Used to come here a lot, but following a refurbishment and then a pandemic, it's been a long time. I used to love being able to "design" my burrito by following along as they created it (no slaw for me please, although extra cheese, mango chutney, oh and black beans) but that's all gone. Now, a chicken mughlai burrito was exactly that, as is, and even the idea that I didn't want slaw was enough to raise eyebrows amongst the staff (who might I add were really not at all friendly, in contrast to staff from years gone by who were always really friendly and had a great approach to customer service). In addition to our very "as-is" burritos, we also got wrapchos. There used to be such a delicious side. Nachos with generous lashings of cheese sauce, optional salsa and jalapenos. I used to opt out of salsa and jalapenos as a matter of preference, but I didn't get that option, and beyond this whole "no customisation" thing they've got going on, the "generous" amount of cheese seems to be a thing of the past. The cheese was incredibly sparse - I've never known anything like it. Things were already going pretty bad, but that hadn't prepared me for what was to come. The burrito was ok. No where near as good as what we used to have, but it was fine. That is, at least, until in the second half, I've bitten down into ligament. This had me heaving, but forgivingly, I just spat it out discreetly and put it to a side, then moved on, putting it down to a one off error. I carried on eating until suddenly I'd bitten down on bone. Two different instances in different parts of the burrito - the quality of the meat preparation by this point is clearly questionable. To be clear, wrap chic was once one of mine and husband's favourite places to go for a quick bite. We would always rave to the people around us about how good it was. Today's visit? This wasn't wrapchic. I don't know what's happened, but this is not that same place we loved for so long, what feels like so long ago now.

An interesting fusion of cuisine and highly recommended by everyone I've seen come here. Had to try it myself and the taste was amazing. Would happily come back or try a nearer branch closer to home.

I went back here after a years lock down and what a difference a year makes, pretty poor experience. - Quesadilla was spilt on the hot plate then scraped back up and put back into th Quesadilla rather than just making a fresh one - Chips were sat on the counter for 10 minutes before the rest of the food was ready - One of the server thought his face mask would be more effective around his chin instead of nose and mouth - Using a very grubby looking knife on all of the food, which wasnt cleaned I hope they can improve things as it used to be really good

Such fantastic food. The chaps who I have met have been very professional, polite and accommodating for my awkward and annoying requests! The food is just beautiful, the chicken is perfectly cooked and I love to visit this place. I feel that it’s over priced sometimes but then I’m full for the rest of the day and I think it’s worth every penny!

Excellent fast food joint. This was recommended to me and did not disappoint. Rich, succulent flavours and very filling foods. Staff are also friendly and the seating area was also clean and the heaters available for those cold days. Overall great place to grab a bite on the go.

Working in Milton Keynes I decided to try Wrapchic for lunch. The menu says “Differently Indian” and is an accurate description. I had the Chicken Methi wrap and a Mango Lassi drink and both were delicious. Wrapchic is a real gem and I will certainly be going back.

Had high hopes for this, as I love burritos and Indian and the reviews here are generally good. Unfortunately it does not live up to expectations. The mutton was OK but the curry itself wasn't hot and came out of a microwaveable bag. It's lacking good veg in the burrito, variety of beans.. Etc. Also the guacamole does not taste fresh, taste like it came from a bottle (processed). The price is also a little more than a very good Mexican burrito from a good restaurant. I'm being generous when I'm giving it 3 stars. Having said all that, there's nothing like it in the area, so it's worth a quick lunch once.

Wrapchic is located in the middle of Milton Keynes shopping centre and the scaffolding and plank construction probably isn't going to win it any design awards. But what a place! The food is simply sensational - varied, flavoursome and totally delicious. It's also fairly cheap - the rate is about three Wrapchics to a Nandos :-) It's served by a really friendly crowd who aren't averse to a little bantering while serving and who can explain the ingredients of the dishes available. Add this to the fact that the painted crates provided to sit on are a lot more comfortable than they look and you have a real winner. This isn't just the best fast food in Milton Keynes - it's worth detouring off the M1 just to grab a spoonful.

Have often thought of trying this place, so gave it a go. I should have walked away when I saw the boil in the bag rice being emptied into the food server, but I soldiered on. The service was adequate at best, but it would have been nice to get some recommendations on which toppings/sides would work best with the meal. I opted for a Mutton Madras in a box, with some kidney beans slopped down the side. There is nothing I can think of that would be complimentary about the food. As said, the rice is boil in the bag, and the curry had 4 pieces of meat in a couple of spoons of bland sauce. Overall portion size was less than expected at the price point. You can re-create the meal using a microwave rice sachet and a tin of supermarket curry. I would recommend you pop around the corner to Kokoro where the rice is fresh, the food is tastier and the postions are bigger.

Have travelled to Milton Keynes several times and always wanted to try Wrapchic due to its appealing branding. I just wished they would have spent more time on perfecting the taste rather than branding. And please do not reply faffing about how good your chefs are because your food is not good enough. Perhaps you should be looking to recruit proper cooks.

Came here yesterday and ordered a Paneer Masala Burrito, and was served by a really really nice girl (glasses, headscarf) it was my first time coming and she offered me everything to choose from. Black beans or kidney beans, jalapeños, which sauce etc. Also the food was amazing!!! I came back today to get the same thing for my lunch and was served by a different girl, who just allocated me what she deemed right, without asking me what I wanted in my burrito. I really liked the black beans yesterday but the girl that served me today just put kidney beans in it, I liked the jalapeños but she didn't offer any. I actually had to ask about salsa... I also saw this same girl mess up a ladies order yesterday. Giving her paneer cheese when she stated a few times that she was vegan. My girlfriend is also vegan and she is eating with me today so I'm a bit worried about what's going to end up in her burrito... overall the food is amazing but it's just a shame about this girl. If I'd been served by her the first time I came, I probably wouldn't have come back...

I work in central MK so I was just chuffed to see a new eatery pop up which allowed me to sway from my usual Pret and M&S; lunches. They offer lots of variations and build the burrito (or wrap or salad!) in front of you - it can be a little overwhelming especially with a big queue behind you. However, I usually get the chicken mughlai burrito and its rather yum! Prices are a little more than you'd pay in other places but the portion sizes are large so you do get alot for your money. Try it if you're out and about shopping!

Nipped in for a quick snack with my partner after shopping. We shared a bowl with lamb curry. It was topped with salad that had seen better days - we had to pick most of it off. The curry and rice were lukewarm. The lamb was tough and fatty. The sauce it came in was bland - comparable to a jar of curry sauce. Had been really excited about trying this place but it was a huge let down, we won't be eating here again.

I have tried twice before my verdict and giving up on the fact that I am not going to visit wrap chic again (no matter how much starving I am). Ingredients of burrito which make burritos should be fresh made and not the supermarket types - salsa, chutneys, guacamole, sour cream. Salsa is too sweet, guacamole is the creamy El Paso type (not good), nachos don't have the crispiness, chutneys tastes more like sugar syrups. Good bits - concept is good, but may have to tested as how Indian flavour chicken/lamb/fish tastes with burritos ingredients (need bit of work). For instance chicken tikka flavour overpowers everything else, and that's where the whole concept of burritos falls.

I don't often post bad reviews, but this place was awful. Inexperienced staff produced greasy poppadoms, and massively over-spiced food, making it far too hot to eat. I have a feeling the staff in there were new. I have seen good reviews, which is why I chose it. £135 for five people should get you something special. Not here.

I have been ordering from Cafe balti for over 10 years now. We had placed a order that apparently was not received on the website. We phoned Cafe balti to confirm delivery after we had booked it for 18.00 hrs. The management told my wife it was OK and that the order will be delivered in 10 minutes. 30 minutes later I called and was kept on the phone for a further 10 minutes on hold. I got my wife to call again and she was told that no order was received. I phoned and complained and instead off understanding the situation they tried to blame us for the order. Even arguing with me on the phone pathetic. This place and business have gone down terribly in my estimation. Never will I be using Cafe Balti again Ever. Disgusting service and very un professional behaviour POOR.
