Uncomfortable chairs, staff disinterested and unaccommodating, Meal disappointing and very small with two very small potatoes on a roast dinner. We asked for a booths because the very small chairs were uncomfortable and we told that all five were booked. One and three quarters of an hour later and all but one were empty. Customer satisfaction is very low on the staff’s priority. Will not return and would not recommend.

First time visitor. Highly recommended. The food was amazing. I had the roast Chicken and my partner had the roast beef. Great selection of drinks including cocktails. A must if you are in the hub area of Milton Keynes. The staff are also top notch. Sean looed after us so well as did Paul the manager. Thank you all so much. We had a wonderful time.

Geniune a lovely place to go. We went for dinner for my birthday. All staff so polite and with a smile on their face. Food was excellent! Before dinner we stood in the bar area to have few drinks . Their cocktails are great!!! Roxana was so lovely, nice chat while she was making the drinks. Friendly and made you feel very comfortable! Every time I go out I go there!!! Love the place .

I love this restaurant. I try to celebrate all my Special Occasions, Birthdays, and Graduations here. I went there for with some girlfriends for dinner and drinks. The atmosphere was good, and the team are always friendly and welcoming, great customer service and nothing is too much trouble, The food was excellent, and the portion sizes were just right. One of our party had complex food allergies, and our server (Adriano), provided the allergen guide to review all the ingredients used to make up the dishes on the menu, on an iPad. Definite bonus! I would highly recommend a visit!

Booked afternoon tea for my mothers 70th birthday. Wished we had gone elsewhere. The venue is beautiful but the staff were bland and largely ignored us. 25 minutes we waited before staff came over to take order. The afternoon tea we had booked on line wasn't what was served, it was a different more expensive menu. The tea came half an hour before any food. The food took ages whilst the restaurant was largely empty. We had 2 half sandwiches each which the bread felt hard like it had been left out for some time and a roll the size of a thumb. The scones were tiny and cakes were all Christmassy, not what we booked online. I think they were using up leftover stock. Had to wait ages everytime we asked for sweetners/ water etc. I really wouldn't bother, go elsewhere. Over £200, when a sandwich and scone from m+s would have been nicer.

Where to start.... We waited 50 minutes for 2 roast dinners, a pasta dish, some chicken skewers and onion rings. Not sure why it took so long as the veg and potatoes were barely roasted - no colour on them at all. We sent the onion rings back as they were stone cold. The roast chicken was heavily herbed which lent the whole dish a weird flavour, but the roast beef was fine. The prawn and crab linguini had 5 prawns in it. Overall £110 on something that wasn't worth it. And nearly an hours wait in a restaurant with just 4 other tables of diners

First time visiting - we went for Breakfast and the food, drinks and atmosphere didn’t disappoint! They also have great gluten and vegan options. Would highly recommend!

Lovely atmosphere and a very friendly welcome. We were celebrating a birthday so were lucky to have a discount code towards our meal. Fabulous start with champagne followed by juicy filet steak and side salad. Great food and very good service. Waiter even sang happy birthday - what's not to like. We do find this restaurant is consistently good and will return.

Beautiful afternoon tea for our anniversary. Everything tasted fresh and amazing, with unlimited refills on tea or coffee which was fantastic. Had two vanilla oat lattes and they were really good. Most afternoon teas I've had before you need a box to take the left overs home. If you're looking for one of these, this isnt it. It's small and dainty, focusing on quality over quantity. Good amount for me but a bit on the small side for my husband. The only afternoon tea I've ever actually finished!

This place is a wonderful setting for friends or family to meet. The choice of food was great and really struggled to choose what we wanted. And our waiter Adriano was great, going above and beyond to make it a celebratory evening for my friend. We will be back and highly recommend.

Such a lovely little restaurant. If you can look past 1 cocktail and pint setting you back £24, this place is perfect for drinks. Hope to come to try food after taking out a loan

Fantastic atmosphere, great service and fabulous food. Chef Ojars did not disappoint… there was something on the menu for everyone, and Everything was amazing. Although I’m not a big drinker they had a great selection of beers, wines and cocktails too! Will defo visit again when I’m in the area. And my friends loved it too, so you might see them again sooner rather than later!

I walked in this morning and my rating reflects the abysmal service I received on entry. I’m well dressed and staying at the hotel next door. The place is somewhat quiet with two people behind the bar talking. I simply asked if I could see the menu and I got a sharp response that I have to sit down if I want to eat (of course I knew this). Issue is there was no greeting and when I was handed the menu it was as though I was putting the woman out by interrupting her conversation with a colleague. I walked out - clearly they prefer to socialise with each other than serve customers.

I am lactose intolerant and as soon as we were seated Sandra came over with an iPad for me so that I could use the glass onion app. It was so easy for me to select milk as my allergen and then everything that had milk in it was removed from the menu. That made the whole evening so much more relaxing. Service was excellent - and despite my intolerance there was a varied amount of dishes for me to choose from. Everything was cooked to perfection and Sandra was perfectly attentive. I mentioned that it was my birthday and was treated to a decorative vegan ice cream with candle, alongside dessert. It felt like nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely return.

Dotty, was exceptional. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and had a delightful personality that made my dining experience most enjoyable. Spacious, elegant with lovely food. Dotty was an attentive server with a ready smile. Restaurant started to fill up about 8pm and the atmosphere was enjoyable. A fine evening at a most pleasant venue.

My friend and I had a chateaubriand for Sunday lunch which we have had many times there before.It was very over cooked this time and the waiter Adriano couldn’t do enough for us.He went above and beyond to sort things for us.We will definitely be going back

I've been to Browns in Cambridge many times, and hadn't appreciated it was part of a chain. Anyway, the Milton Keynes restaurant was just as good. I'd visited for a midweek lunch with colleagues and it was busier than expected, so glad we booked in advance. Typically don't opt for steak, but having seen some of the plates coming out of the kitchen I thought it might be worth a try.....and it was - cooked to perfection together with the accompanying scallops. The dishes never seem complete with adding side orders but the food was very good, well presented and the staff friendly. The restaurant is elegant and relaxed - great place to spend an afternoon, and I imagine it would be a fantastic venue for dinner and drinks. A good, albeit expensive, lunch.

We had such an amazing time. From the greeting at the door to the good bye at the end of the night. Went for hubby’s birthday for the surf and turf. It was delicious. They even brought out an al a carte plate of happy birthday for hubby. We had such a nice time and will definitely go back.
