I’m not sure I really want to leave a review for this because then everyone will know about it. This is the most exclusive place in Hayward’s Heath to eat. It’s also the most unique dining experience I’ve ever had. Sam opens up her home to just 12 guests just a couple of times a year. She always plans an amazing and unique menu, something different every time, which is always excellent quality. She has such a love of food, vintage recipes that it feels a real honour to go to one of her supper clubs. Excellent value for money and super evening. I hope to book again! Please don’t tell anyone!!

We have been to other events cooked by Sam. Each time we say, 'this is the best ever', - and she has done it again. The highlight of the 5 courses was the venison - cooked to perfection; though the pigeon in pastry, the rabbit pate, and the meddler sticky toffee pudding were all excellent. The added treat this time was having Neil as sommelier and guiding us through the matched wines, mead and sherry. We wouldn't have tried these combinations on our own - and appreciate Niel and Sam's research into getting the matching right. We look forward to future events!

We booked a private dining experience for 11 friends and had a wonderful evening. We started with a delicious summer fruit Bellini in the garden then moved inside for a 4 course Italian themed menu of exquisite tastes and flavours, finishing with coffee and home made petit fours. Sam welcomes you to her home with warmth and generosity and calmly serves up an array of wonderful food without fuss. We brought with us a selection of wines for each course, kindly chosen for us by the local off licence Grape and Grain (highly recommended) which added extra interest and enjoyment to the meal. This is such a fabulous, unique experience and a really great way to enjoy exceptionally fine dining with friends. We are already discussing our next visit.

What a find ! We enjoyed a thoroughly relaxed evening with delicious food in great company . It is difficult to add more praise as the previous reviews say it all . We certainly plan to return for another meal very soon and cannot recommend the repast supper club highly enough.

Six of us shared the table with three other couples in a themed dinner. The setting was intimate and the food fabulous. Our hosts were attentive, informal and informative, providing historical backstory to the chosen menu. And it is BYO! What's not to like. We shall certainly be returning, either to another preset themed evening or to a private bespoke meal.

Once again this highly knowledgeable cook has found the right balance between historic recipes and modern tastes. The meal was thoroughly researched and very enjoyable to eat! As ever - we also enjoyed meeting and conversing with fellow diners. We look forward to Sam's next meal - it really is the best dining experience in this area (so glad we live nearby!).

We had not been to a supper club before and were not disappointed. Lovely food, a delicious cocktail, interesting historical food facts and meeting lovely guests. The hosts Sam and Louise provided a very warm welcome to round it off. Looking forward to going again.

We came for the Mothers' day Victorian afternoon tea and the whole experience was a delight. Not only was the food delicious but every item came with a story attached about its place in history and how it was made. The service was impeccable, with regular fill ups of the tea pot and a seemingly never ending supply of goodies. On arrival we received complimentary fizz, and left with individual simnel cakes. An interesting house and lovely, welcoming hosts.

I can’t recommend this venture highly enough. - we went for the Lent Lunch - the house is very lovely and dotted with amazing artwork. Each course was was perfectly prepared food that looked and tasted delicious. Sam - our host. - took the time to talk us through the dishes and added some incredible marmalade ‘leather’ to eat with our coffee. We had a great time and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. We will definitely be going again it was a real treat!

Went to Repast for 'fanny cradock ' evening. Excellent food and company. Menu included prawn cocktail, chicken kievs and crepe suzette all cooked with a nod to Fanny's use of unusual colour and 'modern' ingredients of that ere.

Once more Sam has surpassed herself - with excellent food delivered against a historic theme. Who would have thought that Fanny Cradock's colourful creations of the 1970s would make such a tasty and entertaining evening.

Went to the Repast supper club for a Burns night extravaganza. Delicious marmalade cocktail and a scrummy food. The venison was delicious, as were the haggis mini starters.. Thoroughly recommend it.

We went to the supper club for the second time this month with a group of friends. We thoroughly enjoyed the Vietnamese New Year themed supper as we did the Mexican one in November. Sam is a very talented cook and has many interesting ideas. We will come again! Well done!
