Aroma Cafe in Mid Sussex

This is not your average cafe- both food and services have standard. We went there both for breakfast & lunch upon friends' recommendation. Then we discovered it does bistro during weekends evenings which we went on a Friday night. We were very impressed: it is very obvious the chef has a passion for food and understand the ingredients and has technical ability. The plates of food were expertly presented. The manager is Matt who does everything efficiently and politely, a good communicator. A lovely experience overall.

Visited today for the first time while visiting a friend who lives in Hassocks. Perfect service and delicious food. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

You can always tell a place is good when they have regular customers and it was clear that the Aroma how to stream of regulars coming in for lunch. My partner and I had a lovely lunch freshly prepared and plenty of it. Not sure when we’ll be back in the area, but as and when we are will be coming back to the Aroma.

I've been 4 times now and every time the food has been delicious. Lovely, relaxed atmosphere. Reasonably priced. Good wine menu. Always tempted by desert!

Aroma Cafe and kitchen never fails to impress. We were there for lunch with a couple of friends. The welcome was warm and friendly and one of our group with quite specific dietary requirements had no trouble in choosing something suitable from the menu. Generous portions, all home-cooked and truly delicious. Thank you so much. We'll be back.
