The best restaurants in Strood South Medway South East

The food great but the service so slow. Arrived for 14:00 and at 15.27 still here. No starter just main gave up on desert . Not very busy so not sure why so slow?

Very convenient if you are staying in the Premier Inn across the road, as well as good value for money. The only observation I would make is that they could do with a bit more circulation space in front of the counter. Other than that, the food was warm and tasty and the service was quick and pleasant. Harry who works there is nice.

Use to be my one to go for but how rude can people be I don't care if your busy or what ever can't handle it don't accept the order salt and pepper was awful no chilli's no nothing pointless might as well of had nuggets also they forgot CRISPY PANCAKE ROLLS not spring rolls its perfectic GET NEW STAFF who has people skills won't be using again and nor will my relatives who eat from here weekly Ow and satay chicken is on a skewer not a SOUP

Rude staff and bad belly after eating there food won’t be returning

I bought cod and chips from the Gordon chippy and ate them from a box, on a bench in the grassy area opposite the little shop. Had to wait, so they were piping hot. I really enjoyed them. At first, I thought the chips looked grotty--but it was only because they were browned. But chips don't have to be golden, and they had fresh white potato inside and lots of flavour. The cod was decent, with plenty of white flesh, in a rich batter. Friendly lady served me, old enough to remember how fish and chips should be.

It was lunchtime, the cafe was nowhere near full. There were no clean mugs, the teapots definitely need a good clean/descale and then there is only one hot water/coffee machine in working order. Speaking to others in the queue the machines have been out of order for many months?!? It's not expensive but surely one should expect a decent service?

We are staying at the royal bull and victoria in rochester. It has terrible phone service. However, despite this after 3 attempts dominos still sent out a fresh order bless them xxx BEST EVER !!!

This place is very dirty, tables are stained and dishes plus litter left. The floor is sticky, drinks are shoved in your face and spills everywhere. The sugar section is filthy. The tables are cleaned with smelly sponge cloth. Most importantly my tea wasn't tasty pg tips was better than teavana tea bag which cost me loads and the chocolate cookie was stale. God knows how long the cookie was sitting there for.

Avoid - Vile & Disgusting! Non existent customer service! This evening we ordered a bucket we received 10 legs & the rest was wings & two thighs! The food arrived cold & chips undercooked. I called the branch and the manager said apparently you have to what’s given. KFC say you have to have equally distributed pieces. The manager was rude and didn’t care!
