Superfood salad and wraps are amazing.

I went to the fox and goose for a few drinks and was served by the lovely grace, she gave me an exceptional service when I pop in for a few drinks. She was very attentive and informed me about various upcoming events in the pub. I felt very welcomed will definitely be back again.

The rooms and service were good as you would expect, but the location was exceptional. Located right next to a really pretty riverside walk.

Went to get coffee at around just after 5pm today, however the staff that was working and served me was so rude, she was huffing and puffing when I asked politely if they were still open and then once again huffing and puffing when I merely asked do they have a certain type of syrup. Literally had the most miserable look on her face when I couldn’t have been any more polite in the things I was asking. With multiple eye rolls during the whole interaction. I was so disgusted with her customer service I walked away and didn’t even order a coffee before starting my night shift. Definatley not the sort of customer service you expect at a high end establishment like costa and will definitely not be going to this costa ever again.

I know inflation has caused us to cut back, but the slice of cake was pathetic!!! Half what it used to be.

We absolutely LOVE The King’s Arms. Been coming here each week for a drink for the past few months and always made to feel welcome by the staff. We decided to book a family meal for my mum’s 81st birthday after seeing how good the food looked when we were visiting each week. The meal was fantastic. Beautifully presented, very tasty and a menu that is way beyond “pub grub”. The staff were very attentive and friendly throughout our meal and we felt really looked after. Would definitely recommend and my wife and I are planning on coming back for just the two of us.

We came here for a birthday dinner and booked our table in advance. At first, I was confused as we had been seated upstairs and I had mentioned in our booking that we would be coming with a pram. However, the upstairs seating was much quieter and we had an area to ourselves which was lovely, especially with the children. The starters were amazing but the main courses were not as good as we had remembered them being a few months ago. I believe we were served by Kayleigh, who was absolutely amazing, engaged with the children so well and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed throughout our meal.

Another excellent night at the Yew Tree. Great food, great atmosphere and great staff. Definitely worth a visit.

The food was really good but wish it had come out faster! The salad bar was well kept up, and even though it was busy, the food quality was what you’d expect from a Harvester.

Nice pub garden during Warmer months. Nice Green King gastro pub all in year round. Play area for kids in garden, although this backs on to car park and the fencing could use some upkeep.

I have been here many times, but this time brought some friends from Canada, one of whom is a very plain eater. There was plenty of choice for him, and the waiter, Kai, was super helpful. He was patient, made amendments with a smile and without complaint, and even arranged to have a side salad served as a starter (which is normal in Canada). The only thing that didn't go down well was the Apple Crumble. The topping was dry. Other than that, it was a successful visit.

When the new people took over last year it's been a lottery as to when they decide to open there was a lady when she was there it would be open around 9.30 but when there was a young guy and girl they would stroll in sometimes 10.30 or 10.45 then set up and you'd be lucky if it was before 11 it open and this was Sumner time when park was crowded we now notice its down to them to open the toilets so no chance of that till we'll after 10 am they seem to be more interested in mote park as there flagship and cobtree is an after thought it's a shame as its a loverly park
