Staff look and sound miserable, customer service not great… called out order number but half the food was missing after I collected it

Really good staff,food was made promptly,I previously had a negative experience here so thought it only appropriate I mentioned how much it has improved. The staff were very polite

Ordered a delivery from here and when I received the order and looked in the bag noticed my bucket for one was missing one piece of chicken and two mini fillets looked as though the box had been opened and when was delivered was just dumped outside the door without a care in the world I’ve already requested a refund through just eat as not being able to make a complete order is not acceptable by any standard and as a paying customer I was robbed of what I ordered

Had bargain bucket chicken was burnt had a chemical taste to it absolutely disgusting gave us all upset stomach even when my husband had diarrhoea all you can smell is kfc all bad reviews are true avoid Strood KFC at all costs

i ordered 4 meals and one was missing they missed one of the meals, they messed up the drinks order too, when we rang them up the man on the phone was very patronising and calling me lovely which is not very good customer service, they would not just send the meal that was missing so we had to order it again so someoneone was missing there lunch when everyone else is eating, i will not be ordering from them AGAIN!!

Visited KFC in Strood retail park. Ordered a take away. Food was ready reasonably quickly, but there were no lids for the crushems. When we got home we found the order missing a portion of chips & a side. That was probably the high point. Our daughters wrap contained gone off salad. My burger bun was so stale you could have knocked nails in with it, as was my other daughters. The chicken pieces my wife had were greasy & one was so over cooked you could probably have used it to pull the nails out I'd knocked in with my bun. Only decent point was that the server did put a whole bunch of tomato sauces in the bag - but if thats hardly a highlight of a meal 🤔

This is our local KFC, we use it less now because everytime we go there for a takeaway when we get home there's something missing. Sometimes it's a piece of chicken but mainly a side dish (Coleslaw, Gravy, Chips, etc) they are always very busy and with speed on assembling orders things get missed which leaves us with disappointment for our family meal.

Normally KFC is a decent meal for the money... However, this one in Strood is the pits The Chicken was so overdone that it was burnt... the Fries were soggy .. also there was NO Salt !! incredible........ When I spoke to the deputy manager ( Poz) he said that the staff should have changed the oil in the morning but didnt ... Mind you Poz didnt recifiy it himself.. He complained ( We have new Chefs ) (we are short staffed due to Brexit)... We are in short supply of Cups and condiments due to BREXIT ... if thats true then i hope he can sort it out soon.. if its not true then its just another tier of incompenant Individuals in jobs which theyre just not qualified

I cannot believe they cannot get their orders right, we have ordered twice from them and both times there was food missing and the food sent was cold, also no dips sent with the food. The chips look like they were cooked last week and the chicken coating is hard. When we phoned they refused to accept they had made a mistake and refused to give a refund, this is disgusting, avoid using them at all costs

Ordered 3 boneless banquet. The chicken breast was disgusting had to spit it out. The coating had a weird chemical taste made me heave took it in to change. They gave us more . Tasted exactly the same. When we went in again they just said maybe the oil. Wouldn't be surprised if there were some upset stomachs tonight.

I have seen this chain gradually slip over the years, the only thing they're interested is money. Portions of chips are tiny, buckets have got smaller, the flavour on the chicken isn't authentic as the 'Colonel' made it. They are the worst fast food chain around, as a family we no longer visit as the company are just out to rob people. They have no interest in their customers just their wallets!

Staff got order wrong, when I asked them to correct it they gave me the same order back, covered up the error only for me to find the lie when I got home. They only had to change two pieces of chicken. Do not use - perfect example of bad service

All KFCs seem unable to put an order together in general but this branch some how manages to get it wrong EVERY TIME! Never leave without checking your bag!!!

Ordered on Just Eat tonight at 7.30pm. Said 8.30pm delivery! It’s now 10.40pm and no sign of it, plus Just Eat have it down as delivered!! Don’t waste your time! What a shambles! Would give zero stars if I could!!

Just had takeaway from here only to find burger was rock solid and tasted like it had been kept warm all night and 2 pieces of thigh turned into 6 dry and tasteless wings. I know it was late but if you don’t have what I’ve ordered at least have the decency to tell me. I’ll be emailing head office in the morning

Cold bland red chicken I was told chicken meat was white not the stuff KFC produce in a nutshell avoid

Despite my better judgement after a dreadful previous visit I was talked into going back to collect a takeaway order again by my family.Waited ages even though it wasn’t that busy.Checked the order myself before leaving must to the disgust of the staff member that served me who barked “You don’t need to check it, it’s all there you know”. It wasn’t there were two things missing which were thrown in the bag with “It’s all there now!”.To my dismay when I got home there was less chicken in the box than I had paid for. I phoned the branch and fifteen minutes later after trying to get through I was informed I should have taken the food back if I could prove something was missing. I was disgusted by the attitude and it will be a long time before I risk that kind of customer service again in a hurry.

Went down the KFC in strood and ordered a 12 piece boneless bucket. Got home and started to share out the goodies to find about 10 and half pieces of chicken, not 12 as advertised. Not only have I been done out of a whole fillet, we also got a half chewed up fillet with barely any chicken on it. When I pay £17.99 I expect what the menu is offering! Other than that, everything else was fine. Where's my Chicken!

I absolutely love kfc chicken. Been craving it lately and the food did not disappoint. Get some original pieces

Yet again I got home to find food missing from my order.This was the straw that broker the camels back given the number of times this has happened to us as a family over the years. I took the time to email my complaint to KFC. I got a reply from someone whose English grammar was poor and a £3 voucher.This is derisory and in no way makes up for the irritation and inconvenience we have experienced over the years - poorly handled complaint.We will stick to Mc Downloads from now on who never leave out food when we have a family treat takeaway

Good food venue very good parking, good service, and good quality food to either eat in or take away, good menu to close from, good friiendly staff. A good fast food venue in Strood

Good chicken. Fried chicken must be cooked to a great level of juiciness and that’s what my pieces had. Shame that KFC are running low these days.

Just what you would expect from a KFC ... freshly cooked and staff friendly enough . Restaurant was clean with adequate seating no problem parking but was after bigger stores closed .

Just been done up and looks the part. Still not sure about the whole, order then walk over there to collect your food, as it is just like a load of people hanging around, no organization of the queue. Otherwise really nice

It was closed for a while for a refit but back in operation. Lots of free parking but do not make the mistake of leaving your car there and walking into Strood...you will get a parking fine ! Staff friendly and service prompt.

El Strood KFC se ha realizado una reforma completa. Esto ha añadido un piso entresuelo Necesitado y un mejor sistema de colas. Probamos el 8 piezas de pechuga de pollo 'Dipper comida 'con 2 grandes, 4 patatas 1. Botella de 5 litro de bebida y palomitas de pollo grande. Las piezas de carne de mama eran de un buen tamaño y bien caliente. La nueva selección de salsas es impresionante con la salsa caliente original siendo un belter! No para los pusilánimes. . . La comida era abundante y satisfactoria y recomiendo encarecidamente.

Regular fries were extra extra small and the fried chicken had soaked up way too much oil as if it had not been drained or that it was left in warm oil before serving time, complained to the staff and was told he would raise it with the manager and simply carried on cleaning, will never go there again,

KFC can be very nice but sometimes the chicken is so hard I can't actually chew into it! There new caramel frappes taste gorgeous! They have a good variety of food, and do kids meals and even £1.99 snack boxes which can easily fill you up.

I ordered a family bucket meal as we were in a rush as going away on holiday. When got it home it was so oily the bottom of the box was dripping and the bag was swimming with grease. I tried to soak up the chicken with cloth but it really put us off. I know it was fresh out as very hot when I got given it. The chips got thrown away. Chicken picked apart. If I could have been bothered I would have taken it back. It is a shame as it was a treat for my daughter as she is not normally allowed KFC. I realise it can't always be like that as KFC wouldn't have a company but surely Strood shouldn't have let it go out like that??

Nice hot food, nice friendly staff and above all the place looked like it had been the target for a massive spring clean. Very impressed

This KFC is in a great location you can park outside with no parking fees. The food is always hot and fresh.

Reluctantly used he Kfc, ordered a zinger, the chips were cold the burger was ok ish , Deffo won't use again.KFC need Tomane sure there is a consistency of quality over there restaurants

I'm not a great fan of fast food outlets, but I'm quite happy to come to this bustling KFC with my teenaged godson when we're in the area. The staff are cheerful and efficient, the food always arrives promptly and is hot. Despite it being a very busy Saturday with lots of young people, the place was spotless with a member of staff cleaning and tidying continuously, we felt they really make an extra effort at this KFC.

It's just another KFC so the service is always good and they are happy to solve problems. Good food which and accessible parking so overall a decent restaurant.

Nice little lunchtime treat for the boys, "CHICKEN SHOP" is all I hear as we walk past and who am I to say no?? They loved it, it was nice and hot and lovely staff.

Have come before and left because it's such a state. My husband wanted to come for dinner as it's before rush hour I thought no excuse to be filthy but as usual it's repulsive I wouldn't let my dog eat in here never mind my kids.

This place is much better than the one in Penzance,the staff are pleasant and the place is much cleaner than the Penzance one, this one is always being cleaned, the only problem is its sometimes to cold and you can't enjoy your food

After my operation (Gastric Sleeve) I am very limited as to what I eat, however a chicken meal with two mini fillets goes down nicely. Nice staff, no drive thru and easy access. Parking is always busy, but there are other car parks close by

Every time I go tables always messy chips always cold always loos like it needs a good clean staff are friendly but you shouldn't be chasing them around to wipe tables etc

A nice restaurant KFC staff are always happy, its so refreshing to see this regularly. Food hot, all there, well presented and tasty

We have been going here since it opened Now we only use it if we're desperate for a takeaway, 8/10 times we've had a takeaway we've got it home, whilst dishing it up we find we are something or other short (i.e Gravy, Coleslaw or a piece of chicken) Too far to go back........ They need to check each order more thoroughly when they pack em!

We love KFC but what ever possess the designers of this KFC restaurant design a tiled floor and then put metal leg chairs for people to sit on. As people get up and down from the table it makes an awful scraping noise across the floor which I can only compare with fingernails scraping down a blackboard set your teeth on edge and in our case spoils your enjoyment of the food.

Apparently kfc is really big in the USA. We tried the chicken that has a Cajun, southern fried taste, delish! The children loved it, can't wait to try a bucket next! Unbelievably cheap prices and there's no need to book!

Went here last week for a weekday takeaway. The queue was to the door and the staff were wizzing around like the blue bummed flies! It was all very professional, every member of staff seemed switched on and the food was very hot.
