Could not fault the food which was delicious sadly there were other diners nearby with no consideration or etiquette playing their phones loudly so everyone could hear it. Asked the staff to request that a polite word is said to those..but staff didn't so we had to ask those with loud phones nicely to turn their phones down. Ridiculous ..people have no awareness or consideration for other diners...

Had a 7 course taster menu which was absolutely amazing, great service and beyond lovely creative food.

Great location only couple negatives no staff on reception when arrived, even after pressing bell. Secondly meal deal was good value, but the meal in Malta Inn wasn't the best bit disappointing. Service great just poor food. Breakfast great and as much as you wanted. So overall ok

Went to get coffee at around just after 5pm today, however the staff that was working and served me was so rude, she was huffing and puffing when I asked politely if they were still open and then once again huffing and puffing when I merely asked do they have a certain type of syrup. Literally had the most miserable look on her face when I couldn’t have been any more polite in the things I was asking. With multiple eye rolls during the whole interaction. I was so disgusted with her customer service I walked away and didn’t even order a coffee before starting my night shift. Definatley not the sort of customer service you expect at a high end establishment like costa and will definitely not be going to this costa ever again.

I love Costa. I love the coffee I love the chicken and chicken sandwich. The staff are so very polite

After living in Maidstone for nearly 10 years why did I wait so long to visit. This in my opinion is probably the best gastro pub in the local area. We were welcomed with the warmest of welcomes from the team of friendly staff. But what you really want to know is how good the food is which is nothing short of exceptional. Not the cheapest but comparable to similar gastro pubs in the area and when the quality of service and food is as good as it was I don’t mind paying. Looking forward to my next visit, 11 out of 10! Absolutely first class!! just moving locally

Attended a wake here today, previously been here before, for another wake (as its just across the road from the crematorium). Nice, plentiful food and helpful staff.

Pleasantly surprised that the main meals were better than expected. Freshly cooked, hot and appetising. Unfortunately the salad bar was slightly depleted and the salad bowls were removed from the cart at 8.30pm. We had our table reservation booked for 8pm, so this meant we could only fit 1 visit to the salad bar, which was fine, however something to bear in mind if dining at later time.

Highly recommend the bell. Food is delicious and service is perfect. Our server, Sue, was lovely! Big smile and excellent service! We will definitely be coming back.

Breakfast was not nice. Egg and bacon uncooked. You could tell the sausages were very cheap. black pudding overcooked. Beans and mushrooms cold.

When the new people took over last year it's been a lottery as to when they decide to open there was a lady when she was there it would be open around 9.30 but when there was a young guy and girl they would stroll in sometimes 10.30 or 10.45 then set up and you'd be lucky if it was before 11 it open and this was Sumner time when park was crowded we now notice its down to them to open the toilets so no chance of that till we'll after 10 am they seem to be more interested in mote park as there flagship and cobtree is an after thought it's a shame as its a loverly park
