The best restaurants in Abbey Reading South East

The garden is very beautiful, there are tables in the open area and indoor sections with TVs in the garden.

A very nice hotel, very central. I booked in here due to my flight from London Heathrow being cancelled (power outage), so I had to spend the night. Excellent bathroom, almost always my main complaint, but no complaints here!

Service left a lot to be desired, but the food was great. We had pani pur, steamed veg momo and pan fried chicken momp to start. Sadly the veg momo had paneer which we didn't know until it came, meaning I couldn't eat them. However they were devoured by my companions. Then we got 3 thalis. 2 chicken and 1 veg. A nice variety and meant we could try a little of everything. Can't compare to other Nepalese places in oxford as this was the first one we tried. If service was better/friendlier/faster it'd be a full 5 stars Prices were reasonable. We would all return.

Terrible service. The waiter would roll her eyes at you and ignore you. If the manager could see this review, I sincerely suggest reconsidering the staff training. Extremely impolite and very rude. I can't believe I got rolled eyes for just buying a cup of coffee.

Staff acted annoyed because I came in 3 mins before closing time to grab an espresso. Something which takes less than 30 seconds. Incredibly rude like she was doing me a favour by making it. So I said nah forget it and left. Either serve me, or don't, you haven't closed yet, so you should serve me, and if you don't want to then at least have the gaull to say I don't want to serve you because I want to close early, don't serve me and act like you're doing me a favour and I've pissed you off. Anyway, no stress, I won't be back. Not my fault the clock on your till is 5 mins fast and says it's 6:02 when actually I'm writing this now and it's 6:02 so how could it have been 6:02 when I was in there 5 minutes ago. Ludicrous. Good honest food, friendly staff. Good for families

Very rude staff at front of house. don’t treat customers fairly or nicely. I asked for a student discount which is applicable and wasn’t granted to me even tho student ID was on me, one of the front of house staff members called Eurfan was rude to me and said “ lower your attitude don’t come in here with a fit it’s only sauce” when i asked why there wasn’t sauce in the bag. Overall the staff show attitude and degrade their customers just not with me i have heard it from many many people.

Especially the boss, no matter how good, especially the boss, get his address, no, no, what is this, no, the staff have grown their beards.

Vino aquí para desayunar un poco antes de ir de compras. Opté por el desayuno de encierro, ya que no me gustan las patatas fritas con algunas de las otras opciones. No pasó mucho tiempo antes de que mi plato saliera y se viera bastante bien. Elegí el pan integral tostado, pero solo se tostó un lado. El tocino estaba bien, pero me gusta el mío un poco más crujiente. Los champiñones eran muy agradables al igual que los hongos, pero la salchicha era un poco picante. Tomé un vaso de jugo de naranja que costaba £ 3. 25 , probablemente debería haber elegido una botella.

No hay opciones veganas. Habíamos reservado de buena fe para una fiesta familiar de 12 y en el día decidimos mirar el menú en línea. El menú era muy vago sobre si había opciones veganas. Solo después de múltiples llamadas al restaurante donde estuvimos repetidamente en espera y luego cortamos, llegamos y nos dijeron que los veganos no eran atendidos. Demasiado tarde para reservar en cualquier otro lugar

Excellent lunchtime stop. Best loaded nachos that I've ever had and delicious minted lamb hot pot from the specials menu. Good friendly service and great value!

Food was disgusting. £26 pounds wasted

Atmosphere as always lovely but would never go back for food. They were out of pretty much everything on the kids menu and only told us each time when we ordered. The food they had did not come how described either as they were again out of things but hadn’t told us. It was mother’s day so we tried to make the best of it but really disappointing and not worth the money. We had to stop at mc Donald’s on the way home to feed the kids. A bit of a joke to be honest.
