out it had cheese sauce and some really plasticky cheese shreds on top - cold. I can’t imagine anyone would want to eat unmelted cheese shreds on top of cheese fries. It was remade without the cold cheese on top and it was nice, but had that been delivered to me at home for example, it would have been binned with that cold cheese on it, and I would have been very displeased. One of the two water/ice machines was out of order, but at least they had a back up. All toilets were out of order when we went in, and it seems like this has been a long term issue as the tray and rubbish was returned in front of the door to at least one of the toilets. This is not great for customers. Also, what are the employees expected to do if they require a toilet? We had a decent meal in the end, but at just under £10 each, we would have expected a bit more to be in order and working.

I have been in contact, well tried to be in contact, with Wendy's In Reading since 19th August. I then emailed again 27th August and only a few days ago was I emailed about a refund. All gone quiet now and no reply everyday. Burger was pink and we didn't eat our food, had enjoyed this place before but this experience has left a horrible taste for us not to come back. I still don't have a refund or someone actually trying to help, nearly two months after first contact. I wrote in my emails I would not leave a review if I got a reply but I didn't. Be careful with the food here and check before you leave so you don't get food poisoning from undercooked meat. The chicken nuggets were poorly cooked too.

The food is so good! It was way better than I expected. Went there a couple days ago. There was staff from Hong Kong, and she was so helpful! My family is not good in English and didn't expect she could speak Cantonese. So helpful, thank you Heiman.

The Frosty was a delightful treat as always! 🍔🥗🍟🍗🥓🍦 The staff (Delia, Patrycja, Maria, Sophie, Nicole, etc) were super friendly and efficient, ensuring we got our food quickly even during busy hours.🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 The restaurant was clean, modern, and had a great atmosphere. Overall, an outstanding fast food experience that I’ll definitely be returning to. Highly recommend!👍🤗🌼

I recently visited Wendy’s and had a fantastic experience. The moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile, and the service throughout my visit was top-notch. I was particularly impressed with Tana, the assistant manager, who went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect. She was incredibly attentive and genuinely cared about my experience. The entire staff at this location was very nice and friendly, which made my visit even more enjoyable. It’s not often you come across such a dedicated and pleasant team in a fast-food restaurant. The restaurant was clean, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the food was fresh and delicious. I ordered the Baconator, and it was cooked to perfection—juicy, flavorful, and exactly how I wanted it. The fries were hot and crispy, and there was a great selection of drinks to choose from. Overall, I am very happy with my visit to Wendy’s. The excellent customer service, led by Tana and the rest of the wonderful staff, made all the difference. I had never eaten in a Wendy's, in France we don't have one. I'm not disappointed, the meal is good, the price affordable, the menus original.

Giving 4 stars because their burgers are fantastic but whatever you do don't go there for breakfast! They don't seem to know that muffins should be toasted so it's all weird and bready, and what they call "breakfast potatoes" are just spiced wedges that I could buy in any supermarket, they certainly have no connection to breakfast! Service very slow in the evenings because they prioritise deliveries over customers who have actually bothered to turn up to the restaurant.

No bacon on the baconator fries, want a refund on those

First time in a Wendy's, very nice overall! The food tasted great, I was amazed by how quickly my food was made, and I considered the price quite cheap for what I ordered. Impeccable first impression.

Everytime I finish my late shift, I swing by Wendy's on my way to the station. Service has always been good and the food even better. Ellie served me tonight and she was a delight. I will definetly be coming back :D

First time ever eating at any Wendy's in the UK and this one left a very good first impression. Restaurant is extremely clean, you get refillable soft drink and the service was fast. Had the biggie deal and my chicken burger and nuggets were absolutely delicious. Have to knock down points just slightly as the fries were just a tad cold, but they still tasted good regardless. Do recommend, close to the train station too!

Visited here for the first time. Excellent burgers! I had the triple, and all I can say is 🤤🤤🤤 it was delicious! It's definitely more on par with a Five Guys rather than a McDonald's ect. The meat was good quality and bun was soft and just right. I visited a Wendy's in the US so wasn't too sure what to expect for a UK outlet, I was pleasantly surprised! 🍔 Will definitely visit again when next in Reading

They were cleaning the coffee machine when I ordered and they not only told me about the wait shortly after ordering, they also brought the coffee to my table once it had done. Very good service from the team here, thank you

Ordered for 7:30 came at 8:20 order wrong only thing right was chips got a chicken burger which has avocado in which I’m allergic to so not able to eat any of the food because of cross contamination
