No staff when we walked in, on the floor or in the bar area. Did not have the drink I ordered. Food then came out massively overcooked (to the point that m other half couldn’t eat hers) and this was one of their specialities, then the prices on the bill differed from the ones in the menu (surprise, more expensive obviously). The guy who served us was pleasant though and quite apologetic but would not go back.
This our favourite spot with wirk. Today with our family, we enjoyed our lunch very much. Dan, Beth and Kay were superb & very hospitalble. Will definitely be back!
Visited last evening before going to the theatre, table booked for 5.30, so should have been plenty of time. One of our party had special allergy requirements and so for some reason our server could take the orders for four people and the manager would have to take the allergy requirements. I understand being careful these days but this seemed over the top. So we waited for the manager, who arrived eventually to take the order. We were assured that all the food would arrive at the same time. Of course it didn't! Four meals arrive and the allergy meal 'will be five to ten minutes!!' One meal delivered was half cold and was returned, my burger was not hot but was overcooked, and then when the allergy meal arrived it was incorrect, including elements that should not have been there, such as eggs, and the dressing poured over, rather than on the side as requested; also, drinks were incorrect, serving ordinary coke instead of refills.
The food was served at approx 6.25, 55 mins after we arrived at 5.30, and yet the place was not even half full!
All in all, an experience to forget, which, reading other TGIF reviews, seems all too common.
All this of course on top of the fact that the prices at TGIF are at the top end of the scale, which I don't mind paying if the food is good, served hot, on time and accurate to what was ordered!! Is that too much to ask?it seems so at TGIF MK...

Yet again poor quality fish and chips meal, have given benefit of the doubt on numerous occasions, have discussed with restaurant managers who seem to sympathise with little commitment and a weak apology. Today chips were stodgy and luke warm, there would be more fish in four fish fingers (BirdsEye) of course, peas were cold, have now finally given up, no point in raising a complaint because there no bothered. What has happened to John Lewis of great standards and care.
Very disappointed customer.
Amazing spot for food and drink, was served by Becca who was so happy and was so informative and we ended up with the fish and chips!
Guinness was so crisp and my gf drinks looked cool.
Ordered food at 5.40 pm 14th Feb 25 for delivery between 8.15pm and 8.45pm
It is now 9.20pm and we still haven't received our food
Absolute crock of $#!t
I didn't expect much from the diner. I was meeting a colleague there since my hotel didn't serve breakfast.
I was very clean, and the service was impressive. I don't recall the name of the server, but he was very attentive and professional.
Food was good - average: I had scrambled eggs and bacon.
The rice Isn't exactly great as for the Sauce in the curry powder its thick and just fit for the bin, God knows why the food is cold when it arrives, I wont be using it no more.
Used to come here a lot, but following a refurbishment and then a pandemic, it's been a long time. I used to love being able to "design" my burrito by following along as they created it (no slaw for me please, although extra cheese, mango chutney, oh and black beans) but that's all gone. Now, a chicken mughlai burrito was exactly that, as is, and even the idea that I didn't want slaw was enough to raise eyebrows amongst the staff (who might I add were really not at all friendly, in contrast to staff from years gone by who were always really friendly and had a great approach to customer service).
In addition to our very "as-is" burritos, we also got wrapchos. There used to be such a delicious side. Nachos with generous lashings of cheese sauce, optional salsa and jalapenos. I used to opt out of salsa and jalapenos as a matter of preference, but I didn't get that option, and beyond this whole "no customisation" thing they've got going on, the "generous" amount of cheese seems to be a thing of the past. The cheese was incredibly sparse - I've never known anything like it.
Things were already going pretty bad, but that hadn't prepared me for what was to come. The burrito was ok. No where near as good as what we used to have, but it was fine. That is, at least, until in the second half, I've bitten down into ligament. This had me heaving, but forgivingly, I just spat it out discreetly and put it to a side, then moved on, putting it down to a one off error. I carried on eating until suddenly I'd bitten down on bone. Two different instances in different parts of the burrito - the quality of the meat preparation by this point is clearly questionable.
To be clear, wrap chic was once one of mine and husband's favourite places to go for a quick bite. We would always rave to the people around us about how good it was. Today's visit? This wasn't wrapchic. I don't know what's happened, but this is not that same place we loved for so long, what feels like so long ago now.
I have watched this place get progressively worse over the years. I "used to" buy a large amount of selection boxes for friends and families but now take my custom elsewhere.
First of all they seem to employ obnoxious, rude and unhygienic staff with Napoleon complexes as a standard.
Second, The place is getting progressively dirtier to the point I have had hair in my selection box and I am sure I saw something verminous scuttle under a table on one visit.
Thirdly, The whole covid thing gave everyone a chance to be scared of cash. Personally i like cash and have never been scammed on my cards... because i use cash. Now all the restrictions are lifted. One of the staff members loudly and arrogantly refused my legal tender as i attempted to buy a selection box (is that even legal?) and seemed very pleased not to take my money. I have never seen a business model that doesn't want to take money? But I guess they can have their donut and eat it.
The food is really really tasty, tried food from both the Chinese menu and the Japanese menu and both are good. The sushi tastes fresh and the Chinese food is very flavourful. The staff are polite but sometimes it can be a bit difficult to flag one down to order more drinks as they are quite busy.
Went to celebrate my husbands birthday, which was most disappointing. Had to holler to the waitress to serve us drinks, and she got the order wrong. Ordered 2 thalis, which were below average. The naans were dense, and all the dishes just did not look fresh.
To top it all, when it came to paying, they would not accept cash. The last time I checked, cash was still legal tender. The ironic thing is they are situated in the new Santander building, which could not be closer to the bank. What a joke.
