I and my wife were roaming around paprika and i had seen a lot of brochures about this place so we had to give it a try. So i ordered chicken tikka masala and chicken jalfrezi, 2 of the most cliche and commonly ordered sabzis in UK for indian food. Both were more horrible that each other, the chicken tikka masala was uncooked and sweet and raw…. the jalfrezi was tasteless too and the chicken was not properly cooked either, it was hard to chew…. what a horrible experience, i gave 1 start coz i cant give lower than that here.... This is 2 years back, i believe the ownership is changed now

The food is really tasty and reasonably priced too. The staff are also very friendly.

I ordered online, but the food was lovely. Quick delivery and the worker was kind, friendly and very smily. 100% recommend. Food is throughly cooked aswell

After a disappointing order back last year we decided to give this place another go.. Under new management however placed an order arrived within the hour minus the Garlic naan, called to tell them no offer of a refund as what was the point of delivering after we had the curry. Really really disappointing won't use again

Really tasty spicy kebab on a Tuesday, rather bland kebab on a Thursday. Very variable. Can only comment on kebabs. Which were not below par really. Other options are probably perfectly decent.

Enjoyed a couple of beautiful takeaway curries (Korma and a Rogan Josh) whilst staying in Reading. Quality ingredients, very tasty and good portions.

We ordered the set meal for 2 and my god, it was enough food to feed an army!! The lamb and chicken was delish and cooked perfectly! They even gave us complimentary Samosas! Best curry I'v had in a while!! :)

Having seen how good the food looks on Insta, We ordered for the first time this evening, and it won't be our last! Ordered online, and the menu is easy to navigate. Had a text and email confirmation straight away, and the food arrived promptly. Everything was piping hot, cooked well & delicious! Also very generous portions. It is the nicest takeaway we have had in a long time. (Particularly liked the spicy poppadoms).

I ordered a lamb curry and rice. Beautiful tender lamb and plenty of it in the container , very tasty would order a lamb dish again . I can’t remember the name but it was the first lamb dish on the menu. Full recommend. Came super quick to my house and the driver was really nice and polite Thank you

Fantastic food and service, I was pretty nervous about ordering from a new place due to my allergies but the staff I spoke to were helpful and informative and I had a delicious takeaway! I recommend their samosas 😋

Apparently they are under new management and as a food connoisseur of my own, I try different types of dishes from different continents with their various cooking delicacies. The lamb rogan I had with garlic naan was an absolute delight. Money worth experience and hoping to visit next weekend.

Tried takeaway first time since it was under new management. If you are looking for tasty spicy Indian food for Indian taste buds, this is not the place. Even the dishes that were flagged as spicy were bland and sweet. It's tailored for maybe British taste buds.

Was walking past, so I thought I’ll give them a try. Apparently they are under new management. Ordered biriyani and chicken kebab. Asked them to make it spicy for me. It was very really good. Can’t wait to try their mix kebab.

Tuesday deal for £18 with a starter, main, side & rice/bread is worth the money. Madras was unreal.

Excellent takeaway last night, we had Chicken Naga, and yes it was hot but great depth in the sauce, my other half went the other way with a creamy butter Chicken which she said was one of the nicest she has had,, we will definitely be ordering on Friday night many thanks

Food delivered but was missing half the order. When I called they kept making excuses about the order not printing. They agreed to send the rest of the order but by the time my food arrived my partner had already finished his and mine was cold.

Clearly one of the neatest tandoori I ever had. Food consistency is outstanding. Very friendly communication. 10/10 would order again.

Took over 2 hours to deliver food. Tried to cancel and refund after an hour and a half, to which I was told no. Unhelpful and incredibly rude staff. Avoid at all costs!

I would like to speak to the owner of the restaurant. The man who take your phone call has just told me that he cannot send my order because they are very busy today. Why have they accepted my order on Uber eats… Highly unprofessional and very rude staff..

Been ordering here for over two years, always brilliant, fresh food delivered quickly. Chicken dhansak is fantastic, will only eat from this Indian restaurant in Reading as others have not been great. They also do private catering.

The food tasted good, was hot and arrived on time. No complaints there. However, I felt that the person I spoke to on the phone lacked customer skills. I requested a substitution and the answer was a quick "no, it does not come like that" to which I responded that "I am aware but I am requesting a substitution of equal value; Not a full portion of something else. What is the issue exactly with making this type of change?" but that was answered with a simple "ok, this time but not next time" and when I posed the question again as to why that was a problem essentially the person was not wiling to converse and hang up. Overall not the best ordering experience. It would have been good to be given a reasonable response, particularly one that demonstrated that they care about what their customers want.

I have always had excellent food and service from Paprika, the socially distanced drop off has worked well. I am sad to see some negative reviews as this restaurant has always had great food!

Me and my partner order a pretty large amount for the two of us. The food was outstanding, I would highly recommend Paprika. The brief service when collecting was great too. As we have recently moved to this area, we can't wait to try the whole menu!

The worst restaurant No one answers the Restaurant phone, got some mobile number from uber eat called and the guy just told me my address is too hard to find and will take another 1 hour to deliver food and hung up the phone

I m righting this on bel half of my friend. He said the service was long and the food tasted bad.

Had a chicken tikka kebab from here last night and it was really good, served in naan bread. My friends had a mixed kebab and they were very happy aswell. Service was quick and the quality of food was top notch.

Not great - food was terrible . Delivery driver was rude and incompetent . Would not use again . Caversham tandoori much much better

Fast delivery but they have achieved the unachievable: food that is both hot and spicy, and yet bland at the same time. Worth a try, but won't be ordering from here again.

It's a little bit hit and miss. The portions do vary as does the curry itself (I'm guessing depending on who makes it). Delivery times do vary. If they say it will be with you in 45min be prepared for it to show up actually 90min after the order is placed. I've had both good meals and terrible ones from here. Take a chance though. When it's good it's worth it!

What a disgrace ordered on just eat. When food was a hour late they cancelled the order without telling us at all so then you can't leave a review.

Amazing taste and prompt delivery!

The past 2/3 times, the food has given us all deli belly. The last time I ordered; there were hairs in my takeaway, pretty gross.

An insult to the indian cusine. Korma too sweet and vindaloo too hot! Will not try again.

Food is great. However DO NOT pay in cash. Driver had no change! Tried to charge me £9 too much! Still awaiting full amount of change for order.

I ordered from Paprika Takeaway Reading and the food was to my delicacy. I would recommend others to order from Paprika Takeaway as they give fast delivery and the food is always excellent. They deliver great customer satisfaction and I will be a loyal customer to Paprika Takeaway.
