Highly recommend this place. Food fantastic, best meal we’ve had in a while. Atmosphere great and all the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. Will definitely be back. Thank you for an amazing evening.
What a find! A hidden gem in the RH10 area, Pease Pottage.
Had the 6 course Spring menu along with the wine pairing and it was exquisite. Service and food are exceptional, with a full explanation of each course along with the wine pairing. Very romantic and relaxed setting, with the option of a stay over. We will make this a seasonal visit, along with the odd Sunday lunch. You could also privately hire the venue for a special occasion. All in all, this was a fantastic experience and one I will share with friends and family. Thank you to our hosts, Paul and Rich, who clearly care about their customers, the food and the setting. 10/10 from us!!
I’m not sure I really want to leave a review for this because then everyone will know about it. This is the most exclusive place in Hayward’s Heath to eat. It’s also the most unique dining experience I’ve ever had. Sam opens up her home to just 12 guests just a couple of times a year. She always plans an amazing and unique menu, something different every time, which is always excellent quality. She has such a love of food, vintage recipes that it feels a real honour to go to one of her supper clubs. Excellent value for money and super evening. I hope to book again! Please don’t tell anyone!!
Delightful little cafe attached to the church. Very friendly volunteers serving up a wide variety of freshly prepared light meals including home made cakes. Easy parking. Good coffee. Just two improvements needed - a few cushions for the hard chairs, and could try to open on more than 2 days a week
Highly recommend
What a fabulous authentic pizza establishment in our local village.
Went here as a family of 7 yesterday and we were not disappointed.
The pizzas were so delicious and made with homemade dough and carefully selected ingredients used for the toppings.
The pizzas are even better than we have had on our many visits to Italy.
The children’s menu at £10 for a two course meal was excellent value for money and thoroughly enjoyed by our pasta loving 3 year old.
Great menu and drinks selection .
A welcoming restaurant with friendly, happy staff .
How very lucky are we to have this little gem in the village 🤩
Came here on the recommendation of others and really glad that we did. Great to see a local place that has genuine passion for what it does.
The ciders were great, we tried a fair few between us (thanks designated driver) from fruity to traditional to the driest thing I've ever tasted - good to try new things.
The pizzas were a real bonus - really tasty and a bit out of the ordinary too.
We did have a bit of an issue with one aspect of service and I contacted the Cider Tap afterwards to try and resolve but never heard back. That did put a bit of a downer on things but overall, excellent drinks and spot-on pizza.
What a delightful cafe! Coffee was delicious and the gentleman who served us was so helpful and friendly! It was the perfect way to start the day. Great value for money and really close to the station. Well worth the trip
Latte great coffee taste with well balanced flavour. Good service and ambience. Good strong espresso. They must be using premium beans. Well done - we will be back!
Fantastic cafe. top quality food by a super friendly owner. breakfasts here have become a must do for bluebell railway staff working at East Grinstead and more than likely you'll see us in there around 9am.
I adore chilli on chips.
I spend every day not breakfasting at the zac shack, wishing I was breakfasting at the zac shack.
Whilst waiting for my MOT to be completed I visited Jubilee Community Centre Cafe. The welcome was warm and genuine, and I was made to feel very at home. The choice of cake was good and the price was very reasonable. I would definitely return and bring friends with me! In the background parents were dropping children at the nursery, ladies were chatting about their Pilates class but it felt a very calm and friendly space. I feel embarrassed that I didn't realise this existed in East Grinstead; what a GREAT Community Centre.
The Little Green Truck was in Knole Park on this cold December afternoon the day after the Winter Solstice. I’d seen it as I started my long walk and had hot chocolate very much on my mind pretty much all the way round. I was not disappointed. Such a cheerful, friendly and super-efficient team and a marvellous hot choc. So pleased they’ll be back at Knole on Boxing Day -and likely to seek the little truck out in its more usual habitat.
Local run business. Well established in the town and very popular with a more mature clientele. Everything cooked from fresh by the owner and her friendly team. Very popular on Sunday for their roast lunches. Good portion sizes. Highly recommended.
Stayed at this hotel for business several times now and ate in the restaurant.
Decent food for a hotel restaurant. Received friendly and attentive service from Freya.
