Lovely curry with generous portions and well priced. Been here a few times and it’s always really consistent too. Staff are polite and always open the door for us when we arrive. Just an all round great curry spot. Won’t go anywhere else!

Ordered takeaway for collection. Got it home and found 3 dishes missing as well as a biryani sauce so 4 cartons. Phoned to complain and they offered to redeliver complete order but would have taken too long so negotiated a partial refund which had to be delivered in cash. When driver turned up was accused of being a liar by the chef 😳 as he claimed he had packed the bags himself. I was so shocked advised they just lost me as a customer and then he replied by saying the chef wouldn’t want me back anyway. Never been so insulted by a restaurant ever

We live in MK and have been trying out various Indian restaurants. The higher rated ones on Trip Advisor are not as good as Spice Village, in our opinion. Here, the curries are not as oily, they also have more flavour. Other restaurants are too tomatoey and less spices. The naans have more filling here and they are more generous with their popadums and chutneys. Keep doing what you're doing, Spice Village!

Only ordered a takeaway bit they were very accommodating, collected at 21:5] jist before they closed, and we got a fre extras. Food was also good.

Ordered at around 7:40pm and meal delivered around 8:40pm. So waited for an hour. This was much later than expected and disappointing as normally it is delivered on time.

Great food, good portions and on time, there was 2 items missing (onion bhaji and mushroom bhaji) from my order so I called the restaurant and they sent it out to me very promptly and with some additional poppadoms.. great customer service and a lovely delivery driver, definitely order again

The food didn’t taste like Indian food, lack of taste and the quality is bad even though it took the food too long to arrive. I wouldn’t recommend it to those who are looking for rich spices and real Indian food experience. The food wasn’t foodie and tasteless unfortunately.

Ordered a takeaway..it was supposed to arrive between 18.15 and 18.30..It had not arrived by 18,45 so I phoned the restaurant..only to be told he will be there soon…I went to the front door only to find it had been left on the door stop..it was cold… no knocking on the door or nothing

We ordered and paid via the deliveroo app with a clear location for delivery with a specific location and address and the food never showed up and they refused to deliver. They claimed they tried delivery however I had been stood outside waiting and this was clearly not true. Very rude over the phone and even refused to help with the refund. I certainly won't be going back again

Friendly and attentive service for our table of 16. Food came quickly and my chefs special was of a very high quality. Thoroughly recommended.

Ate here a few years ago and wasn’t that impressed. Decided to give it another try and so glad we did! Loved the curry and the price was great too because we collected. Been there twice in the last month and planning to visit again this weekend. Hope the quality stays this high!

Had a very swift dinner with a friend late on Saturday. Had Lamb Mama with chilli onion rice. Really, really good. Friend had chicken tikka and loved it. Great service. Lots of people queuing for take out, which is a good sign.

I used to enjoy curry from this place as it was full of flavour. Sadly today's was very watery, not much flavour and very few pieces of chicken. I'm disappointed.

One of the Worst experience I have ever had so far in London. I could see that all the staff in the restaurant are Indians but the they receive Indians is just so worst thing to accept . Respecting the customers should be the first priority before offering any food - Staff needs to learn that first. I wouldn't recommend anyone to visit this place as we did had such an unpleasant experience when we visited some restaurant after having a child to actually get some peace time . But this completely turned out be a worst experience for us . Do not recommend at all - be it for food or be it for the hospitality . Just to note , food is not at all Indian - It is way below than the average Indian food we eat anywhere .

I've tried and tested many decent local Indians & spice village is by far my new favourite. Fresh / quality ingredients used in their dishes, good amount of meat in their curry dishes, flavour and spice is spot on every time and their service is second to none even during busy periods. I rarely leave reviews but this is well deserved and have been recommending spice village to family and friends!

First time ordering from here , and it wasn't a bad experience, prices are fair and even got 10% off ordering over a certain price , and the food quality was good for the price , only criticism is the kemanan didn't have much flavour and the quality of the chicken wasn't the best , but over all good food for the price

Been a while since we had been to the Spice Village and the food was excellent. We had the Sunday banquet and portions were excellent and cracking value.

The food was delicious! We had the banquet which was excellent value at £16.95 for a starter, main, side and rice or naan. I would highly recommend. Nothing was too much trouble. I really enjoy a curry and this was particularly good.

Google has my Cottage in the wrong place and deliveries often suffer accordingly. However, I did (and always do) add the note stating "where it really is" but that presumably isn't being passed to the driver. Won't stop me ordering from this excellent restaurant but not ideal!

Nice taste but arrived much later than expected and was barely warm so needed to go in the microwave.

Just had a fantastic meal delivered. Every dish was hot. Tried the Mogul Nawaz chicken for the first time, what an amazing dish. Delivered on time, highly recommend. Given 5 stars for atmosphere, even though a delivery, as didn't want the review to be less than 5 stars.

Ordered from spice village the other day and it was enjoyable (if a little pricey) so decided to order again when we had people over. Requested 2 orders of popadoms, these were £1 each so expected to get a couple in the pack (think I got 3 last time). I received 2 single popadoms that were mostly smashed. £1 per popadom is a robbery, as is £4.50 for two miniature samosas. We also ordered a mild biryani, ordered last time which was lovely. This was obviously the “hot” option and was far spicier and not enjoyable. Very disappointed with the order and for the price, won’t be ordering again.

Best Indian food I’ve found in Milton keynes, Absolutely delicious - ingredients are obviously fresh, and cooked to perfection. I feel really good after meals from here, rather than that sickly feeling you can get after a curry! We had a really delicious dinner! Highly recommended!

Just had the Mogul Nawaz Chicken, Aloo Gobi and Pilau Rice. Everything tasted delicious, you can taste the quality ingredients and the dishes were perfectly balanced; which indicates an experience and skilled chef. The restaurant is big and spacious with comfortable seating and I loved the booths. Staff are friendly without being intrusive. Highly recommended.

FINALLY I have had a chicken masala that tasted as good as the one I used to have in Luton where I used to live. I’ve tried multiple takeaways in MK for this dish and have always been disappointed. The thick and deep bright red sauce (note not brown or orange) was a good indication and it had the sweetness that I was used to having. My husband also tried mine and said it’s the best he’s tasted in MK and was pretty jealous!

My first mistake was thinking this was part of the Spice Village official franchise (it is NOT!) Plus how it was 8pm on a Friday and only had one table full. (All the waiters was giving me and my family dirty looks as soon as we got out of our car. The young lad "waiter" needs to no when to shut his trap him and the manger are arrogant. My step mum who is indian even said homeless indians in there own country wouldn't eat what we was served. Very expensive for poor standard of food. (Watered down everything) Don't be fooled by risk poor asstablishment it's bacially I fake indian. Will happily never return Ps your called "spice village" yet your vindaloo is as mild as a madras.

Suprised this establishment has negative reviews. I've been going with friends and family since it opened and they have always been consistently good at cooking and serving delicious foods. Its not the greatest restaurant in the world but you can't go wrong with it if you want a tasty curry. I've never had a bad experience so I would definitely reccomend.

Just had the banquet deal at the spice village and I must say it was wonderful. Attentive but not over bearing staff, lovely hot tasty food at a great price. Win win win thank you.

Delicious food as always. Friendly delivery, and considering how difficult it is to find my house, that’s a huge plus.

Came in with my Mrs for a takeaway. Honestly, the first time trying and the staff were rude, and when the waiter brought out the food, they didn't say anything. I understand your closing early for a Sunday. However, it was still 30 minutes before closing. If you're not happy taking orders this late, don't accept them and not let customers know by your body language and facial expressions. Made us feel uncomfortable so we waited in the car. On top of that, they made a mistake with the order. I rarely leave any reviews but this has to be said. Really bad customer service.

Very disappointed with the delivery service.. told it would me max 45 minutes...took 1 hour and 20 minutes. Food was then cold on receipt. When complained it seems it was my fault because when I ordered there was only one driver. As I spend, sorry spent up to £30 per week...I will never order from them again...who wants a cold curry?

I’m not sure if this place is under new management but we ordered a delivery yesterday but nothing seemed the same as normal! Vegetables samosas were awful, a pasty inside and greasy outside! Onion Bargees wasn’t what we expected! Tiny and greasy! Chicken tikka balti was awful, vegetable curry was undercooked, some veg was taken out as hard. Although chicken tikka masala and Bombay aloo was both nice but again Bombay aloo was not how it would it would normally be! As was Cut In tiny pieces! Just disappointed! As overall it wasn’t enjoyed!

I expect exactly what i ordered not substituting meat with potatoes. Small portions, ordered garlic naan that didn’t arrive. We also ordered 2 onion bhaji starters only 1 was delivered especially as they were £9 for 3 minuscule bhaji. We ordered korma omg disgusting flavour full of sugar. I did send 3 messages asking for a call back as it say all comments welcome not a single response. Please save you money and time and find a decent restaurant.
