The Little Green Truck was in Knole Park on this cold December afternoon the day after the Winter Solstice. I’d seen it as I started my long walk and had hot chocolate very much on my mind pretty much all the way round. I was not disappointed. Such a cheerful, friendly and super-efficient team and a marvellous hot choc. So pleased they’ll be back at Knole on Boxing Day -and likely to seek the little truck out in its more usual habitat.

Ordered homemade cakes for Mother’s Day & a delicious selection was provided along with vegan options and sausage rolls. Would highly recommend for any celebration or just treat yourself! 🎉 😊

Spotlessly clean cute retro Citroen van, nice coffee and even some home made cakes and biscuits. Service is friendly and they even have a loyalty card.

Usually I am not impressed by coffee vans but not only is this one immaculately presented, the owners are so accommodating, the coffee is decent, and they have oat milk.. and they have some home made cakes, not the usual shop-bought rubbish. Excellent!

I visited this coffee van having passed a few times in the past. I'm glad I did, as it is probably the best place in the town for takeaway hot drinks and their home made bakes. The people working at the cafe van were very friendly and helpful, and were happy to chat while the drinks that we ordered were being made. The hot drinks that we ordered were lovely and perfectly made. As the cafe van is in the middle of the East Court grounds there are plenty of spaces to sit down outside, with a play area nearby, a picnic area opposite, and benches the other side of the mansion with great views over the High Weald. I would strongly recommend if you happen to be nearby, but would suggest checking their opening times, as it seems to change regularly.

Excellent food and wine, and friendly professional service. Also good knowledge of gluten free requirements and a nice choice on the menu. We were off to a concert at Adastra Hall so no time for dessert but we will be back! Certainly highly recommended..

Lovely place to eat and plenty of views and if you are lucky enough you may see the local fox that comes to visit from time to time.

As I vegan, I never expect to be able to eat anything special when I’m not in my home town of go to comforts.. but I was so blown away by their vegan rainbow sandwich! (Can’t remember it official name!) It was so beautifully presented and in abundance, it was such a treat! One of the best bites I’ve had in ages. Thank you! Left so happy !

I left my review as a private note through OpenTable but unfortunately have not heard anything from Safari Pizza about my experience. I don’t want the waitress to get into any trouble but my experience has made me not want to return. I asked for a burrata bomb pizza without the cherry tomatoes. The waitress seemed to feel this was wrong even though I know my own tastes. I have tried cherry tomatoes before and do not like them. The waitress decided I should have one cherry tomato and I didn’t feel I was able to say no. The waitress then came to the table later to check if I had tried the cherry tomato and when I said I still didn’t like them, she again didn’t seem happy with this. I said I found it tart but the waitress tried to correct me and told me I would have found it sweet. I am autistic and have struggled with food textures (and being teased as a child for some of my preferences) so this made me feel uncomfortable to the point I would not wish to return to Safari Pizza unfortunately.

Such a joy to find this little place. The food has that home-made nourishing feeling to it – really tasty and satisfying. The location, right by Devil's Dyke, is idyllic. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Lovely to sit outside and soak up the sun in its laid-back atmosphere.
