I’ve been to the tapas and small plates evenings twice now and the food is amazing. The service, atmosphere and wine is great too. The menu changes slightly each week and the quality and taste of each dish is fantastic. Can’t wait to go back. I’ve always thought this is the best lunch venue and now this total different evening menu has taken the deli to the next level.

FABULOUS! We have just come back from trying the new offering of a Tapas Menu at the Adastra Deli, which is available only on Friday and Saturday evenings. It was absolutely wonderful. Matteo has done a great job turning the coffee shop into an evening bistro and the food was so delicious in both taste and presentation. The service was warm, welcoming and efficient. Bravo Jackie and team! A brilliant addition to Hassocks nightlife and food offerings. They have found a niche which I suspect will be extremely popular. We shall definitely return and spread the word. Bravo bravissimo!

Adastra Deil had a Tapas evening, food and wine was outstanding. We had a great evening, staff were great. Value was very good, we had 4 Tapas plates, wine and coffee and it was less than £50. We are going to go back with a large group of friends.

I love this deli. The food they serve at lunchtime is great - lots of choice. They have just started tapas evenings on Fridays and Saturdays. The food was really good - choices for vegetarians and meat eaters - patas bravas, wonderful zucchini sticks, meatballs and so on. Beer, wine and soft drinks available. And the atmosphere/ambience was spot on. I highly recommend the tapas evenings and the deli overall (NB they have a great wine selection for purchase from the shop and a wide selection of food items too).

This is a great deli in the heart of Hassocks. The food was delicious, and they have a great selection of drinks and great ice cream too! We sat outside as it was nice weather, but the inside is also spacious. Would recommend this to anyone who likes good food and wants a nice environment to relax or socialise in.

This place was recommended by friends who'd raved about the sandwiches - they were not wrong! Really satisfying, flavourful food served in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The hidden gem is the huge range of speciality deli food including tapenades, organic sauces and coffee beans. I've got presents sorted for foody friends for the foreseeable future...

A small group of colleagues gathered for a late lunch at the deli and we all had different things. Mine was a fresh, sumptuous, lightly curried egg sandwich served with a side salad. The staff were attentive and charming. The shop has some tempting honeys and other bits to buy, and the ice creams are excellent too. Good value, good taste.

This deli is an absolute must visit- delicious sandwiches and a super friendly team. The Cubano was 10/10.

My friends and I stopped in here for lunch and we were blown away by the sandwiches and lovely service! The owner was very accommodating of our large party and even played some songs for us. 10/10 would recommend to anyone stopping in Hassocks!

Eaten here many, many times. Sandwiches are amazing and huge! Breakfast burrito is a classic. Had the new Chicken Pot pie yesterday, it was delicious. Staff are really friendly and helpful. So lucky to have the deli in Hassocks.

This is a little gem and my absolute favourite place for lunch! I’ve had every dish on the menu, some many times and they are always delicious, freshly made, nicely presented and very generous portions. The menu is packed with the best sandwiches ever (the cubano and house roast beef are 2 of my favourites), something different that don’t get everywhere but if you want a simpler option then the kitchen are happy to accommodate. The breakfast burritos are a great alternative to your usual morning options. If there are specials or events on these are not to be missed. Matteo is an excellent chef and we are so lucky to have Adastra deli on our doorstep.
